Here  I want to range over a number of topics, which I hope will be of interest to readers on health issues, and their deconstruction, or if you like, the debunking of some establishment myths. It was water infrastructure, clear water and sewers that eliminated diseases such as polio. India has also had an aggressive vaccination campaign, with some children receiving up to 30 doses of the polio vaccine before their fifth birthday.      It brings tears of joy to this old lady’s eyes, to see young women at last fighting against the final chains that bind them, the chains of feminism.

     One needs to always look on the bright side, as my dear old mum used to say. If life hands you a lemon, make lemonade. Well, there has been much published at this site about the likelihood of a coming nuclear war. That, I know, is bad, because radiation is bad for humans.
However, there is now hope that an new drug developed at Stanford University, a drug belonging in the class of PHP inhibitors, may be able to protect the gastrointestinal tracts of humans from radiation.      The original mention of the drug was in 2014, but there has not been much published since, so we don’t know if and when the drug will be available.  If they don’t hurry up though, it won’t matter too much.

     According to S. Terbeck (et al.), “Propranolol Reduces Implicit Negative Racial Bias,” Psychopharmacology, February 28, 2012, the use of the drug propranolol, used primarily to treat a variety of medical conditions such as high blood pressure and irregular heart rate, can also “abolish implicit racial bias.” This was tested in 36 volunteers.
     Be that as it may, I know almost that number of people, myself included, who receive this drug to control hypertension. All of these people, except for myself, I being a loving kind of guy, are strong racists, by the system’s standards. I asked everyone in my smaller sample if they had become more racist after taking the drug, and they said that the drug did not effect their attitudes, which were a product of current political events, such as mass immigration.  Although it would bring a tear to my eye, I suppose the socialists would put me into that camp as well.
But, where goes the Terbeck (et al.) hypothesis? Surely it is wrong, for a complex social behaviour could not be regulated just by the administration of β-adrenoceptors. It is biological determinism and reductionism gone mad.

     The ASIO director-general has said that there is “absolutely no evidence” of a link between Australia’s refugee intake and terrorism: The Weekend Australian, May 27-28, 2017, p.1. This was a bit hard to swallow, and even The Australian said that the remarks were made “despite multiple Islamic terrorist acts in the past three years involving individuals on humanitarian visas, or their children.”

     The debate exploded with the Attorney General defending the ASIO boss’s comments: The Australian, May 31, 2017, p. 1, saying that Middle East refugees are not the source of the terrorism problem. There is, he observed, many aspects to the Islamic terrorism problem, including the radicalisation of young people by terrorist organisations. True, but trivially true. This is really a superficial response to the issue, as other experts admitted that even if the actual refugees were not a terrorist risk, the sons and daughters of refugees were at danger of radicalisation: The Australian, June 1, 2017, p.1. Thus, it is true that merely being a refugee from the Middle East did not automatically make one a terrorist, but who has said that? No Australian  authority has said that the children of refugees have radicalised solely because their parents were refugees, for clearly other cultural factors must be at work.

     Sorry for mentioning naked ladies in the title, but trust me, it is relevant and not gratuitous sensationalism just to get Google hits.      Well, let us suppose that this is so, just for the sake of argument. What is to stop the new planet from being destroyed in record time too? If we can’t save this one, then what likelihood is there of saving the next? And, the one after that? At some point we will reach the limit of space exploration and have to face our own hubris. Why not do it now? In fact, with the slow development of space travel, and the problems of long-term life in space, it is most unlikely that our future will be in the stars:

     The EU is just a form of globalism designed to ethnically destroy primarily Northern European people as an ethnic group and demographically displace them.      The future could perhaps be one where people have even less space, but have only “lockers” where they slide in to sleep, with a few possessions at their side. But, I expect long before this, a genetically engineered zombie virus, or a naturally occurring super-bird flu, may put humanity out of its misery.

     The computer geeks are feeling pretty proud of themselves here in OZ, dealing with the “WannaCry” ransomware, which hit over 200,000 computers in 150 countries. The software is believed to have been derived from a computer bug developed by the US National Security Agency. Like biological viruses, it got out somehow and sort to replicate.

     Reports have it that this is the product of one lone wolf actor. Thus, the question is raised; what happens when, not if, the next major conflict, if not war, erupts between the United States and a country with great cyber-prowess, such as Russia, or China? Surely this present cyber-attack would be nothing compared to what IT super-powers could deliver.

     US journalist firebrand Ann Coulter, someone we don’t have the equivalent to here in Australia, has been given a swift smack on the knuckles by Twitter for this alleged case of “hate speech”:
Ann Coulter posted a link to a recent article on her titled “To Say, ‘Stop Raping Me!’ In English, Press ‘1’ Now” on Twitter earlier this week.      Twitter said that the comments violated its “hateful conduct policy,” which defined “hateful conduct” as:
•    violent threats;
•    wishes for the physical harm, death, or disease of individuals or groups;
•    references to mass murder, violent events, or specific means of violence in which/with which such groups have been the primary targets or victims;
•    behavior that incites fear about a protected group;
•    repeated and/or non-consensual slurs, epithets, racist and sexist tropes, or other content that degrades someone.

If you are like me, then you operate on the methodological principle that the truth must be the opposite of what the Greenies believe. Hence, they believe in global warming; so global cooling could be occurring. Stephen S. Ilardi, The Depression Cure: The 6-Step Program to Beat Depression without Drugs, (DaCapo Press, 2009), is a must-read book for anyone suffering from depression.

The fundamental premise of the book is that “human beings were never designed for the poorly nourished, sedentary, indoor, sleep-deprived, socially isolated, frenzied pace of twenty-first-century life.”

There is something of a broad emerging consensus among the diverse groups and free-wheeling thinkers, going under the umbrella term “Alt Right,” that the key to dealing with the multitude of problems facing us – whether it be the financial/money question, race realities, immigration, feminism, etc. – is that there needs to be strong manly people to seek solutions and to fight for them. But manhood, along with other virtues of our civilisation, has been undermined.

Many see the destruction of manhood in purely socio-political terms, and of course, at a minimum, there is in this, much truth.
