Nasty Climate Change Mafia By James Reed

It began with academic critical of the Left/communism in the 1950s, then extended to race theory, and then gender relations, and immigration, but essentially any academic who opposes the globalist aged of the status quo gets smashed. Well, I guess it is slightly better than being shot in the back of the head, USSR style, since the attempt to starve one to death still leaves the option of eating bush food, weeds, dumpster diving, begging and other scrounging, while working in the community library until closing time of 5 p.m.
  https://www.technocracy.news/the-great-academic-purge-of-skeptical-climate-scientists/
  https://www.forbes.com/sites/rogerpielke/2020/02/09/a-climate-blacklist-that-works-it-should-make-her-unhirable-in-academia/#105ba6e46368

“A climate advocacy group called Skeptical Science hosts a list of academics that it has labeled “climate misinformers.” The list includes 17 academics and is intended as a blacklist. We know of this intent because one of the principals of Skeptical Science, a blogger named Dana Nuccitelli, said so last Friday, writing of one academic on their list, “if you look at the statements we cataloged and debunked on her [Skeptical Science] page, it should make her unhirable in academia.” That so-called “unhirable” academic is Professor Judy Curry, formerly the chair of the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Georgia Tech, and a Fellow of both the American Geophysical Union and American Meteorological Society. By any conventional academic metric, Curry has compiled an impressive record over many decades. The idea that she would be unhirable would seem laughable. But there is nothing funny about Skeptical Science. Today, Curry should be a senior statesperson in the atmospheric sciences community. Instead, she is out of academia. She attributes that, at least in part, to being placed on the Skeptical Science blacklist and its use, as expressed by Nuccitelli, to make her “unhirable.” I asked Professor Curry about this situation. She explained, “In 2012 I was informed by my Dean that the administration wanted me to step down as Chair. While there were several reasons for this, one obvious reason was extreme displeasure by several activist climate scientists who had a very direct pipeline to the Dean.” So Curry stepped down and started looking for administrative positions at other universities, “At the time, I was getting numerous inquiries from academic headhunters encouraging me to apply for major administration positions, ranging from Dean to Vice Chancellor for Research. I applied for several of these, and actually interviewed for two of them. I did not make it to the final short list.”

A Philosopher Wants to Save the Planet by Letting Humans Die Off (Her, First!) By James Reed

I first saw this item about a philosopher, that is someone employed as a philosopher in a university, not to be confused with general lovers of wisdom, at the great Technocracy site, but then I was curious about what else I could find about someone who wants to deal with climate change, by seeing the human race pass into the eternal night. Whooaha! There was not far to search, including an occult connection:
  https://www.technocracy.news/climate-change-solved-by-letting-the-human-race-become-extinct/
  https://www.lifesitenews.com/blogs/feminist-prof-who-practices-occult-calls-for-human-extinction-to-save-planet

“On January 23, 2020, Bloomsbury Academic published a call to action for all those who care about “climate change.” The Ahuman Manifesto: Activism for the End of the Anthropocene by Patricia MacCormack, a professor of continental philosophy at Angelia Ruskin University, cuts to the chase and advocates for the ultimate solution to global warming: The end of the human race. For MacCormack, “Extinction Rebellion” has a whole different meaning. MacCormack admits to being an “occultist magician.” She has actually given lectures—often in a get-up that is either supposed to be emulating a witch and bearing an eerie resemblance to the costumes we see frequently at Drag Queen Storytime—on the “invocation” or “convocation” of demons, which she says is an important feminist or queer practice. Invoking demons, she says, is not entirely risk-free, because “madness is as likely as ecstasy.” She says all of this entirely unironically. MacCormack is not the sort of weak-kneed climate activist who believes that we should save the planet for our children. In fact, she doesn’t think there should be any children. A researcher who has “published in the areas of continental philosophy…feminism, queer theory, posthuman theory, horror film, body modification, animal rights/abolitionism, cinesexuality and ethics,” MacCormack once argued that animals are equal to human beings. Now, she’s arguing that humans should get out of the way entirely. The abstract for her book describes her thesis thusly: “Collapsing activism, artistic practice and affirmative ethics, while introducing some specifically modern phenomena like death cults, intersectional identify politics and capitalist enslavement of human and nonhuman organisms to the point of ‘zombiedom’, The Ahuman Manifesto navigates the ways in which we must compose the human differently, specifically beyond nihilism and post-and trans-humanism and outside human privilege. This is so that we can actively think and live viscerally, with connectivity (actual not virtual), and with passion and grace, toward a new world.” All of that nonsense, roughly translated, is that the culmination of human progress should be human extinction. What MacCormack is trying to do is to present “the apocalypse as an optimistic beginning,” but for other species, who will do much better once we’re all dead, an eventuality she finds positively wonderful to consider. Her book, according to the Cambridge News, “argues that due to the damage done to other living creatures on Earth, we should start gradually phasing out reproduction.”

