Here Comes the Australia Card Again By James Reed

mThe political class have really wanted a national ID card, as it is just the thing which any fashionable authoritarian anti-freedom government has. This card was defeated in the past, but now it is coming back, like a zombie, to eat the flesh of our freedom:
http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/nsw/id-card-back-on-agenda-in-national-security-overhaul/news-story/68b6a39817cf4b59c6fed03c7129f058
This time round terrorism is being used to scare us into adopting this most un-Australian of documents, and Pauline Hanson has fallen for the need for it, because of her knee-jerk fear of terrorism and welfare fraud:
http://www.couriermail.com.au/news/queensland/one-nations-pauline-hanson-pushing-for-national-id-card-to-combat-welfare-fraud/news-story/518510e317397482ab904bdf07a89fad
It will do nothing of the sort, and is useless against home-grown terrorism. They will just commit terrorism, with their ID card in their back pocket.
Contact Pauline and tell her to wake up to the loss of freedom which this ID card is going to bring. We will join the family of Islamic and Middle Eastern countries in having this, and where it does nothing to stop terrorism.

The Feminist Left and Sharia Law By Mrs Vera West

An interesting article at https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/10754/europe-sharia-law, details how Europe is adopting sharia law. In particular, the area which this is occurring is centred around women. Here is a key extract:

“Within days after the Islamic State conquered the city of Sirte in Libya two years ago, enormous billboards appeared in the Islamist stronghold warning women they must wear baggy robes that cover their entire bodies, and no perfume. These “sharia stipulations for hijab” included wearing dense material and a robe that does not “resemble the attire of unbelievers”.
Two years later, Europe’s three most important cities -- London, Paris and Berlin -- are adopting the same sharia trend.
Paris has said au revoir to “sexist” ads on public billboards. The Paris city council announced its ban after the Socialist Mayor Anne Hidalgo said the move meant that Paris was “leading the way” in the fight against sexism.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan also banned advertisements that promote “unrealistic expectations of women’s body image and health”.
Now Berlin is planning to ban images in which women are portrayed as “beautiful but weak, hysterical, dumb, crazy, naive, or ruled by their emotions”. Der Tagesspiegel’s Harald Martenstein said the policy “could have been adopted from the Taliban manifesto”.
The irony is that this wave of morality and “virtue” is coming from cities governed by uninhibited leftist politicians, who for years campaigned for sexual liberation.
There is a reason for this grotesque campaign banning these images. These cities host significant Muslim populations; and politicians -- the same who frantically are enacting mandatory multiculturalism -- want to please “Islam”. It is now a “feminist” talking point to advocate sharia policy, as does Linda Sarsour. The result is that, today, few feminists dare to criticize Islam.
It is happening everywhere. Dutch municipalities are “advising” their employees to not wear mini-skirts. There are women-only hours at Swedish swimming pools. German schools are sending letters to parents asking children to avoid wearing “revealing clothes”.
The first to suggest calling for a ban on posters or advertisements that “reduce women or men to sexual objects” was German Justice Minister Heiko Maas, a Social Democrat.”

Grenades! Now That’s Real Vibrancy and Vibration For You! By Peter West

Forget about knife and car attacks, Sweden, a once Nordic country, now has embraced further diversity and  pluralism, with an increase in – yes, you guessed it – grenade attacks! Here is a reliable true news source on this one:

“The number of hand grenade attacks in Sweden has risen by 550 per cent in just three years, with police describing the situation as “completely unacceptable”.
Police data shows that in 2014 the Swedish force investigated eight grenade incidents, none of which involved a detonation.  But last year this figure inflated by a massive 550 per cent, as officers saw a total of 52 grenade-related incidents, 27 of which involved detonations.
At first, the grenade attacks were mostly directed at cars and homes linked to criminals and their relatives  — but from two years ago perpetrators began to target the nation’s “society and state”, an expert at Sweden’s National Police Department told SVT.”

