Predatory Green Capitalism: Monetising Air! By James Reed

The world suffers from commodity fetishism, where everything has been converted to a money value, and where the money power controls everything. Some may feel that some things escape this net, such as air, but the global warming nonsense shows that even air will be reduced to a monetary value, and we will pay for air:
  https://washingtonsblog.com/2019/07/predatory-green-capitalism-is-monetizing-the-air-and-its-going-to-cost-you.html
  http://charleshughsmith.blogspot.com/2019/07/predatory-green-capitalism-is.html

“You asked, "What's left to monetize? It appears the answer is 'very little.'" I respectfully disagree. The Biggest Enchilada of all is left. Air. Specifically carbon dioxide, CO2. We just have to figure how to get the yokels to agree to pay for that which was formerly free. Got it! First we browbeat them into believing its evil and that we have to tax it to save all life on Earth. Then, following in the finest traditions of the degenerate late medieval Catholic Church, we'll commission sellers of "Indulgences" to allow sinning at ever rising prices. a/k/a "Carbon Credit trading". This doesn't require any value added and the profits on "buy zero sell high" are limitless. This is the specific outline and the very same agencies that so love financialization of all kinds, $2 trillion dollar student debt to sustain obscenely paid college administrators and academics, endless academic credentialism and huge Hipster Cities sitting on container ports and mediating the China Trade, are all promoting this financialization of CO2 as hard as possible. This is why a nullity like the Paris Climate Accords continues to be pushed even after its proven every way possible that a) the biggest emitters like China and India won't adhere to them and b) even if they did the prescribed regimes will do nothing anyway. And its why I "don't believe" in it. Or rather, its why I believe its just the next and biggest financial scam.

The Problem of Asteroids By Brian Simpson

Some of us are looking each night to the starry skies above for answers, but as beautiful and awe-inspiring as the heavens are, humanity is but a speck of dust in a vast cosmic shooting gallery, that does not care about human intellectual machinations, deconstructions and social relativity:
  https://weather.com/en-IN/india/news/news/2019-07-19-asteroid-fly-move-close-threat-earth-31-surface

“The current year has seen at least three asteroids moving dangerously close to the earth, namely, 2019 nn3, 2019 mb4 and 2019 mt2. another asteroid, ‘2019 nj2’, is likely to join this list on Friday. the asteroid 2019 nj2 is estimated to have an approximate diameter of 63 metres, and it is traveling at a speed of 48,280 km/h. the centre of near-earth object studies (cneos) forecasts that nj2 is likely to reach closest to the earth’s surface by Friday evening around 3:53 pm edt, or just before 1.30 am this Saturday morning. the asteroid will be around 3.1 million miles from our planet during this period. nj2 was first observed on June 29 this year. earlier, it was nearest to the earth in 1952 when it was flying close to venus.

Where Whites Responsible for This? By Chris Knight

First, at least the laws of arithmetic have not yet been rejected by the politically correct. Thus, Cortes and the conquistadors battled the Aztec empire from 1519-1521. However, the events to be described in South America happened in 1450. Columbus only reached the Americas in 1492, so there was no chance that white racism caused this, or is there???
  https://www.naturalnews.com/2019-07-20-mass-grave-discovered-in-peru-children-animal-sacrifice.html
  https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-6778541/Worlds-largest-mass-sacrifice-discovered-South-America-140-children-slaughtered.html

“The slaughter of hundreds of young children and llamas in 15th century Peru may have been in response to a huge El Nino. More than 140 boys and girls aged between five and 14 were slaughtered in what is thought to be a mass sacrifice to appease the gods of a now extinct religion. Many of the children and juvenile animals had their hearts cut out during the grisly ritual. It is thought a huge El Niño caused major flooding and storms which triggered the bloody sacrifice. Analysis of the remains of more than 200 juvenile llamas and humans dates it to approximately 1450, during the peak of the Chimu civilisation in northern coastal Peru. The Huanchaquito-Las Llamas burial site is a 7,500 square foot area located less than half a mile from the Chimu's capital Chan Chan, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Why Are the Global Elites Seeking Outer Space? By Brian Simpson