Are They Calling Us? By Brian Simpson

This week there has been reports of a mysterious signal from deep space that repeats itself at a regular interval? Are the little green men trying to tell us something?
  https://www.zerohedge.com/technology/mysterious-deep-space-radio-signal-repeats-regular-intervals-baffling-astronomers
  https://edition.cnn.com/2020/02/11/world/repeating-fast-radio-burst-pattern-scn-trnd/index.html

“Mysterious radio signals from space have been known to repeat, but for the first time, researchers have noticed a pattern in a series of bursts coming from a single source half a billion light-years from Earth. Fast radio bursts, or FRBs, are millisecond-long bursts of radio waves in space. Individual radio bursts emit once and don't repeat. But repeating fast radio bursts are known to send out short, energetic radio waves multiple times. And usually when they repeat, it's sporadic or in a cluster, according to previous observations. Between September 16, 2018 and October 30, 2019, researchers with the Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment/Fast Radio Burst Project collaboration detected a pattern in bursts occurring every 16.35 days. Over the course of four days, the signal would release a burst or two each hour. Then, it would go silent for another 12 days.

The Looming Collision between Electric Vehicles and Green Energy By Viv Forbes

Two green-dream fantasies are heading for a massive and costly collision. Firstly they dream of generating all grid power from wind/solar propped up by battery storage (such as lots of giant Tesla batteries and pumped hydro). Secondly they dream of replacing all petrol/diesel/gas cars, trucks and buses with electric vehicles, powered by more batteries. But wind farms do well if they can average about 35% of their rated capacity with low predictability, while solar panels average just 25% of their capacity, produced intermittently. To generate zero emissions energy for Australia, we would need hills covered with turbines, flats covered with solar panels, the countryside spider-webbed with access roads and transmission lines, and much more hydro. To stabilise a green energy system without using hydrocarbons will require an eye-watering quantity of batteries, costing as much as 200 times the cost of any wind/solar facility needing backup. Every home will need a battery in the basement (and sensible ones will also have a diesel in the shed). Add to this battery bonanza millions of batteries will be needed to electrify and replace our fleet of petrol/diesel vehicles.

No wonder cynical mining companies like BHP are going green – they smell a jackpot from the coming green boom in demand for steel, aluminium, lithium, copper, nickel, graphite, cobalt, rare earths and nuclear fuels. And no wonder Tesla supports green energy – the total annual output of the world’s biggest battery factory in Nevada would store less than five minutes of annual US electricity demand. And they also see booming demand for electric vehicle batteries. No wonder Tesla shares have gone ballistic (the boom before the crash?). The carbon dioxide emitted by all the extra mining, transport, manufacture and disposal of green energy generators and batteries would far exceed the CO2 allegedly saved by the threatened green upheaval. All Australians rely on trucks to deliver their daily food to towns and cities - in road trains, semi-trailers, refrigerated trucks and electric trains, almost all powered by diesel, coal or gas. If they were all-electric and powered by batteries, where will the electricity come from to recharge all of these batteries? In tomorrow’s Australia it must come from an unreliable wind/solar grid, hydro power or diesel generators. Take a look in the link below at a road train taking cattle to market in the Kimberley region in outback Australia. One truck on its own would bog in the soft sand or in creek crossings, but with a 4WD tractor, four diesel semis and eight trailers linked in a road train, at least one set of driving wheels is likely to be on solid ground. In the electric vehicle fantasy-world, what weight of batteries would drive this road train and where would they recharge their batteries?