High Tech Homelessness By Uncle Len, the Low Tech Homeless

As a symbolic representation of the existential homelessness of modern Western man, I am always on the lookout for material to tell you about that affirms my raison d’etre, a word which I found on-line, but don’t know the meaning of, having no meaning or point for my existence.

Anyway, I am getting off topic, which for me is remarkable. But, what was my topic? Think, Len, think. Your fans expect a lot from you, like coherence and all that. Now I remember, I have re-read my title….high tech homelessness. You see the high tech elite at Silicon Valley, which is, I suppose, an entire valley full of silicon, are living in their cars because of the high cost of living. HA! HA, again. Why don’t they just clean up all the silicon and make homes for people? Or, bring in more migrants, who through their economic magic will make even more homes?

Speak Now or Lose Your Freedom By Bernard Gaynor

In news that should worry all Australians, the Coalition government has today told public servants that they can be sacked for their political opinions.  From The Australian:

The Turnbull government will today seek to impose restrictions on public servants criticising the Coalition on social media, warning that employees risk disciplinary action for “liking” anti-government posts or privately emailing negative material to a friend from home.
Documents obtained by The Australian show public servants would also be warned they could be in breach of the public service code of conduct if they do not remove “nasty comments” about the government posted by others on the employee’s Facebook page.
You can read the new guidelines here.

A Ripper Anti-Immigration Article By James Reed

A recent article has noted that about sixty percent of US respondents in two surveys want to stop all legal and illegal immigration. The polls, which gave people the freedom to voice their real thoughts, surprisingly showed that white American college graduates are more, not less, opposed to immigration than the average American. Almost three-of-four white liberals hide their preference for zero net immigration, and they are more likely than moderates and conservatives in doing this. In fact, 71 percent of liberals support immigration restriction. That is good, but it will do nothing unless these people take action, and they are unlikely to do so, because it would threaten their jobs and creature comforts.

Now to Australia. An article in Quadrant, July 26, 2017, E. R. Drabik, “The Great Immigration Non-Debate,” https://quadrant.org.au/opinion/qed/2017/07/great-immigration-non-debate/, points out that Australia is going in the opposite direction of much of the West, which has questioned continual mass migration, at least to some degree. Australia is accelerating its immigration like there is no tomorrow, because there probably won’t be at this rate:

Foreign Graduates and Unemployment By James Reed

Migrants in Australia, we are told, have delivered an almost four-fold increase in employment growth between 2011 and 2016: The Australian, July 21, 2017, p. 7.  It though is a Ponzi scheme, with the growth being caused by migrants anyway, who tend to be put into what jobs are available. The claim is made that the only jobs lost are those of the unskilled, but this is manifestly untrue, because local skilled also miss out, such as some university graduates.

For example, the new class elites want to see international students working in the state even before they finish their studies: The Australian July 19, 2017, p. 27.  These jobs will be lost to locals, and it is just magical thinking to suppose that the flow of money spent by international students will create new jobs. There is considerable flexibility in the economy to absorb workers, and to not require more for increased output. More efficiency is simply squeezed out of existing workers. Thus, increased student loads is met by making young PHDers work harder, not by increasing the number of jobs. The money just goes as profit:

Cory's Weekly Dose

Australian Conservative, Senator Cory Bernardi, in his “Weekly Dose of Common Sense” shows the real agenda behind Free Trade Agreements and how the UN has morphed into a type of World Government.