Why the interest by the global elite in outer space? Is it that they were Star Trek fans in their larva stage of their metamorphosis, or is there something more?
  https://www.truthdig.com/articles/why-are-billionaires-like-jeff-bezos-so-obsessed-with-space/

“Billionaires like Elon Musk, Richard Branson and Jeff Bezos, among others, are displaying profound enthusiasm in regard to the notion of exploiting space. Their interest appears to go well beyond space tourism for the thrill-seeking one-percenters, even though that’s what gets most of the media attention. As Cathal O’Connell reports for Cosmos Magazine, “Already companies are sending up 3D printers to produce replacement tools in space. Next we could see orbiting factories making products for sale on Earth or automated robots constructing satellites the size of a football field.” If this all seems as exotic as those old 1930s “Flash Gordon” films did to the audiences of the day, recall that the experience of the Apollo 11 moon landing showed that reality has a way of catching up quickly to Hollywood fantasy (it also shows that when sufficient government resources are harnessed to a higher common purpose, good results can happen surprisingly quickly and efficiently). Once the likes of Bezos, Branson, Musk, and others find a way to economically hoist heavy machinery into space (and it is becoming more economic), permanent “off-Earth” manufacturing could become a reality. But this raises an interesting issue: who chooses the technological alternatives that set out our future?

Face it, Sydney is Lost By Bruce Bennett

I lived in Sydney for about 8 years, working in real estate. Travel, the sheer amount of traffic made me ill, I mean really ill in terms of hypertension, going around to properties all day, and drinking alcohol at night. I earnt good money selling the place off to overseas buyers, but eventually I saw the error of my ways, left the evil industry, left Sydney, and went down the coast. Maybe others will do so too, before Sydney simply collapses:
  https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/australia/why-sydney-is-a-disaster-mark-latham-on-everything-thats-wrong-with-australias-biggest-city-and-its-troubled-future-thanks-to-a-booming-population/ar-AAEnppj?li=AAgfYrC&ocid=mailsignout

“Sydney's planners suffer from a 'total lack of sense' and seem 'permanently asleep at the wheel' as the city goes through a massive population boom, Mark Latham has warned. In an exclusive interview, the newly elected New South Wales One Nation leader has given a scathing diagnosis of the biggest problem with Australia's largest city. The powerful crossbencher, 58, still lives in Sydney's south-west near Camden with his wife and children and commutes to work by train. But Mr Latham described the area as 'population boom town' and painted a vivid picture of schools and local services already under immense strain. That comes even as the Government plans to build a new city the size of Adelaide on Sydney's outskirts - without setting aside land for a single public hospital. 'I got involved with politics because of bad planning where I grew up ... and fifty years later you're having the same problems,' Mr Latham said. 'You have to wonder, are these people permanently asleep at the wheel? Because these are obvious, obvious problems that come from bad planning.'

Porn Causes Global Warming, So Ban Porn! By Mrs Vera West

Porn is evil because of its ill effects upon both men and women, but there is another angle to this which has amusingly, recently emerged; porn as a climate threat! Now that one really throws the cat among the Left-wing pigeons, since the Left love both porn and champion climate change as a new religion, so what gives when these dark titans clash?
  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSF82AwSDiU
  https://www.yourbrainonporn.com/
  https://www.rt.com/news/464109-porn-co2-emissions-report/

“A new study brings a whole new meaning to the term ‘dirty movie’, as online porn has been found to be responsible for 100 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions a year. The Shift Project’s ‘Climate crisis: The unsustainable use of online video’ report found that a third of all videos viewed online are porn, and that watching online adult entertainment emits just under 100 million tons of CO2 emissions. The emissions generated in 2018 were of the same “magnitude as that of the residential sector in France,” the report found. Online videos generated 60 percent of the world’s data flows in 2018, which doesn’t include Skype videos or ‘camgirls’ live videos, and creates 300 million tons of CO2 emissions a year. Video streaming services like Netflix account for a third of online videos, and created the same amount of emissions as the entire Chilean economy. The report warns that emissions will continue to grow along with our increased viewing of online content and suggests limitations are put in place, such as not autoplaying videos and not using the highest possible resolution.”

