“A 19-year-old girl has been charged with perverting the course of justice after telling police she was drugged and raped by an Asian sex gang in Cumbria. The teenager, from Barrow-in-Furness, is currently in custody awaiting a court hearing, having allegedly breached her bail conditions. In the op-ed, titled “Democrats, It’s Time to Consider a Plan B,” Elizabeth Bruenig argues: I have my own impressions regarding Ms. Reade’s allegations, but no one — save Ms. Reade and Mr. Biden — knows with certainty whether her claims are true. What I can assert with firm conviction is that Democrats ought to start considering a backup plan for 2020. Ms. Reade’s account is not nearly as incredible as some have argued. In the course of my reporting, I have worked closely with many survivors of sexual assault. It isn’t unusual, in my experience, for survivors to exhibit behavior that seems unstable or erratic to others. They may initially disclose to investigators or journalists only a fragment of what happened, and then reveal more over time — some even falsely recant, either because they sense the police don’t believe them, or because they fear the consequences of pressing their claims. And victims often maintain relationships with their attackers or harbor mixed feelings about them.…

     Believe the worst in a time of over-the-top censorship because what have they to hide? Amazon is censoring books about the coronavirus freak-out saying that it will refer to official information. Here, a rejected author sent me an email from them, and I cut and paste their exact words for your amazement:

Michelle Obama is now president of the United States and will not only fill out Biden’s term but will retain her eligibility to run again in her own right in 2024 when she will have turned 60." So while it may not be Michelle Obama, Biden says he's committed to picking a woman as his running mate - though he didn't comment on whether she will be a minority. "I'll commit to that [it will] be a woman because it is very important that my administration look like the public, look like the nation. And there will be, committed that there will be a woman of color on the Supreme Court, that doesn't mean there won't be a vice president, as well," he said. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) said last week in an interview with MSNBC's Rachel Maddow she would say yes if Biden asked her to be vice president, and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) said last week she would be "honored" if she were being considered as Biden's running mate. Former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams has also said she would like to serve as vice president. Abrams told Elle magazine last week she would make an "excellent" running mate for Biden. Biden also confirmed earlier this month that he is considering Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) for the spot. -The Hill”
