The Dangers of Runaway Environmentalism By James Reed

This truly is tragic; a woman tries to do the right thing environmentally using metal rather than plastic straws and ends up dying as she tragically fell over and it went through her eye. It shows how careful one must be; the world is a dangerous place indeed.

What Does A Low Life Bum Like Uncle Len and Paul McCartney’s Daughter Have in Common? By Uncle Len the Ever-Dirty

Ha! I have been waiting for this one my entire life, and now that moment is here! How sweet it is to see one’s entire life blossom at the last moment, the 11th hour. And it is all about dirty clothes, something I have spent my whole life in:
  https://www.bbc.com/news/world-48908413?utm_source=amerika.org

“"Basically, in life, rule of thumb: if you don't absolutely have to clean anything, don't clean it." Fashion designer Stella McCartney said this in an interview with the Observer this weekend, adding that she picked up the tip while working for bespoke tailors on London's prestigious Savile Row. Instead, she says, the "rule" is to "let the dirt dry and you brush it off". It may have been a throwaway comment at the end of the interview, but something about this line stuck with readers - many of whom have been doing several loads of laundry a week. So does she have a point? Is it better to avoid washing your clothes? Killing the planet one microfibre at a time This isn't the first time McCartney has recommended not washing our clothes. In fact, she has long advocated avoiding the washing machine - both for the longevity of the garments, but also because of the impact washing them has on the environment. Laura Diáz Sánchez, from the Plastic Soup Foundation advocacy group, agrees with this, particularly when it comes to high-street clothes, which contain more synthetic materials such as polyester and acrylic. "Every time we wash our clothes an average of nine million [plastic] microfibres are released into the environment," she tells BBC News. "The way we wash our clothes affects this, as well as the way our clothes are made - but the more we wash our clothes, the more microfibres are released."

Don’t Mess with Laura! By Paul Walker

We have seen stories almost daily abut how Facebook and other facets of Big Tech are in a progressive march to shut down what little remains of free speech. What though is being done to fight back? Trump could act, but he is not, and we could speculate about what they have on him that is ensuring his inevitable defeat and imprisonment of his entire family, bar Jared. Still, some brave souls are taking Facebook on in the courts, and hopefully they will win:
  https://lawandcrime.com/high-profile/laura-loomer-sues-facebook-for-billions-of-dollars/

“Laura Loomer is suing Facebook for alleged defamation after the social media platform banned her on the grounds that she was a “dangerous” individual. Loomer, a self-described nationalist who has elsewhere been described as a far-right activist, provocateur and conspiracy theorist, is being represented by Larry Klayman in the $3 billion lawsuit. According to the lawsuit, when Loomer was banned by Facebook on May 2 — along with Louis Farrakhan, Alex Jones, Milo Yiannopolous, and more — Facebook said it has “always banned individuals or organizations that promote or engage in violence and hate, regardless of ideology.” “The process for evaluating potential violators is extensive and it is what led us to our decision to remove these accounts today,” the statement continued. The lawsuit said that Facebook’s community standards on “Dangerous Individuals and Organizations” are defined as “organizations or individuals involved in the following: Terrorist activity, Organized hate, Mass or serial murder, Human trafficking, [or] Organized violence or criminal activity.” Loomer and her defense attorney said that she doesn’t “come close” to meeting that definition. “Ms. Loomer does not fall, or come close to falling, within any of the defined groups set forth by Defendant Facebook,” the lawsuit said. “Ms. Loomer has never once advocated violence against any person or group of persons.”

Letter to The Editor - The government's refusal to face reality is indeed "a significant backward step"

To The Australian        We need a very clear explanation indeed from the Prime Minister as to why he has changed his mind from last September, when he "described a constitutionally enshrined indigenous voice to parliament as unworkable and a third chamber of parliament" ("Wyatt wants to create a voice without shouting", 11/7). In the meantime there is nothing in the Minister for Indigenous Australians' latest speech that effectively out-argues the three most important objections to any kind of constitutional amendment favouring indigenous Australians, who are an ill-defined group at best. These are its danger, through its inherent divisiveness, to our national security and internal stability, and its inequitable dealing with non-indigenous Australians (the huge majority of us). The government's refusal to face reality is indeed "a significant backward step" ("Voice to Parliament carries the same risks it did two years ago", 11/7).

Letter to The Editor - All the genuine arguments supporting indigenous welfare can be met and satisfied without changing the Constitution

To The Age        There are three insuperable arguments against any kind of amendment to the Constitution favouring our indigenous peoples. It is fundamentally inequitable to non-indigenous Australians (the great majority of us). Secondly, by eroding our national unity, it threatens our national security (think of the growing threats of expansionist China and aggressive Islamic fundamentalism in Indonesia). Thirdly, it will cause internal instability through divisiveness based on ethnic difference. All the genuine arguments supporting indigenous welfare can be met and satisfied without changing the Constitution. Nothing in the latest speech of Minister for Indigenous Australians Ken Wyatt successfully addresses these very serious objections.

