The NZ experience of a Treaty, with respect to the “original” people, would hold up as a working wonder of what should be done everywhere . It is constantly presented as having been a huge success. But the reality is that billions of dollars have gone to “settlements” which are endless and the vast majority of maori never have and never will see a cent of any of it.
Besides this, there are unelected maori advisers on the larger city councils and the costs of such are never revealed.

In several areas of Auckland (and perhaps elsewhere) property developers and home owners need a consent from the “local iwi” to make certain alterations to the property or dwelling. Usually this means a cash payment of several hundred dollars to the tribal “representative”. And who knows how much later on. Waterways and harbours are also in the pipe line for maori “representatives” to decide what does or doesn’t happen here.

Vladimir Putin has used his annual Christmas press conference to accuse Western liberal elites of abandoning the traditional values that made their countries great. Instead of building a future based on solid Christian values, Western elites have created a culture of “excessive, exaggerated political correctness” that is so destructive it will lead to the downfall of Western civilization if it is not arrested.

In India 90 percent of all transactions are by cash. But the government, in a plan so secret that even India’s financial institutions were unprepared, suddenly banned its 500-rupee and 1,000-rupee bills, worth $US 7.50 and $US 15 respectively. This led to poor people having to go back to barter, if they could.
This shows that governments could outlaw cash overnight, even in Australia. However, willing members of the legal profession could immediately initiate action in our High Court of Australia to pull the federal government back to order using our constitution as the supreme law of the land.

The social credit writers of the League have been producing some very good work on dealing with the issue of the 'end of work'. Here I simply want to mention that I am seeing more material published on this in the mainstream press, which is no doubt a testing ground for what is to come.
There have been reviews of a new book on this topic by Tim Dunlop, Why the Future is Workless, (New South, 2016). Neo-liberalism combined with robotics has created a new class of people, the “precariat,” to use economist Guy Standing’s term. These people have uncertain part-time or short-term work, and consequently an uncertain future. And the class of the precariat will grow, with Oxford University researchers predicting that 47 percent of existing jobs will disappear in the next 20 years.
As an example, just around the corner, 3D printers might “print” out an entire house!

To deal with this social challenge there will need to be fundamental changes and Dunlop is sympathetic to the idea of a universal basic income. There is no mention of social credit, and the limitations of the basic income scheme have been discussed at this site.
One of the things following from the robotics revolution, ironically enough, is the end of globalism, or at least in part. Jamie Walker, “Robots Help Bring Jobs Back Home,” The Weekend Australian, November 19-20, 2016, p. 15, points out that both cheap energy and robotics will result in more reshoring because robots are cheaper than overseas workers. There will not be, though, many new jobs created, and those that are, will be essentially in getting the intelligent machines to work, if they are lucky, before even they are replaced.
Thus, we can indeed take it that work as we know it has come to an end and any discussion and future planning should proceed from that point.

And fourthly, re-educate – ensure that the climate curriculum in schools and universities is based on good science and real evidence, and not political agendas.

These four actions - de-fang, de-fund, de-staff and re-educate will cool the climate hysteria, with huge and immediate benefits for tax payers, jobs, industries and energy cost and security. It will also end the doomsday horror stories terrifying our young people. And if there is additional carbon dioxide in the air, our Earth will be greener and produce more food.

The theme discussed in articles this week – ranging from the philosophical lessons of the US election, to gun control, section 18 C and many other topics –is that “the system is rigged,” to take a meme from the present Trump debates. The idea here is that the “system” – economic, political, and cultural – has fundamental elements of corruption and deception built into it. Social creditors would not be surprised to be told this because they have been aware since at least Major Douglas’ first writings about our flawed financial/economic system, with faults ranging from the lack of purchasing power to the “black magic” creation of credit by banks out of nothing and the debt creation on financial instabilities produced by that.

However, apart from the “big picture” corruption, relating to the fundamental contradictions of the system, we continue to find every week “micro corruptions” in the economic, political and cultural systems. To name a few from economics: there is the “discovery” of a global gold price collusion, where the world’s major banks rigged the price of gold for over a decade: The Australian, October 14, 2016; A Caminschi and R. Heaney, “Fixing a Leaky Fixing: Short-Term Market Reactions to the London PM Gold Price Fixing,” The Journal of Future Markets, vol. 34, no. 11, 2014, pp. 1003–1039.
There is also the failure of politicians across the world to address the seriousness of the exploding debt crisis. While the media falls all over Hillary Clinton, bowing to her globalism, US national debt is now a crushing $US 20 trillion, as Collapse News, October 21, 2016 reports. It would take 18 months, using the entire US GDP – which is obviously impossible – to pay this debt off No-one asks: who is the debt to, and how could a nation become essentially bankrupt? Who lurks in the shadows pulling the strings?