The Nuclear Attack Upon the USA by the USA! By James Reed

Readers may find this interesting, and even thought I am a hardcore conspiracy theorist, I did not know much about this incident until seeing the below eye-opening video about the  B-36 bomber nuclear accident, Albuquerque, 1957. This story is only now being covered in the media after recently released papers:

“Newly released government documents reveal that a 42,000-pound hydrogen bomb, one of the most powerful ever made, accidentally fell from a bomber near Albuquerque 29 years ago, a newspaper said today. Non-nuclear explosives, which are used to trigger armed nuclear devices, detonated in the unarmed Mark 17 bomb when it hit the ground 4 1/2 miles south of Kirtland Air Force Base’s control tower, the Albuquerque Journal reported. The newspaper said it obtained the documents through the Freedom of Information Act. No one was injured when the bomb hit an uninhabited area owned by the University of New Mexico, creating a crater about 12 feet deep and 25 feet in diameter, the newspaper said. The documents said minor radioactive contamination was detected in the crater. “It is possibly the most powerful bomb we ever made,” said Stan Norris, a research associate with the Natural Resources Defense Council and a specialist on nuclear weapons. The government documents did not show the exact explosive yield of the bomb, but Norris said most researchers believe that it was more than 10 megatons. A megaton is the equivalent of 1 million tons, or 1,000 kilotons, of TNT. Norris said the largest nuclear weapon in the U.S. arsenal today has a yield of about 9 megatons. The atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima in World War II had a yield of about 16 kilotons.

The Global Warming Hoax By James Reed

We knew it all ago, and were waiting for this: proof of the global warming hoax:
  https://www.rt.com/news/464051-finnish-study-no-evidence-warming/

“A new study conducted by a Finnish research team has found little evidence to support the idea of man-made climate change. The results of the study were soon corroborated by researchers in Japan. In a paper published late last month, entitled ‘No experimental evidence for the significant anthropogenic climate change’, a team of scientists at Turku University in Finland determined that current climate models fail to take into account the effects of cloud coverage on global temperatures, causing them to overestimate the impact of human-generated greenhouse gasses. Models used by official bodies such as the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) “cannot compute correctly the natural component included in the observed global temperature,” the study said, adding that “a strong negative feedback of the clouds is missing” in the models. Adjusting for the cloud coverage factor and accounting for greenhouse gas emissions, the researchers found that mankind is simply not having much of an effect on the Earth’s temperature. If we pay attention to the fact that only a small part of the increased CO2 concentration is anthropogenic, we have to recognize that the anthropogenic climate change does not exist in practice. The study’s authors make a hard distinction between the type of model favored by climate scientists at the IPCC and genuine evidence, stating “We do not consider computational results as experimental evidence,” noting that the models often yield contradictory conclusions.”

Just Have a Look at What a Green Society Would be like By James Reed

With a Greenie communist government, what would life be like? Well, I for one would hope that the government executed people like me, or just me, so that it would be all over. But, if not, I imagine that it would be along the following lines:
  https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/jul/12/a-sort-of-eco-dictatorship-shanghai-grapples-with-strict-new-recycling-laws?utm_source=amerika.org

“For the last two weeks, Shanghai residents have grappled with a singular question: “What kind of trash are you?” The question is aimed at the city’s daily 22,000 tonnes of household waste that, according to new rules implemented on 1 July, must be sorted into one of four colour-coded bins: dry, wet, recyclable and hazardous. While the categories may be clear, the rules are not. Chicken bones should go into the wet waste bin, but pork bones are considered dry waste. Cell phone batteries are harmful waste but older batteries go into the dry garbage. Rubbish is to be delivered to designated points at certain hours in the morning or in the evening under the supervision of volunteers. “Every day you wake up, with one question: today what kind of trash will you be?” wrote a commentator on Sina Weibo in a widely circulated blog post titled, “The truth behind the garbage classification driving Shanghai residents crazy”. Shanghai, home to about 23 million people, is the first in a nationwide push to raise China’s recycling rate, one of the lowest in the region at under 20%. By 2020, China hopes to bring that rate up to 35% in 46 Chinese cities and by 2025 to implement a nationwide urban waste sorting system.”