Let Them Eat Not Cake, but Radiation! By James Reed

Trust mother nature to solve our radiation problem, so we can keep up our high levels of consumption in this age of plenty:
  https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-7966773/Fungi-EATS-radiation-used-like-sun-block-humans-protect-against-deadly-rays.html

“A strand of fungi which spawned inside the Chernobyl nuclear reactor and eats radiation could allow humans to insulate against deadly rays. In 1991, five years after the disaster which rocked Ukraine, the black fungi was found sprouting up the walls of the abandoned reactor which had been flooded with gamma. Baffled how it managed to survive the extreme conditions, scientists examined the microorganism - and were even more excited with their findings. In addition to not perishing, they discovered that the fungi actually grows towards the radiation, as if attracted to it. This is because of its large amounts of melanin - the pigment which turns skin dark - and allows the fungi to absorb normally harmful rays which it then converts into chemical energy. In the same way in which plants convert carbon dioxide and chlorophyll into oxygen and glucose via photosynthesis, the fungi sapped up deadly rays which allowed it to produce energy. This process - hailed radiosynthesis - has captured the attention of scientists because of its potentially revolutionary implications. Kasthuri Venkateswaran, a research scientist at NASA who is leading the experiments on the Cryptococcus neoformans fungi, believes that by extracting its radiation-absorbing power and manufacturing it in drug form, it could be used as a 'sun block' against toxic rays.”

The Flatulence of Wind Turbines By James Reed

I hate the way most environmentalists propose that 100 percent renewable energy will solve everything. Heck, making the renewables itself is a high entropy producing act:
  https://www.msn.com/en-us/finance/markets/wind-turbine-blades-can-e2-80-99t-be-recycled-so-they-e2-80-99re-piling-up-in-landfills/ar-BBZFHsw

“A wind turbine’s blades can be longer than a Boeing 747 wing, so at the end of their lifespan they can’t just be hauled away. First, you need to saw through the lissome fiberglass using a diamond-encrusted industrial saw to create three pieces small enough to be strapped to a tractor-trailer. The municipal landfill in Casper, Wyoming, is the final resting place of 870 blades whose days making renewable energy have come to end. The severed fragments look like bleached whale bones nestled against one another. “That’s the end of it for this winter,” said waste technician Michael Bratvold, watching a bulldozer bury them forever in sand. “We’ll get the rest when the weather breaks this spring.” Tens of thousands of aging blades are coming down from steel towers around the world and most have nowhere to go but landfills. In the U.S. alone, about 8,000 will be removed in each of the next four years. Europe, which has been dealing with the problem longer, has about 3,800 coming down annually through at least 2022, according to BloombergNEF. It’s going to get worse: Most were built more than a decade ago, when installations were less than a fifth of what they are now. Built to withstand hurricane-force winds, the blades can’t easily be crushed, recycled or repurposed. That’s created an urgent search for alternatives in places that lack wide-open prairies.

The Lost Anglo-Saxon Monastery By Richard Miller

Some interesting part of our heritage may have been uncovered; the coronation place of Edgar the Peaceful:
  https://www.livescience.com/lost-monastery-discovered-england-first-king-coronation.html

“Newly unearthed remains may come from the monastery where England's first king, Edgar the Peaceful, was coronated more than 1,000 years ago, according to Wessex Archaeology, an archaeological company and charity in England. The so-called smoking gun emerged during an excavation at the famous Bath Abbey, ahead of planned renovations there. During the excavation, archaeologists were surprised to find hints of Anglo-Saxon architecture in two structures next to the abbey. These are the first known Anglo-Saxon structures in all of Bath, a city that was founded by the Roman Empire and that is known for its thermal hot springs. The two apsidal (semicircular) structures, or apses, were found below street level, underneath what once made up the cloisters of the 12th-century cathedral built over Romano-British deposits. The cathedral is just south of the abbey church. After finding the Anglo-Saxon stone structures, archaeologists used a method called radiocarbon dating on charcoal found in some of the plaster of one of these apses. Since scientists know the rate of decay of radioactive carbon, they can use that to infer how long an object has been in the ground. The charcoal dated to 780-970 and 670-770, Wessex Archaeology found. This time window suggests that the abbey was once part of the Anglo-Saxon monastery where Edgar was coronated, in 973.