The trouble with wind
South Australia has on average over 40 per cent of its internally generated electricity derived from wind. This is one of the highest levels in the world for a load with a relatively small interconnection with other sources (the two interconnectors with Victoria have a capacity to supply about 20 per cent of the state's needs).
Wind/solar generation has two features that are of concern.

The first is that it is intrinsically high cost. As a mature technology, it will remain three times the cost of coal powered generation in Australia. It can only compete because it is subsidised by a regulatory charge on the consumer (thereby also not facing the same scrutiny if its support was through the Budget). It receives the subsidy whenever it runs, hence wind has an incentive to generate whenever it can, forcing established fossil fuel plant to be placed offline.

Obviously with ‘tongue in cheek’ Tim Blair of The Daily Telegraph (October 4, 2016) asked the question “Is Gaia Dead?” and went on to quote James Lovelock (now 97 years of age) who recently said “Climate alarmism is not remotely scientific”. 

Of course Lovelock was not “the great planet-spirit’s creator” – it was a term he used which Geoffrey Dobbs thought was a mistake.     In Greek mythology Gaia was the mother goddess who presided over the earth. She was the mate of Uranus and the mother of the Titans and the Cyclopes.

“Faith is Fragile” wrote South Australian Senator Cori Bernardi and he says he wasn’t referring to a ‘religious’ faith.  He continued:  “Faith is fragile. Once it is lost, it is very hard to see it restored.”
“To many, the sentence above will be seen through the lens of religious faith alone, but the fragility of faith extends far beyond that realm.  Our society depends on faith; faith in our institutions and in others is the single most important ingredient that unites our society.
If we believe that our highly evolved system of interaction, discipline and ethics is working for our betterment then we are more likely to respect it. Presidential candidate Hilary Clinton has provided the whole world with a clear example of why people are losing ‘faith’ in their nation’s politicians, politics, systems and institutions – they are no longer credible!  These types are faithless to their own people, their own nation.

Weren’t lefties telling us just a week or so ago that politics should be kept out of the climate debate?

Let’s see what those same lefties have to say about this press release from Southern Cross University, which is launching some kind of Greens-breeding program in NSW schools:

Uber-globalist, Jewish billionaire investor George Soros has pledge $US 500 million in investments to assist refugees and migrants through his Open Society Foundations, a network of causes supporting globalist agendas. The main thrust of the new programme will be to assist migrants and refugees arriving in Europe, not to help them back to their homelands of course, but to settle in Europe (“the new normal”).

Along with this 51 corporations, including Facebook and Twitter, have collectively pledged $US 650 million for the same lucky folk. Again, the aim is resettlement and “integration”, not to deal with the problem which led to a majority of young men of military age who could have fought tyranny, fleeing with their mobile phones and “V” for victory signs to Europe for their safety.

I remember the fun we had as kids when the power went out. Mum would fire up the hurricane lantern and we would cook baked beans on the woodstove. It was like indoor camping, Boy’s Own Annual, and we had a great time, a true adventure in our own house!
According to my brother in South Australia, who seems to have forgotten the good times which we had as kids, South Australia’s blackout from severe storms was “frightening.” There were trees uprooted and buildings destroyed, and extensive flood damage. As well, 80,000 lightning strikes were recorded.

There is apparently now a bit of a debate about the role that renewable energy had in the blackout and the vulnerabilities created from these sources due to rapid changes from output conditions and that renewables lack a reliable baseload generation. And there is the mystery as to why power lines north of Melrose toppled down while nearby trees did not. High voltage towers survived Queensland’s cyclones but severe winds in South Australia puts the whole place back to the dark ages. Please explain.

A tremendous article by Maurice Newman (“Road to Tyranny is Paved with Leftie Assumptions,” The Australian, September 27, 2016, p. 14), deserves mention before it disappears down the memory hole.
The primarily Left Media, he says, does not publicise that in the July election almost 600,000 voters gave their first preference to Pauline Hanson’s One Nation. These are the Australian version of the “deplorables,” the term used by Hillary Clinton to dismiss the white dispossessed “uneducated.”