He wrote, in part ………………

“As I told the crowd of over 450 people in Brisbane last night, it doesn’t mean any one of us has all the answers. Individually, we bring our unique gifts and skills and talents into the battle of ideas. But together, those gifts complement each other and strengthen our capabilities. Through working together, our individual differences become a source of strength rather than isolation.
That’s what being a community is all about. It’s that sense of belonging and contributing to something bigger than oneself that strengthens families, clubs, cities and nations. It strengthens political parties too.
However, all communities need ties that bind. They need the thread of continuity that runs through all so that we may be drawn together.
At the most basic level that thread is familial. In a political party it is idea, vision and values. As a nation, it is culture.
Culture is our language, our traditions, our laws and our expectations of each other. It emerges over successive generations, each one building upon the previous, bringing us ever closer.
Except that’s not what’s happening now. There is a new force at work within our culture. It isn’t of us and it isn’t working for us. Many refer to it as globalisation but it can take on many monikers.
Despite the reckoning of many pundits, globalisation isn’t about free trade or international markets. Those forces can and do work to our advantage. They provide local businesses with export opportunities and local consumers with a broader range of more competitively-priced goods.
Rather, globalisation is a direct attack on our national sovereignty and self-determination.
It sees unelected bureaucrats in supra-national bodies influencing our domestic agenda through groupthink, peer pressure and intimidation.
The best example is the United Nations. Formed in 1945 for the purpose of preventing another world war through dialogue, it now sees itself as a quasi-world government.
It dictates refugee policy, spruiks the great global warming scam, redefines marriage, smoking policy and so many other virtue-signalling and identity-politics agendas that it has simply become a vehicle for the globalists to push their view.
The UN’s stacked resolutions and dodgy reports are used by political outfits like the Greens to undermine our domestic policy agenda in favour of someone else’s.
These people truly believe they are the enlightened powers that should be running a world of open borders and wealth redistribution in order to save us all. Perhaps that should be ‘enslave’ us all.
It’s time for that to change. We need to reassert our self-determination. That means we need to revisit the treaties, agreements and pacts of decades past to make sure they are working in our interest.
Let’s review them to see if they are achieving what we thought they would. We could start with the UNHCR refugee treaty. It was written in 1951 and the driving forces and key players have changed since then.
Just as every prudent person would insist that every contract has a termination or review date, so too should we insist on reviewing our government’s international agreements at regular intervals.
It will help ensure a check is kept on the agenda that is intent on diminishing, rather than strengthening Australia.”…

I wonder of the Australian Conservatives have a firm position to introduce Citizens Initiative and Referenda as a "core" (non-redactable) policy-ed

Lock Up Your Cash, When Kid Soros Rides into Town! By Charles Taylor

Billionaire globalist, George Soros, who must be close to 4,000 years of age, is working on eliminating paper money as part of his plot to create a single world government: http://www.wuc-news.com/2017/07/soros-ill-eliminate-cash-for-new-world.html.
This comes, allegedly from a Soros-insider, who has said that young handsome George wants to end the use of anonymous cash and have all payments monitored by the state. Wouldn’t be nice for our side to have even one person with his infinite energy and abilities?

This does seem to fit the picture. The Indians, in the first New World Order trial run, withdrew 86 percent of the cash in circulation and put a cap on cash transactions, as has been done in France. The European Union is moving towards eliminating cash altogether: https://www.infowars.com/soros-insider-banks-ending-cash-to-establish-world-government/.

The Shape of Dumpsters to Come By Uncle Len, the Dumpster Diving Champ

Many centuries ago, I grew up on a pig farm in Queensland. My old man, who was a bigger drunk than even I would be, decided that it would make sense to feed the pigs on food scraps from supermarkets, stores and even fish shops, to have more money for booze.  So, after school, in my school uniform, we would go and collect the waste, tipping the scraps onto the tray of an old FC Holden (remember them?) ute. Kids would viciously humiliate me, identifying me as filth and scrap. My father enjoyed this, sitting in the car, having yet another beer, in anticipation of the big drinking session with his mates after about 5.30 pm, once the 6 o’clock swill ended in the 1960s.

To save money so that the maximum amount of alcohol could be consumed, we ate what scraps we could salvage from the ute. I did grow food when I got older, and searched for wild bush food and shot the odd bunny, so eventually this humiliation was phased out, especially after I refused to help any more, after I stuck up for my mother in conversation against him while we were at a farmer’s supply centre, and he struck me in the head with a large padlock, leading me unconscious to die on the railway track. When I regained consciousness, I ran into the centre, where he was having a beer with some guys, and hit him in the nose with all my might, then ran. That was my first night on the streets, the start of lifetime of homelessness.  Life is wonderful, isn’t it?