Update on the 5G War By Brian Simpson

Here are two good articles, detailing how the global elite are using advanced technology for increasing social control and power. The problem is that this techy is what is known as a “social trap,” something that catches people and becomes stuck to them, so that they are dependent upon it, even thought there was once a world not too long ago without it. That makes it particularly difficult to oppose technological advances which are clearly having the majority benefit to the elites, creating a technocracy. It is far from clear how this can be fought, other than a purge of the entire system, which is not going to happen soon. There is remarkedly little written about the strategy of opposing technocracy, but much about its evils. We need to begin to think critically about science and technology, which have become modern gods, delivering the goodies by magic to the sheeple who mindless, or almost mindlessly, consume.

What Japan Should do with the Fukushima Waste By James Reed

Japan at present is very generous in pumping nuclear waste from the Fukushima power station into the public commons of the ocean. We will all thank them for turning us into Marvel superheroes in the future, but in the meantime, surely there are better ways of using this valuable resource? How about canning it, maybe in ultra-thick lead cans, and making some sort of soda pop out of it, with photos of pretty anime girls all over the lead can?
  https://www.independent.co.uk/environment/japan-nuclear-waste-fukushima-power-station-tsunami-water-sea-olympics-a9312246.html?utm_source=reddit.com?utm_source=amerika.org

“Massive amounts of radioactive water being stored at Japan’s Fukushima power plant could be released into the sea under plans provisionally accepted by the country’s government. Tokyo Electric has collected nearly 1.2 million tonnes of contaminated water from cooling pipes used to keep fuel cores from melting since the plant was devastated by the earthquake and tsunami which hit eastern Japan in 2011. The water, containing 62 radioactive elements, is stored in huge tanks on the site of the now disabled power plant, but Tokyo Electric has said it will run out of room to store the water by 2022. The water has been treated and Tokyo Electric said it is able to remove all radioactive particles from the water to levels not harmful to humans, except tritium, an isotope of hydrogen which is more difficult to separate from water. A panel of experts working for Japan’s economy and industry ministry concluded that letting the water run into the sea was the best option after looking at other proposals. The only other viable option considered was to let the water evaporate.”

Boy, You’ve Got to Carry that Weight! By James Reed

Good old Scomo, or is it Bozo, our prime monster, sorry, minister, is not taking any of this climate change nonsense, and has said that we in Oz are already carrying our weight on carbon emissions.
  https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2020/jan/29/australia-already-carrying-its-load-on-emissions-and-must-adapt-to-warmer-climate-pm-says

“The prime minister, Scott Morrison, has rejected suggestions Australia could increase its international advocacy on climate change, saying the country is already “carrying its load” and must adapt to a warmer climate regardless of emissions policy. After indicating that the government would “evolve” its climate change policies to address heightened concerns about the role of global warming in Australia’s ongoing bushfire crisis, Morrison used a keynote speech at the National Press Club on Wednesday to talk up the government’s current policies, including its emission reduction targets. “We know that Australia on its own cannot control the world’s climate as Australia accounts for just 1.3% of global emissions,” Morrison said. “We also know that no fire event can be attributed to the actions of any one country on emissions reduction. But Australia must play its part and we are playing our part. Taking action is agreed – our action, though, is a balanced and responsible emissions reduction plan. “The science tells us the effects of emissions already in the atmosphere will continue to be felt in coming decades, even under the most ambitious global emissions reduction scenarios.” When asked if the government could “step up and advocate” for more ambitious global action on climate change given its role as a “proud middle power”, Morrison said Australia was already doing enough. “Australia is carrying its load and more. We are doing what you would expect a country like Australia to do, but what I won’t do is this: I am not going to sell out Australians – I am not going to sell out Australians based on the calls from some to put higher taxes on them or push up their electricity prices or to abandon their jobs and their industries,” he said. The prime minister also said the government’s target of a cut of 26% to 28% of 2005 emission levels by 2030 was “set”, but he repeated claims that Australia was on track to “meet and beat” its target.  Department of Environment data suggests national emissions will be 16% below 2005 levels by 2030, well short of the minimum 26% goal. The government is using carryover credits from the Kyoto protocol to make up the difference.”