An Animal Model for Our Zombie Times By Bruce Bennett

When scientists ae investigating drugs to treat a human disease, animal models are used, often mice. Here is a nice illustration of the plight of the West, with an animal model, metaphorical of course.
  https://www.livescience.com/51764-wasp-spider-zombies.html

“Like a mindless zombie controlled by a menacing overlord, the spider scampers back and forth, reinforcing its silky web. Not long from now, the subservient arachnid will be dead, its web transformed into a shelter for the spawn of the creature that once controlled it, according to a new study. No, this isn't science fiction; it's the somewhat terrifying (but very real) tale of the orb-weaving spider Cyclosa argenteoalba and the parasitic wasp Reclinervellus nielseni, two species that carry out a strange relationship in Hyogo prefecture, Japan. Together, the wasp and the spider provide a perfect example of host manipulation — an ecological process in which one species (the parasite) and its young (the parasitoids) manipulate the behaviors of another species (the host) to their advantage. … The parasitic wasp's ability to manipulate its host in such a specific and subtle way is not unique. In Costa Rica, another parasitic wasp, Hymenoepimecis argyraphaga, ups the horror by depositing its eggs inside of its host arachnid (Plesiometa argyra), which builds a cocoon-worthy web before being consumed from the inside out by larvae. And, in Brazil (as well as other countries), there are fungi that infect many species of ants, turning these insects into a host of zombies. The ants climb to the highest point they can find and then die as fungal stalks shoot through their skulls, dispersing the fungus' spores into the wind. In the case of the fungi-entranced ants, scientists know that the fungi actually release a cocktail of chemicals into the ants' brains, inducing them to do the fungi's bidding. But entomologists are still actively studying the ways that wasps and other insect parasites might control their hosts. Takasuka suspects that, in the case of R. nielseni and C. argenteoalba, the mechanism controlling the spider's web-strengthening preferences is somehow related to the hormone that is naturally released in the spider just before molting. This hormone is what motivates the spider to start building a resting nest. In the near future, Takasuka hopes to study the chemicals present in the larvae to determine how those chemicals might be related to the resting-web hormone and others.

Will Earthquakes Make California a Hyper-Fukushima? By Brian Simpson

The American contributors here, having a strong Evangelical Christian background, are seeing the Californian earthquakes as a possible coming of divine retribution, and I would not shed a tear if this was true, normally. God has the right to punish the evil ones. But, before we start praying hard for this, as some Christians on the net are recommending, but which I think is really just moral spite and therefore anti-Christian, we need to look at what is actually in California, namely nuclear power reactors. Imagine these all doing a mega-Fukushima, which would surely be a civilizational threatening event given the amount of radioactive material there, far dwarfing Fukushima?
  https://www.naturalnews.com/2019-07-10-californias-nuclear-power-plants-built-in-close-proximity-to-the-san-andreas-fault.html

“A Natural News investigation into the geolocation of nuclear power facilities in California reveals that five nuclear facilities were built in close proximity to the San Andreas fault line, with some constructed right in the middle of earthquake zones that have up to a 50% chance of a severe earthquake every 30 years. One nuclear power plant – the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant which produces 2,160 megawatts — was constructed on the coast, making it extremely vulnerable to the very same kind of ocean water surge that destroyed the Fukushima-Daiichi facility which suffered a 2011 meltdown in Japan. That nuclear catastrophe — which was dutifully covered up by the entire western media for months — was caused by an underwater earthquake that produced a tsunami wave which engulfed the facility. California’s Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant is positioned on the coastline in the exact same way, making it highly vulnerable to underwater earthquakes or other events such as underwater caldera explosions that can produce massive tsunami waves. There are five additional nuclear power facilities in California which are in various stages of being decommissioned, and many of them continues to store nuclear fuel on sight. Four of the five were constructed in close proximity to the San Andreas fault, with only one — the Rancho Seco Nuclear Power Plant — located in an area with a near-zero chance of an earthquake. The Humboldt Bay Nuclear Power Plant, located north of San Francisco, was constructed almost exactly on the San Andreas fault.

