He seems to think, if that is the word, that when Whites are a minority in America, the Democrats will be eternally in power and will establish a socialist paradise, or something along those lines.

     Moore’s position is deluded on many levels, as the better argument is that civil war will occur, and is already occurring. Moore’s worldview does not permit taking in facts, such as the largely unreported war between Blacks and Hispanics in many US suburbs. But, I don’t want to discuss ethno-race issues here.

     As a symbolic representation of the existential homelessness of modern Western man, I am always on the lookout for material to tell you about that affirms my raison d’etre, a word which I found on-line, but don’t know the meaning of, having no meaning or point for my existence.

     Anyway, I am getting off topic, which for me is remarkable. But, what was my topic? Think, Len, think. Your fans expect a lot from you, like coherence and all that. Now I remember, I have re-read my title….high tech homelessness. You see the high tech elite at Silicon Valley, which is, I suppose, an entire valley full of silicon, are living in their cars because of the high cost of living. HA! HA, again. Why don’t they just clean up all the silicon and make homes for people? Or, bring in more migrants, who through their economic magic will make even more homes?

     Imagine a sausage factory – the luckiest, most profitable sausage factory in the world. Its machines crank out their sausages, and lorries carry them to supermarkets. So far, so normal.

     But this particular factory makes as many sausages as the management and staff choose. If they feel like taking the day off, the lorries and shelves stay empty. If they want to go a bit wild, they sometimes make so many sausages that there aren’t enough lorries to take them away. Or they carry on cranking out sausages even if the shelves are already full.

     Tony Abbott effectively nails the republican issue on the head (‘Imagine Bill our Head of Fate’, 2/8) by reminding us that the Crown gives us ‘national continuity and a focus of loyalty that’s above politics’. Something enormously valuable that has been bequeathed to Australia by the British people’s 1100 year-old constitutional history will be lost if the republican campaign is successful. Abbott could have added that a constitutional monarchy, based on sacred tradition, is by far the best protection of a people against tyranny, whether that is based on inadequate ideology pushed by ‘green-left’ witchdoctors, lust for power in unbalanced persons or financial greed of cliques of merchants.

     It is good to see Maurice Newman’s invocation of forbidden author W. Cleon Skousen (‘Masks slip to reveal the ugly face of the future’, 21/6) and his 1960’s analysis of the danger of a future communist world presided over by the UNO.  As to that ‘brutal authoritarian face’ behind ‘the seductive mask of socialism’, it must be remembered that Skousen published a sequel to ‘The Naked Communist’ in 1970, entitled ‘The Naked Capitalist’.
     This was a detailed analysis of insider Carroll Quigley’s 1300-page book ‘Tragedy and Hope’, which exposed what former communist Dr Bella Dodd called ‘a much bigger conspiracy’ behind the communist conspiracy. Quigley’s book suddenly became almost unobtainable for several years. His thesis makes good sense: there is obviously enormous financial power behind the spread of the ‘cultural Marxism’ that Newman deplores.

     The Clexit Coalition today called on President Trump to keep his election promise to withdraw from the Paris Climate Treaty and stop US payments to all UN global warming programs.
The Clexit (ClimateExit) Coalition, comprising over 175 representatives from 25 countries, aims to prevent ratification or local enforcement of the UN Paris climate treaty.

    The Secretary of Clexit, Mr Viv Forbes of Australia, said that all nations will suffer from the destructive energy policies being promoted in the UN’s war on cheap, reliable hydro-carbon fuels and the backbone industries that rely on them – mining and smelting, farming, fishing, forestry, processing and manufacturing.
He was supported by Professor Will Happer, Professor of Physics at Princeton University who said today:

A new report from the European Commission, JRC Science for Policy report, Space Weather & Critical Infrastructures: Findings and Outlook: http://publications.jrc.ec.europa.eu/repository/bitstream/JRC104231/space_weather_cover%2Breport_final.pdf, has reported on the threat of space weather events on earth’s critical infrastructure. For our purposes, the report notes that space weather events, like EMP occurrences, can severely damage critical infrastructure, such as the power grid, aviation, navigation systems and communications. There can be cascading effects resulting in larger than expected impacts.

The report recommends that there be a multi-risk approach adopted to deal with this threat, with improvements in forecasting via better methodologies and the determination of the specific vulnerability that a system has to space weather events.

“Useless Eaters And Ethnic Purity; The Trump/Bannon War For Biological Nationhood,” by Chris Floyd, which pushes the idea that Trump is trying to follow a Nazi agenda and create an ethnically pure state. No matter that his daughter is married to a Jewish man, and is in fact a practising  Jew herself. No, Trump wants to cut some social welfare programs (never mind that feminist icon Julia Gillard did more), and his man Stephen Bannon (spelt wrongly in one part of the article), likes French philosopher Charles Maurras, and he was a Nazi sympathiser.

Every day some green energy promoter or a battery salesman tells us how green energy with battery backup will supply Australia’s future electricity needs.
A battery stores energy. Energy can be stored using lead-acid, nickel/cadmium, lithium, molten salt, pumped hydro, hydrogen, flywheels, compressed air or some other smart gizmo. But NOT ONE battery produces new energy – they simply store and discharge energy produced by other means. They all deliver less energy than they consume. Moreover, to manufacture, charge, use and dispose of batteries consumes energy and resources.

The idea of producing reliable grid power from intermittent green energy backed up by batteries looks possible in green doodle-diagrams, but would be absurdly inefficient and expensive.

We don’t have an electricity supply crisis – we have an energy policy crisis. Vote-seeking politicians with little understanding of markets, engineering or energy have passed costly laws, shuffled a pack of complex regulations, imposed discriminatory taxes and subsidies, set unrealistic targets, interfered in markets, and imposed death-by-delay on real energy explorers and developers.

Australia once had the world’s cheapest and most reliable electricity (before politicians became green socialists and started interfering). Now we have expensive electricity and much of it is unreliable, unpredictable and intermittent.
Let’s try free enterprise in the energy market before we all freeze in the dark.
