I am not surprised to read that woke cancel culture is now going after Sir Isaac Newton. What will be interesting is if Albert Einstein is on the list. US police are facing the same sort of knife problem that UK police face. If it is not teenagers squaring off against each other in knife fights, it is pets of the system attacking police with knives. The leftists scream when officers defend themselves with guns, which they seek to ban. Pepper spray sometimes fails against drugged good boys. Batons have bad optics, and fail as well, as in the Rodney King case. The batons are just too puny. That is why I recommend going medieval, that officers face knife wielders with even bigger blades, such a broad swords and katanas!  Instead of the fantasy of shooting the knife from the hand, the hand could be neatly removed with one sword swipe. I would recommend no surgical repairs, so the offence would not be repeated. Just joking, of course, but this makes as much sense as the claim that knife fights should be free.