The Law and Tommy Robinson By Ian Wilson LL.B

There is a considerable amount of shock, horror from our side of politics about actionist Tommy Robinson going to gaol for filming defendants in the paedophilic child grooming gangs. Here I will make a dissenting opinion against Robinson, even though I agree that the mass rapes of perhaps a million White English children amount is at a wartime level of genocide:

Infinity Genders By Mrs Vera West

There are an infinity of genders, in principle, and if you say no, then expect to be smashed:
  https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2019/07/04/teen-who-declared-there-are-two-genders-barred-returning-school/

“A Scottish 17-year-old who was suspended for filming his teacher telling him that he could not say in class that there are only two genders has been told he cannot return to his school. The Aberdeenshire pupil, named Murray, had shared the video to social media because, according to a friend, he wanted to expose the left-progressive, anti-scientific ideologies being taught at Scottish schools, and expressed concern that telling very young children that “boys are girls and girls are boys” is “a very dangerous thing”. The viral footage revealed that the teen had been removed from class for stating that there are only two genders, with the teacher telling him that whilst the boy was entitled to his “opinion”, he could not share it at school because “the authority” and school policy dictated that there are many genders and to assert otherwise was “not acceptable” and tantamount to discrimination. “I know what you think, and I know what the authority thinks, I know the authority’s point of view is very clear,” the teacher is heard saying. Murray had been suspended for one week, according to the school on grounds of sharing the footage of his teacher without his consent, later tripled to three weeks. Now, the pupil has been told that he will not be able to return to Mearns Academy to finish his education, the Evening Standard reports.”

Bret Stevens on the Meaning of Tradition By Chris Knight

Bret Stevens has “pipe meditations,” where, as smoking is now beyond the pale, he gets some good tobacco, and lights up his pipe, sitting by the fire in his philosopher’s chair, with his smoking jacket on, and tells us like it is. Here are some pipe meditations on the meaning of tradition from a pro-northern European perspective:

“Pipe tobacco blends represent a different idea. They seek an order which transcends the ages, much as conservatives seek order generally where the Left seeks equality (individualism). You want to be able to smoke what your great-grandfather smoked, and pass it down to your grandson, because we know people and how we like our intoxicants, but in true time-honored form, have chosen the gentlest versions of these and made them excellent, like Royal Yacht. This shows us the nature of tradition. Step one is ego-death; you realize that you are simply a point in time along a long line, and that ultimately none of our concerns here matter that much. This helps, since you stop worrying about whether you got the right car or if your house is the best on the block. The big thing is to be part of something big. After that, you start to see the wisdom in order beyond the individual. You benefit most from a society that is stable and part of a thriving civilization, so that it carries on the things you enjoy and anything good that you do. If you make a stone river bridge in your hometown, it should be there for centuries or longer, as people fix and maintain it, keeping it alive just like the population around it, even as individual stones and humans drop out over time.

Can Conservatives Ever Awake Up? By Charles Taylor

Well blow me over! Our furry masked “friends” the Antifa, best known for bashing conservatives, do not have accounts that violate twit Twitter’s standards. Now, why would that be?
  https://www.breitbart.com/tech/2019/07/02/source-twitter-doesnt-consider-antifa-accounts-to-be-rule-violating/

“Twitter does not currently believe accounts expressing support for the violent extremist “Antifa” movement, including the account linked to last week’s brutal assault on journalist Andy Ngo, are in violation of its terms of service according to a person familiar with the situation. According to the source, Twitter believes that the “Rose City Antifa” account, the official Twitter presence of the Portland-based mob behind the attack on Ngo, is not currently in violation of the platform’s terms of service. This seems at odds with Twitter’s rules in a section titled “violent extremist groups” which reads, “Groups included in this policy will be those that identify as such or engage in activity — both on and off the platform — that promotes violence.”

Hollywood Exposed … Again By Mrs Vera West

The Nordic Sub-Race and the Metaphysics of Personhood By Brian Simpson

Individualism is a great and noble philosophy, but as seen with American libertarianism, it can go too far, like any doctrine pushed to the limits. Of course, the collectivism of socialism and communism goes too far in the opposite direction. Yet, anyone with knowledge of anthropology and human prehistory would understand that individualism arose as a philosophy along with the emergence of capitalism. Liberal ideas would have puzzled the ancient Greeks, who, no doubt contributed the best examples of individualism as well, paradoxically.

Still, in an age where other ethnic groups have group identity, almost to the extent of a “hive mind,” Anglo Saxons, and Northern Europeans (Nordics/ Nordish peoples) are a tribal group that will disappear unless they immediately begin stop falsely seeing themselves as “universal,” and assert group rights and identity. Sorry, but the deracination and dispossession has got to the level that these once majorities are soon to be demographically replaced:

The Great Replacement? By Chris Knight

The Left and establishment types, when they are not working on demographically displacing us, tell us that the “great displacement” is just a conspiracy. Oh, does that mean that when they themselves celebrate Whites becoming minorities in each nation across the Earth, that is untrue? Surely not. Yet, what other words describes these changing demographics? Anyway, for variety, here are some fellow thinkers from across the dirty pond discussing the same theme:

Drinking Milo, Reading Milo on the End of Free Speech By Charles Taylor

The ever-flamboyant, modern Liberace of conservativism, Milo Yiannopoulos, who is now broke and has written a book about it, appeared at the recent Washington DC free speech Rally and said it like it is. The failure to preserve traditional values has been because “good men” have, and are doing, nothing, and although he does not allude to the phrase by Edmund Burke (1729-1797), he expands on the idea in the present at Big Tech banning context. Of course, this is cited for information purposes only and does not imply our agreement with every point:

Nike and Selective Morality: Just. Don’t. Do. It. By Chris Knight