Why Should I Care if All the Insects Die? By James Reed

Suffering form conservation/diversity overload, news of the insects dying out, just bores me, when Northern Europeans are set to die out, in the Great Replacement. Why, I am dying out now, too poor to even get my teeth fixed, swallowing cheap painkillers all day.  Should I really care what survives? OK, there will be famine from lack of plant fertilisation, disruption to the ecosystems and other roll-on effects, if we can believe the so-called science, but since much of it comes from the UN and globalists, I am honour bound to reject the claims without reading them, just as our claims are ignored.
  https://www.dw.com/en/insect-apocalypse-dying-ecosystem-species-loss-a-52160360/a-52160360

“Conservationists say fears of an insect apocalypse, Armageddon and absolute extinction are overblown, but acting now could save populations that are plummeting. Seven 'no-regret' actions could rescue insects on the road to extinction, a new roadmap for conservation says, helping ecosystems even where a lack of research means scientists cannot prove benefits to individual species. Earth's biodiversity is declining at unprecedented rates but population data on insects — which are small, diverse and abundant — is patchy. Instead of waiting to fill knowledge gaps, 75 experts writing in the journal Nature Ecology and Evolution are calling for immediate actions that also improve ecosystems and wider society. Short-term measures such as phasing out pesticides and diversifying farmland could set struggling insect species on a path to recovery while better data is collected. "We reap what we sow," said Jeff Harvey, ecologist at the Netherlands Institute of Ecology and lead author of the roadmap. "It's a no-brainer that decline of insects will affect other species in the food chain… We can't just put little bandages on this." 'Insectageddon' Last year, a global review published in the journal Biological Conservation spawned headlines heralding an "insect apocalypse," "Armageddon" and "collapse of nature" when it found 40% of insect species would face the threat of extinction within decades.”

Is the Coronavirus a Bioweapon? By Brian Simpson

One conspiracy theory on the internet has it that like in the zombie apocalypse movies in the series Resident Evil, the coronavirus is an escaped bioweapon:
  https://www.zerohedge.com/economics/real-umbrella-corp-wuhan-ultra-biohazard-lab-was-studying-worlds-most-dangerous-pathogens

“In February 2017, Nature penned an extensive profile of what it called the "Chinese lab poised to study world's most dangerous pathogens." The location of this BSL-4 rated lab? Why, Wuhan. A quick read of what this lab was meant to do, prompts the immediate question whether the coronavirus epidemic isn't a weaponized virus that just happened to escape the lab: The Wuhan lab cost 300 million yuan (US$44 million), and to allay safety concerns it was built far above the flood plain and with the capacity to withstand a magnitude-7 earthquake, although the area has no history of strong earthquakes. It will focus on the control of emerging diseases, store purified viruses and act as a World Health Organization ‘reference laboratory’ linked to similar labs around the world. “It will be a key node in the global biosafety-lab network,” says lab director Yuan Zhiming. The Chinese Academy of Sciences approved the construction of a BSL-4 laboratory in 2003, and the epidemic of SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) around the same time lent the project momentum. The lab was designed and constructed with French assistance as part of a 2004 cooperative agreement on the prevention and control of emerging infectious diseases. But the complexity of the project, China’s lack of experience, difficulty in maintaining funding and long government approval procedures meant that construction wasn’t finished until the end of 2014.

UFOs and Nukes By Brian Simpson

When working in dark depressing places that we work on, day after day, week after week, eventually either your mind explodes or you start wandering. It has happened to me; I got to doing some research on UFOs and nuclear weapons. I mean if the little green men are out there, watching us, and stealing our cattle, as well as probing human digestive systems, which, after all, is what an intelligent life form would be eager to do after travelling through wormholes to reach Earth, nuclear weapons might cause them some concern. Well, the short of the long, after one goes through all of this, maybe dozing off a few times, is that the green men are concerned about nukes, and have the techy to deactivate them.