Our Sacred Land? By Viv Forbes

My wife and I were both born in Australia, as were two children and four grandchildren. Our parents were born in Australia as were all of their parents. And some ancestors go back much further in this land. I feel rage every time I have to sit through another patronising “welcome to country” charade, designed to make me feel an intruder in my own land. Indigenous history on this continent is the same as our family story – it just goes back a bit further. The first aboriginals probably walked here over a land bridge and Europeans came later in sailing clippers. All caused displacement of prior inhabitants. They brought dingos which are now “protected” – we brought cattle, sheep, horses and ploughs which are increasingly condemned. They mined ochre, quartzite and basalt, which are now heritage sites – but our coal mines are widely condemned. They brought spears and boomerangs – we brought guns and swords. Racial referenda, indigenous “Welcomes”, talk of Treaties and special land rights for some Australians just create and maintain division. How long before we are one people with the same rights and responsibilities? Two centuries is surely time enough?

Will Mirror Universe Experiments Destroy the Universe? (But at Least These Will be Done by a Woman, So It’s Not So Bad) By Brian Simpson

We heard about mirror worlds in the movie Dr Strange (2016), but now physicists are trying to interact with such worlds. Do they have any consent from the rest of the world for conducting experiments that could destroy the universe, or create unexpected hazards? Of course not, but it will be done anyway, because … just science. And, if females are involved, any possible criticism becomes impossible … just women in STEM.
  https://www.nbcnews.com/mach/science/scientists-are-searching-mirror-universe-it-could-be-sitting-right-ncna1023206

“At Oak Ridge National Laboratory in eastern Tennessee, physicist Leah Broussard is trying to open a portal to a parallel universe. She calls it an “oscillation” that would lead her to “mirror matter,” but the idea is fundamentally the same. In a series of experiments she plans to run at Oak Ridge this summer, Broussard will send a beam of subatomic particles down a 50-foot tunnel, past a powerful magnet and into an impenetrable wall. If the setup is just right — and if the universe cooperates — some of those particles will transform into mirror-image versions of themselves, allowing them to tunnel right through the wall. And if that happens, Broussard will have uncovered the first evidence of a mirror world right alongside our own. “It’s pretty wacky,” Broussard says of her mind-bending exploration. The mirror world, assuming it exists, would have its own laws of mirror-physics and its own mirror-history. You wouldn’t find a mirror version of yourself there (and no evil Spock with a goatee — sorry "Star Trek" fans). But current theory allows that you might find mirror atoms and mirror rocks, maybe even mirror planets and stars. Collectively, they could form an entire shadow world, just as real as our own but almost completely cut off from us. Broussard says her initial search for the mirror world won’t be especially difficult. “This is a pretty straightforward experiment that we cobbled together with parts we found lying around, using equipment and resources we already had available at Oak Ridge,” she says. But if she unequivocally detects even a single mirror particle, it would prove that the visible universe is only half of what is out there — and that the known laws of physics are only half of a much broader set of rules. “If you discover something new like that, the game totally changes,” Broussard says.