Letter to The Editor - Look again at Douglas Social Credit

to THE AGE
Many voices in the letters column (4/7) are worried about the growth of world population, Melbourne’s burgeoning size and our increasingly deficient infrastructure. Public opposition to further immigration is growing. What to do?
Is it possible that one cause of the growing problem is the kind of financial system operating in the world, which appears to be controlled by the super-wealthy?  It seems that many Australian businesses are forced to support increased immigration in order to survive financially, even though their owners know that long term this is against the interest of the whole population. Should we look again at Douglas social credit and other proposals for reform of the money system?

The Muhammad Ali Principle: A Multicultural Argument against Multiracialism and Race Mixing By Peter J. White PhD

Here I will tackle a topic that conservatives fear to talk about: race mixing, developing an argument best expressed by the late former heavy-weight boxing champion of the world, Muhammad Ali.

Those who write about this from the right tend to be somewhat extreme, if not hateful, but I will show that there is a “multicultural” approach to the question, which does not depend upon hate at all. For a scholarly introduction to the political correctness of race mixing see Peter Frost, Fair Women, Dark Men: The Forgotten Roots of Color Prejudice, (Cybereditions, 2005), where the title says it all. For a more sober overview: W. B. Provine, “Geneticists and the Biology of Race Crossing,” Science, vol. 182, 1973, pp. 790-796.

Fertile, Educated Asians are Replacing Us By Peter West

As written about previously at this site by yours truly: https://blog.alor.org/index.php/mass-immigration-benign-anglo-saxon-genocideby-peter-west, the elites have been over-joyed about the Census results showing a further decline in traditional Anglo- Australia, and Christianity.

In my article I argued that the common-sense view from the street, not reflected in so-called official statistics, is that Australia is already heading to White minority status, and that Anglo-Saxons are definitely a minority now. Asian immigration has already begun to replace even the traditional elites and professionals: https://www.bookdepository.com/Howard-Legacy-Peter-Wilkinson/9780980400809. The White new class welcome this trend and intend to do everything in their power to push it through to completion.

Economic Collapse Updated Again: Have We Collapsed Yet? How about Now? By James Reed

Be patient little Hobbits, the collapse of this dark system will take place in due course. It will not fall away until it is ready, and the white ants of destiny have eaten their fill.
For example, Venezuela’s already currency collapse is getting worse, with the bolivar in free fall. There are shortages of basics, and violence is on the rise: http://money.cnn.com/2017/06/28/news/economy/venezuela-currency-collapse/index.html, with complete economic collapse only a few non-shopping days away: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2016/01/29/venezuela-is-on-the-brink-of-a-complete-collapse/?utm_term=.9559bcdfaa35.

The economic contagion is likely to spread throughout the region: http://www.breitbart.com/radio/2017/06/29/john-bolton-instability-venezuela-spread-throughout-region/. Who knows where it will lead, a kind of zombie apocalypse of financial contamination, that only a global world could produce.

Feminist Magazine Demands White Women Abort Their Babies to Solve Racism

Ref: https://medusamagazine.com/beyond-pro-choice-the-solution-to-white-supremacy-is-white-abortion