“Whatever the mysterious lights in the sky were, they seemed to have an interest in our nukes. One of the more out-of-the-ordinary press conferences held in Washington this week consisted of former Air Force personnel testifying to the existence of UFOs and their ability to neutralize American and Russian nuclear missiles. UFO researcher Robert Hastings of Albuquerque, N.M., who organized the National Press Club briefing, said more than 120 former service members had told him they'd seen unidentified flying objects near nuclear weapon storage and testing grounds. Star & Stripes quoted former Air Force Capt. Robert Salas, who was at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana in 1967 when 10 ICMs he was overseeing suddenly became inoperative - at the same time base security informed him of a mysterious red glowing object in the sky. Robert Jamison, a retired USAF nuclear missile targeting officer, told of several occasions having to go out and "re-start" missiles that had been deactivated, after UFOs were sighted nearby. Similar sightings at nuclear sites in the former Soviet Union and in Britain were related. CBS Affiliate KSWT describes "Britain's Roswell," a case of unidentified phenomena in December 1980 incident near two Royal Air Force Bases in Suffolk, England. Several U.S. Air Force personnel reported seeing a strange metallic object hovering in Rendlesham Forest near RAF Woodbridge, and found three depressions in the ground. Speaking at Monday's press briefing, retired USAF Col. Charles Halt said that in December 1980, when he was deputy base commander at RAF Bentwaters, strange lights in the forest were investigated by three patrolmen. Halt said they reported approaching a triangular craft, "approximately three meters on a side, dark metallic in appearance with strange markings. They were observing it for a period of time, and then it very quickly and silently vanished at high speed."

Australia; Globalist and Ecologically Insane By Brian Simpson

If the coronavirus, or the next big one is any guide, Australia due to its globalism and deracination, will simply be open to wide contamination. Maybe a good plague might wake up those who survive, but I doubt it:
  https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7950429/Where-Australians-risk-exposed-deadly-coronavirus-disease-spreads.html?ico=pushly-notifcation-small

“Australia's gateways, major tourist destinations, universities and suburbs in Sydney and Melbourne with large numbers of Chinese have emerged as the frontline in the fight against deadly coronavirus. Authorities are closely watching key meeting places around the country for signs of outbreaks as the World Health Organisation declares a global public health emergency. Fears are held thousands of Australians could have been unwittingly exposed to the virus in airplanes, restaurants and shopping centres by nine confirmed infected patients. And every week up to 49,000 people are landing in Australia on 167 flights from China, where 170 are dead and more than 7,700 infected. Many of those arriving are heading to holidays spots such as the Gold Coast, visiting family and friends in suburban Sydney and Melbourne or returning to east coast universities. But first they must come through the international airports, where checks have already been rolled out for those arriving from all Chinese cities.

Our House is Still on Fire? I Still Make Angry Faces By James Reed

The little climate princess, with the angry screwed up face … and who would not be angry if they sincerely believed what she, obviously sincerely, but naively believes, was at Davos, ripping into the elite for doing nothing about climate change. What! Nothing! Doesn’t Princess Greta know that as part of the New World Order global conspiracy by the Forces of Darkness, for the destruction of all that is good, that the money elite are doing plenty, using climate change to smash everything they don’t want to survive?
  https://www.zerohedge.com/energy/climate-puppet-greta-thunberg-shames-davos-attendees-doing-nothing

“Greta Thunberg did exactly as expected at Davos - delivering her trademark public shaming to the world's most rich and powerful (non-Chinese) leaders gathered on the icy slopes of the Swiss Alps. "Our house is still on fire," the 17-year-old told the World Economic Forum. "Your inaction is fueling the flames by the hour." "I wonder, what will you tell your children was the reason to fail and leave them facing the climate chaos you knowingly brought upon them?" she added, delivering a verbal flagellation to elite climate sinners that want to repent - as long as they can brand themselves as 'green' and make hand-over-fist in the process. Thunberg is pushing immediate, radical change in order to achieve 'net zero' carbon emissions by 2050, along with the planting of 1 trillion trees to offset pollution, in order to keep temperatures from rising beyond 1.5 degrees from preindustrial levels. She and a group of young climate activists have called on private investors and governments to immediately halt exploration for fossil fuels, to stop funding their production, to end taxpayer subsidies for the industry and to fully divest their existing stakes in the sector. -NYT "Let’s be clear. We don’t need a ‘low carbon economy.’ We don’t need to ‘lower emissions,’" Thunberg told the audience. "Our emissions have to stop."