California Must Sink into the Ocean! By Charles Taylor

Prophecies of end times are being made, or it could just all be a matter of geology, but the recent Californian earthquakes have stirred up renewed interest in the coming of the Big One which will pretty much destroy California, which would be not regretted by many I suppose.
  https://www.livescience.com/65886-could-socal-earthquakes-hit-san-andreas-fault.html

“But is there a chance that these quakes could somehow transfer stress to the San Andreas Fault, potentially triggering the much feared "Big One" in one of the state's most populous cities? The San Andreas fault system is more than 800 miles (1,300 kilometers) long, and as deep as 10 miles (16 km) in some spots. Twin quakes — the biggest to hit Southern California in decades — rattled a parched stretch of the Mojave Desert on Thursday (July 4) and Friday (July 5), sending seismic waves rippling through Earth that could be felt from Los Angeles to San Jose. Thankfully, no deaths were reported, partly because the two quakes hit a sparsely populated region of the Golden State. The ruptured faults were not part of the San Andreas Fault system, which snakes 800 miles (1,287 kilometers) from north to south along the coastline, where the North American and Pacific plates meet. But is there a chance that these quakes could somehow transfer stress to the San Andreas Fault, potentially triggering the much feared "Big One" in one of the state's most populous cities?

What Does A Low Life Bum Like Uncle Len and Paul McCartney’s Daughter Have in Common? By Uncle Len the Ever-Dirty

Ha! I have been waiting for this one my entire life, and now that moment is here! How sweet it is to see one’s entire life blossom at the last moment, the 11th hour. And it is all about dirty clothes, something I have spent my whole life in:
  https://www.bbc.com/news/world-48908413?utm_source=amerika.org

“"Basically, in life, rule of thumb: if you don't absolutely have to clean anything, don't clean it." Fashion designer Stella McCartney said this in an interview with the Observer this weekend, adding that she picked up the tip while working for bespoke tailors on London's prestigious Savile Row. Instead, she says, the "rule" is to "let the dirt dry and you brush it off". It may have been a throwaway comment at the end of the interview, but something about this line stuck with readers - many of whom have been doing several loads of laundry a week. So does she have a point? Is it better to avoid washing your clothes? Killing the planet one microfibre at a time This isn't the first time McCartney has recommended not washing our clothes. In fact, she has long advocated avoiding the washing machine - both for the longevity of the garments, but also because of the impact washing them has on the environment. Laura Diáz Sánchez, from the Plastic Soup Foundation advocacy group, agrees with this, particularly when it comes to high-street clothes, which contain more synthetic materials such as polyester and acrylic. "Every time we wash our clothes an average of nine million [plastic] microfibres are released into the environment," she tells BBC News. "The way we wash our clothes affects this, as well as the way our clothes are made - but the more we wash our clothes, the more microfibres are released."

The Nordic Sub-Race and the Metaphysics of Personhood By Brian Simpson

Individualism is a great and noble philosophy, but as seen with American libertarianism, it can go too far, like any doctrine pushed to the limits. Of course, the collectivism of socialism and communism goes too far in the opposite direction. Yet, anyone with knowledge of anthropology and human prehistory would understand that individualism arose as a philosophy along with the emergence of capitalism. Liberal ideas would have puzzled the ancient Greeks, who, no doubt contributed the best examples of individualism as well, paradoxically.

Still, in an age where other ethnic groups have group identity, almost to the extent of a “hive mind,” Anglo Saxons, and Northern Europeans (Nordics/ Nordish peoples) are a tribal group that will disappear unless they immediately begin stop falsely seeing themselves as “universal,” and assert group rights and identity. Sorry, but the deracination and dispossession has got to the level that these once majorities are soon to be demographically replaced:

Invasive Species Attack! By Brian Simpson

At first it begins with the migration into new spaces by a few, then, slowly, increasing numbers. Local insects may at first be mildly concerned, but soon it is a battle for existing food resources, which the invaders can more effectively utilise. Over time, natural selection works its magic, and the populations change, by demographic displacement:
  https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/latest-news/786417/britain-asian-hornets-killer-human-sting-fatal-venom-nests-channel-islands

“BRITAIN is braced for an invasion of “killer” Asian Hornets as 80 queens have already been found in the UK. The insects – which can grow up to 1.6 inches – have powerful stings which can be fatal to humans with just a single strike if the person is allergic. Record numbers of nests have been found on Jersey as there are fears they will move onto the mainland. The fight is on-going on the Channel Island and is seen as a crucial battle-ground to stop the spread. Just one of the foreign menaces can eat up to 50 bees a day and their impact on honey production could be devastating.”
