The Reality of the Chinese Economy By James Reed

With the Asianise Australia lobby still having a massive love affair with the mighty China, it is worthwhile to consider whether the object of their undying love is so “mighty.” There are two sides to the China growth story, and here is the dark side:
  https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-08-23/rickards-new-reality-chinas-failing-economy-coming-soon

“The other half is pure waste, fraud and theft. About 45% of Chinese GDP is in the category of “investment.” A developed economy GDP such as the U.S. is about 70% consumption and 20% investment. There’s nothing wrong with 45% investment in a fast-growing developing economy assuming the investment is highly productive and intelligently allocated. That’s not the case in China. At least half of the investment there is pure waste. It takes the form of “ghost cities” that are fully-built with skyscrapers, apartments, hotels, clubs, and transportation networks – and are completely empty. This is not just western propaganda; I’ve seen the ghost cities first hand and walked around the empty offices and hotels. Chinese officials try to defend the ghost cities by claiming they are built for the future. That’s nonsense. Modern construction is impressive, but it’s also high maintenance. Those shiny new buildings require occupants, rents and continual maintenance to remain shiny and functional. The ghost cities will be obsolete long before they are ever occupied.

Death By Globalism By James Reed

Here in Australia, Mal and the rest of the gang tell us all of the time that globalism is good; if greed is good was the mantra of the 1980s, today it is globalism that can cure everything form eroded teeth to footrot. However, some folk out there are not buying it:
  https://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2018/07/12/chadwick-moore-left-for-dead-in-danville-how-globalism-is-killing-working-class-america/

“The city of Danville, Virginia sits in the bellybutton of the Blue Ridge Mountains, a hat-toss over the North Carolina border and about 85 miles northwest of Raleigh. It’s low hill country and Danville straddles the frothy, hocolate-milk waters of the Dan River. Downtown, once a booming trade district, today is a decomposed industrial husk, a tidy cluster of silent rectangles ensnared by broad, ghostly thoroughfares built for a time in the not-so-distant past when people and goods poured in and out of town. Those days are gone, perhaps never to return. The story of Danville is one echoed in countless communities across the country, a gutted middle class left for dead in the wake of sweeping international trade deals in Washington, applauded by liberal economists and a lockstep media portraying such policies as inevitable, ultimately good, and a win for the American consumer–a narrative usually coupled with condescending and disdainful attitudes toward displaced workers for a perceived inability to sprint ahead with the times.”

Trump Calls Out the Degenerate, Decadent Europeans By Richard Miller

President Trump has said that there is an elephant in the china shop, namely that the EU is a “foe”:
  https://www.cbsnews.com/news/donald-trump-interview-cbs-news-european-union-is-a-foe-ahead-of-putin-meeting-in-helsinki-jeff-glor/

“Coming off a contentious NATO summit and a trip to the U.K. in which he seemed to undercut the government of America’s closest ally, President Trump took aim at another Western institution just days before his high-stakes meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. In an interview with “CBS Evening News” anchor Jeff Glor in Scotland on Saturday, President Trump named the European Union -- comprising some of America’s oldest allies -- when asked to identify his “biggest foe globally right now.” “Well, I think we have a lot of foes. I think the European Union is a foe, what they do to us in trade. Now, you wouldn’t think of the European Union, but they’re a foe. Russia is foe in certain respects. China is a foe economically, certainly they are a foe. But that doesn’t mean they are bad. It doesn’t mean anything. It means that they are competitive,” Mr. Trump said at his golf club in Turnberry, Scotland.”

Travels in Cultural Nihilism By James Reed

It is hard to find academics willing to have a hit at the tyrannical system, since they are soon removed. Yet, UK academic Stephen Leonard, in Travels in Cultural Nihilism, (Arktos, 2017), seems to have done a good job of slaughtering sacred cows, bolding proclaiming that multiculturalism is a failure. I don’t have the book, but there is a good review of it at another site, whose writers are richer than me, so they will not mind the poor borrowing from the richer poor:
  https://www.theoccidentalobserver.net/2018/03/28/review-travels-in-cultural-nihilism-some-essays/

“In ‘Psychological Angst’ Leonard attempts to understand why Western populations remain silent as their access to free speech becomes increasingly restricted. He attributes this silence, in part, to the growth of ‘groupthink,’ a “psychological phenomenon that occurs within a group of people, in which the desire for harmony or conformity in the group results in an irrational or dysfunctional decision-making outcome.” In the context of groupthink, which is increasingly underpinned by hate speech legislation, “the power of peer pressure is such that any dissent is socially unacceptable, and would lead to alienation.”