Run for the Hills: Survivalism Going Mainstream By John Steele

This will be my last article for a while, if things go super-pear shaped with the big virus doing the rounds at the moment and it is The End Of The World As We Know It (TEOTWAWKI), I do not want to be in the Melbourne. Well, maybe not until civilisation is rebuilt. Anyway, I have my supplies, a new Bowie knife with a 12-inch blade, and Cold Steel machete with a 24-inch blade, just as someone named “Steele” would have, so I will be going even deeper into the scrub, bugging out in, my army tent. No nasty bugs here, just clean sunlight, and plenty of heat, but I love the peace and solitude, my version of Walden. Just ask the Americans:
  http://news.trust.org/item/20200127092603-ks7hg

“Cheap housing, deep unease and intense resilience - all forces that are driving a clutch of Americans to swap city life for a fresh start off grid and far from civilisation. Some are survivalists, among them high fliers who fear a looming, urban catastrophe and the mayhem that might follow. Others want a greener, gentler life untainted by the malign forces of capitalism and uncertainty of mainstream politics. Whichever camp, realtors say the new dropouts are not "crackpots" and often include affluent professionals whose run for the hills has boosted rural land values and started to change their property market. "I've had hedge-fund managers and billionaires that have made purchases, and they all have concerns about the direction of the economy and social stability," said John E. Haynes, president of Retreat Realty in North Carolina. "We're on that upward trend," he said. "Inventory of that land on the market is tighter." Haynes has worked in real estate for decades. About four years ago, he rebranded his company to pitch property to a new and growing breed of buyer - those motivated by "concerns about social stability". The UN’s Climate Agenda By James Reed

No stone is being left unturned in the drive to polish off white Western civilisation. It has been going on for at least a century, accelerating since the 1960s. The latest “bring ‘em in” strategy from the UN is climate refugees:

“The world needs to prepare for millions of people being driven from their homes by the impact of climate change, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees said on Tuesday. Speaking to Reuters at the World Economic Forum, Filippo Grandi said a UN ruling this week meant those fleeing as a result of climate change deserved international protection, and that it had broad implications for governments. The UN Human Rights Committee made the landmark ruling on Monday in relation to Ioane Teitiota, from the Pacific nation of Kiribati, who brought a case against New Zealand after authorities denied his claim of asylum. We must be prepared for a large surge of people moving against their will.- Filippo Grandi,  UN High Commissioner for Refugees "The ruling says if you have an immediate threat to your life due to climate change, due to the climate emergency, and if you cross the border and go to another country, you should not be sent back, because you would be at risk of your life, just like in a war or in a situation of persecution," Grandi said. "We must be prepared for a large surge of people moving against their will," he said. "I wouldn't venture to talk about specific numbers, it's too speculative, but certainly we're talking about millions here."

The Global Elite Burns Down Australia, because of, Well, Conspiracy Inc. By James Reed

Here is the long-awaited conspiracy view of the Australian bushfires, by Richard Wolstencroft, Report from Tiger Mountain (20), who argues that the globalist elite may have been deliberately getting these fires lit. Now, as a League of Righter, I naturally gravitate to conspiracy theories, because the alternative is either randomness, that things just happen, the “idiot theory of history,” as Eric Butler once described it. The main argument made by Richard is that it is highly suspicious that, given the sheer numbers of fires, said to be deliberately lit, there has been no media exposure of who is lighting them, beyond one report of two 12-year-old boys. It can’t be young boys lighting up the whole coastal areas of Australia.