Response from Wallace Klinck Canada:
This “feminist” article just goes to illustrate how distorted and destructive these hate-filled Marxist agitators are and the lengths to which they will go in inciting animosity and violence in response to almost any concocted issue they can create and use as a target of their vitriol to perpetuate the “class war”. They are never satisfied until they cause resentment, conflict and civil war.  A nasty bunch.
It is sad that some people actually fall victim to their noxious and deceptive propaganda which is designed not to build but to tear down.
These are the anti-culturalists and anti-humans who are motivated by pure and perpetual envy.  Any advance to a new level of development is automatically branded by Marxists as exploitation of the “oppressed” and as “racism” or some other in an ever expanding list of allegedly antisocial “isms”.
They are monomaniacs who seek absolute “equality” in an totally egalitarian society and anyone who rises above their static and frozen social order is automatically branded as an exploiter who must be “stealing” from others.
These people are obviously suffering from a psychological and spiritual pathology.  They are incapable of love and are envious of anyone who is able to access or experience it, who they brand as “haters."  Their immediate impulse is to destroy the object of their jealousy.
They posture as “progressives” but actually hate abundance and prosperity because they see them as a threat to their endless and consuming revolutionary struggle—which is actually a relentless struggle for power over the rest of humanity.

Save the Whale but Not the Nordic By Brian Simpson

This title comes from a book written by a concerned Aussie about the race issue, which I unfortunately cannot now locate, and there does not appear to be an internet trace of it. But, the argument is, I recall: why bother about preserving natural diversity of species and races/sub-species, if this is not applied to humans as well? Does it really matter if the genetic integrity and purity of say, American bison, is preserved: http://www.theoccidentalobserver.net/2017/06/11/animal-conservation-or-bison-supremacism/? If human races are a social construct, then so too would be breeds of animals, and with some plausibility, since many breeds were constructed by human-controlled breeding programs.

Hence, if biology is to be discounted, doused and denounced: http://www.theoccidentalobserver.net/2017/06/06/doused-and-denounced/, there is no reason for concern about the “environment,” which is also a social construct. So must be global warming too. Even if it existed, as a social construct, we could just define it away. Easy.
Sociological relativism is such fun; far more interesting than reality, and almost as magical as Harry Potter.

Humans are Wired for Tribalism By Brian Simpson

     N. A. Christakis and J. H. Fowler, “Friendship and Natural Selection,” Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, July 22, 2014, present evidence that friends tend to exhibit “homophily” (“love of the same”) in their genotypes. Cutting to the chase, people in general tend to have racial kin as part of their friendship networks. Sure, there is variation to this, as there must be with any statistical generalisation, but, birds of a feather, really do flock together.

US surveys show that Americans certainly choose racial kin as friends:
https://www.prri.org/research/poll-race-religion-politics-americans-social-networks/. As stated in an article covering this, “the average black person’s friend network is eight percent white, but the average white person’s network is only one percent black. To put it another way: Blacks have ten times as many black friends as white friends. But white Americans have an astonishing 91 times as many white friends as black friends.
There are a number of factors driving these numbers. Simple population counts are one of them: There are more white people than black people in the United States, so it makes sense that the average American is going to have more white friends than black friends.

There is Already Blood By James Reed

Alt Right and White nationalist intellectuals such as Peter Brimelow, have said that the present cultural war will lead to blood, and in fact, it already has: https://www.vdare.com/articles/it-will-come-to-blood-reflections-on-the-lefts-anti-trump-inauguration-tantrum?redirect=http://www.vdare.com/articles/it-will-come-to-blood-reflections-on-the-lefts-anti-trump-inauguration-tantrum.

Greg Sheridan, “Patriotism and Resentment Could have Us Seeing Red,” The Australian, June 22, 2017, p. 12, http://www.theaustralian.com.au/opinion/columnists/greg-sheridan/patriotism-and-resentment-could-have-us-seeing-red/news-story/fe3f35e28ac4440436690ad3f708e183,  says that the “will be blood thesis” is a bit early, but the bulk of his article shows that it is already happening. Here are some extracts from an insightful article.
Note that the point of this is to show that some of the things said at this site are, after some delay, also now being said in the mainstream media, not because we are influencing them, or that they care a jot what we say, but because external circumstances make such matters impossible not to notice. I think the League writers have been the first in Australia to predict the “there will be blood” theme, while the mainstream media, and some freedom types were still thinking about economics and growth, and strategies and theories time-locked in an age that has now passed.