The Time Will Come, When You Will Bow to China By James Reed

You have heard me crying in the wilderness to all, but many just continued their pet hobbies. Now, China declares that it is set to rule a New World Chinese Order, and we will be subjects, just as the Left/Asianisationers/multiculters/mass immigrationers and other furry friends too numerous to mention, recursively, want:
  https://ca.news.yahoo.com/xi-says-china-must-lead-way-reform-global-131025093.html

“China must lead the way in reforming global governance, the foreign ministry on Saturday cited President Xi Jinping as saying, as Beijing looks to increase its world influence. China has sought a greater say in global organizations such as the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and United Nations, in line with its growing economic and diplomatic clout. Since taking office in late 2012, Xi has taken a more muscular approach, setting up China’s own global bodies like the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and launching his landmark Belt and Road project to build a new Silk Road. Beijing has cast itself a responsible member of the international community, especially as President Donald Trump withdraws the United States from agreements on climate change and Iran, and as Europe wrestles with Brexit and other issues.

China and African Colonialism By James Reed

If there are still doubts by anyone about China’s plans for world conquest, just consider what they are up to in Africa, with not a pip of concern made about this by the Left in the West, who have always been a fifth column for Chinese imperialism:
  http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2018/03/08/experts-africa-colonialism-reflects-xi-jinpings-belief-china-sovereign-state/

“China is employing “neo-colonialism” tactics in Africa in the form of predatory loans collateralized with natural resources and strategic assets, experts cautioned lawmakers on Wednesday. The loans allow Beijing to strengthen its military ties to the continent, enhance political leverage, export communist authoritarian ideology, and gain access to viable army positions that can threaten the American homeland. In written testimony prepared for a House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa hearing on Wednesday, author Gordon Chang, an expert on China, declared: I conclude that [President] Xi Jinping, the Chinese ruler, believes his country should be the world’s only sovereign state, which is the essence of colonialism, and that today his country’s relations with Africa resemble a new form of colonialism. Moreover, I believe Xi’s ambitions for Africa, however one characterizes them, threaten America.

The End of Liberal Democracy By James Reed

The TPP and the Treason of Trump By Charles Taylor

Most Alt righters in the US see Donald Trump as surrendering on his key election promises, and there is an atmosphere of gloom, mixed with anger as the realisation comes that there will not be a voting box solution to our problems. And, when in history has there ever been? One of Trump’s promises was that the US would not join the TTP, and for a while Trump held to this. Be aware my Aussie friends that he has back tracked on this one under pressure from his buddies in the US business community, and has now said that the US would joint the TPP if it got a better deal:
  https://www.cnbc.com/2018/01/24/trade-australia-hopes-the-us-will-join-tpp-finance-minister-says.html

There is no better deal for any of us, as the TPP is just a bill of rights for the corporate elites to plunder the world. We looked to Trump as the last politician to take a stand against globalism, as he said he would in his last TV ad during the election campaign. He lied, and thus is worse than Hillary Clinton, because he has betrayed the trust of ordinary working Americans who looked up to him to save them from the degradation of globalism. But, in the end, we can only save ourselves.

All the Fun and Games of Davos By David Williamson

The members of the open conspiracy to tear down nations and all that we hold dear were at Davos, with the World Economic Forum. George Soros was there to attack President Trump and social media, because, well, George does not get a good run in social media, does he?

