What we are seeing across the world, exemplified by the bogus criminal charges against President Trump, are major dissent and conservative figures being cancelled. In Canada, psychologist Jordan Peterson was ordered to undergo re-education by the governing body of psychology, for some tweets. Some made sensible criticisms of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Trudeau's former chief of staff, Gerald Butts, and another was a re-tweet of a comment made by the leader of Canada's official opposition party regarding the unnecessary severity of Covid lockdowns, all fair comment. Peterson took the matter to court, and predictably enough, the court upheld the board’s absurd decision. He said: "I’m not complying. I’m not submitting to re-education. I am not admitting that my viewpoints — many of which have, by the way, been entirely justified by the facts that have emerged since the complaints were levied — were either wrong or unprofessional."”