And Newman says that the chattering class must vilify these Australians with no debate “lest too many of us waver on the virtues of bigger government, central planning, more bloated bureaucracies, higher taxes, unaffordable welfare, a “carbon-free” economy, more regulations, open borders, gender-free and values-free schools and same-sex marriage: the sort of agenda that finds favour at the UN.”

There is a minority view among fundamentalist Christian actionists, mainly held in the United States, that the global elite are Satanic, literally, and thus have supernatural powers from the dark side. The only way of defeating them, is ultimately through the Second Coming where God (some Catholics say Mary), crushes the serpent’s head. In the meantime, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7

All that may well be so – nobody cares to invite me to any meetings of the illuminati, so I don’t know what goes on deep in the underground tunnels where these dark creatures meet.
However, in many respects, one level of the global elite, as represented by Hillary Clinton, seem to be not supernatural, but human, all too human. Clinton’s health, for example, can no longer be swept away as a right wing conspiracy concern, after she collapsed in New York over two weeks ago at a ceremony of the 15th anniversary of the twin towers collapsing. Hillary’s collapse was mysterious, due they said to overheating and pneumonia. Yes, overheating on a rather pleasant 70-degree F day. And she was then taken to her daughter’s apartment rather than a hospital, well, because everyone had been through this before, and Clinton had medical support on standby, ready for her inevitable collapse.
I like to think that this is a living metaphor for the System as a whole.

StopThese Things tells us that they hear that SA grid managers are running the system at 220V, not 230V (like the rest of Australia) in order to cope with the fluxes from wind power. It would be good to get confirmation of that. In November 2015 after a large blackout in South Australia, StopTheseThings predicted that after the coal plant was shut in April 2016, there would be statewide blackouts:

The owner of Port Augusta’s plants, Alinta has already signalled that it will close them in April 2016, due to the market distortions caused by the massive subsidies to wind power set up under the Large-Scale RET (renewable energy targets). If it does, South Australians can expect statewide blackouts with the kind of regularity that you’d be hard pressed to find outside of sub-Saharan Africa.

Australians are going to be talking about this for weeks. Indeed, the SA Blackout is the stuff of legends.
The Greens are blaming coal (what else?) for causing bad storms and blackouts. Forget that Queensland gets hit with cyclones all the time and the whole state grid doesn’t break. Some greenies are also raging against “the politicization” of the storms. Yes, Indeedy. Go tell that to Will Steffen.

We are not being told the whole story. We do know that South Australia has the highest emphasis on renewables in the world. An article in The New York Post, “These are the Signs of an Economic Collapse,”  is one of many articles appearing in the mainstream media, speculating about the long-anticipated big economic breakdown, one to dwarf the last GFC. The article gives a check lists of the signs that a crash is coming:

South Korean shipper, Hanjin, has filed for bankruptcy protection. (Collapse New.com, September 9, 2016) Hanjin handled around 8 per cent of the Trans-Pacific trade volume. As the company cannot pay its bills, most nations have not allowed its ships to dock. This means that billions of dollars of goods needed in manufacture will not be delivered unless a government bailout occurs. Whatever happens, there is likely to be a major disruption to globalism. Already freight rates are now reaching US $ 2,300 per container.

The incident shows the extreme vulnerability of the globalist experiment. Take out only a few building blocks, such as shipping, and the whole house of cards topples.

Forget about those endless meetings between Sergei Lavrov and John Kerry; forget about Russia’s drive to prevent chaos from reigning in Syria; forget about the possibility of a real ceasefire being implemented and respected by US jihad proxies.

As you scroll down the document, you will find page 291, section C, which reads (in caps, originally):
“THE WEST, GULF COUNTRIES, AND TURKEY [WHO] SUPPORT THE [SYRIAN] OPPOSITION… THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY OF ESTABLISHING A DECLARED OR UNDECLARED SALAFIST PRINCIPALITY IN EASTERN SYRIA (HASAKA AND DER ZOR), AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THE SUPPORTING POWERS TO THE OPPOSITION WANT, IN ORDER TO ISOLATE THE SYRIAN REGIME, WHICH IS CONSIDERED THE STRATEGIC DEPTH OF THE SHIA EXPANSION (IRAQ AND IRAN)”.
The DIA report is a formerly classified SECRET/NOFORN document, which made the rounds of virtually the whole alphabet soup of US intel, from CENTCOM to CIA, FBI, DHS, NGA and the State Department.