UN Migrant Push By James Reed

Get ready for the nest assault on the West as the UN plans a new global mass movement of migrants to the West, of course, through the UN global compact on migration. Here is the standard justification for this, which we have all heard before:

“This year, governments will negotiate a global compact on migration through the United Nations. This will be the first overarching international agreement of its kind. It will not be a formal treaty. Nor will it place any binding obligations on states. Instead, it is an unprecedented opportunity for leaders to counter the pernicious myths surrounding migrants, and lay out a common vision of how to make migration work for all our nations.
This is an urgent task. We have seen what happens when large-scale migration takes place without effective mechanisms to manage it. The world was shocked by recent video of migrants being sold as slaves.
Grim as these images were, the real scandal is that thousands of migrants suffer the same fate each year, unrecorded. Many more are trapped in demeaning, precarious jobs that border on slavery anyway. There are nearly six million migrants trapped in forced labour today, often in developed economies.

Much Ado About China By Peter West

Letter to The Editor - It is time to change the way you value your vote—the next election could be your last chance for a change!

To the Numurkah Leader
Please allow me to comment on the article ‘No spilt milk for dairy farmers’, (Leader, November 8, 2017). This report is another tragedy in the sorry saga of Australian industry.
Murray Goulburn Cooperative Dairy Company started on the faith of a few farmers and dedicated executives about 60 years ago in Cobram to become one of the greatest dairy cooperatives in the Southern Hemisphere. Now the final chapter is being written by Saputo—why?

Not long ago it was Ardmona Fruit Preserving Company, a world leader in its class, and Shepparton Preserving Company (SPC) being amalgamated then finally being downsized in a takeover by an ‘international conglomeration’.
All three companies were leaders in their class and managed by ‘smart’ people but some extraneous force they could not understand finally overcame their efforts to remain ‘financially viable’.
This same ‘force’ has been involved in the destruction of many primary and secondary industries which is accompanied by misery and heartbreak for individuals and their families.

Letter to The Editor - Policy Shock: Greens Promote Mining and Farming in Australia

Back to Bolted-Down Industries
Once upon a time Australia was attractive to processing, refining and manufacturing industries using our abundant mineral and food resources, our reliable low-cost coal-fired electricity and a workforce trained in technical skills.  No longer.

Australia used to have 11 oil refineries, spread around the country. There are just 4 left, all over fifty years old, and all in danger of closing down. Green barriers to oil exploration have forced most of them to rely on costly imported crude oil.
Now, for the first time in at least 60 years Australia no longer produces motor vehicles.

The Free Trade Fetish By James Reed

The Australian November 6, 2017, p.1,  moans about the world turning in a protectionist direction, while Australia, under Mal turn the Bull, wants to play free trade games.  Can I say here that this is like wanting to be a virgin in a … no, my Christian prudery censor software, which I installed to control my use of bad metaphors just kicked in.

Anyway, Aussie households are supposed to have benefitted by $8,500 a year in household incomes from 30 years of free trade.  I simply don’t believe it, and refuse to.  Before all of this globalist nonsense, families could survive on one wage from dad, the family wage.  Now, two parents working barely makes ends meet.  US statistic indicate that real incomes have not risen since 1970, and I expect the same is true for Australia.

Uncle Len Embraces His Inner Diversity By Uncle Len, Hidden Master of the Multicult

Sunday was some sort of multicultural diversity day in the mall, with people from all races doing wonderful colourful things.  How drab Anglo-Saxon culture is/was, and how wonderful that migration has finally brought civilisation to this land, which did not exist before 1946.  Oh, it did exist before British colonisation, which was truly evil, bringing white privilege to this land, which migrants helped overcome because they are fantastic.  Not like my kind.

The good thing though is that highly educated university types are exposing White privilege, such as seen in the creation of mathematics, whatever that is:

China’s Goal: World Conquest By James Reed

I am not over-reacting, for words to this effect have appeared in the mainstream press: The Australian, October 18, 2017, p. 11.  There it is said that Xi Jinping is rapidly building China into a 21st century totalitarian state.  It is noted that Chairman Mao’s 30 years, which killed millions, is not viewed with any guilt, but accepted as not inferior to the next 30 years of modernisation.  In fact, Xi has taken Mao further building a society of complete IT surveillance. Yes, that is the nation which is set to build a city on our shores.

What is done in China will ultimately be mirrored in the world as China hopes to rise to global domination. Xi champions globalism, while not practicing it for China which is the most protectionist country in the world, comprised of state run enterprises.
