For BLM, 2 + 2 May Not Equal 4! By Brian Simpson

Now mathematics, basic arithmetic, gets social deconstruction, and 2 + 2 = 4, only because of white racism, or some such nonsense:
  https://summit.news/2020/07/07/blm-teacher-says-22-only-4-because-of-western-imperialism/

“A Black Lives Matter-supporting teacher took to Twitter to assert that 2+2 only = 4 because of “western imperialism.” Yes, really. Brittany Marshall’s tweet went viral after she claimed during the course of a discussion about racism, “Nope the idea of 2 + 2 equaling 4 is cultural and because of western imperialism/colonization, we think of it as the only way of knowing.” Marshall, who includes her pronouns in her bio, lists her occupation as “teacher, scholar, social justice change agent” and apparently is studying for a PhD at Rutgers. Her bizarre statement is yet another example of Intersectionality, the pseudo-intellectual garbage feminist notion taught in all major universities that racism and sexism are prevalent throughout all areas of society and are intertwined. In this case, Marshall appears to be arguing that maths itself is racist, an argument that has been made by numerous social justice warriors down the years, some of whom question why ‘Western Math’ is in common use and not other methods such as the way Aborigines count (maybe because we’re western and not Aborigine). The notion that 2+2 might not = 4 is of course lifted from George Orwell’s 1984, when the one party state was able to torture dissidents into believing it could equal 5. Respondents to the tweet expressed their varied opinions. “Unfortunately it’s nothing new,” remarked one. “There are videos circulating showing black students promoting to stop science because it represents white supremacy. They would prefer magic and voodoo.” “Scary thing is, this person is a teacher probably preaching the same nonsense to our children,” said another.”

After Biden: How the US Becomes a Socialist Republic in One Easy Step By Chris Knight

Probably by this time next year, when the US is a socialist republic, both myself and Charles Taylor will be in concentration camps or just shot dead. Unpleasant. Maybe I should come back to Australia before the election?
  https://thehill.com/opinion/campaign/505924-judd-gregg-the-coming-biden-coup

“It is more than a possibility, and slightly less than a likelihood, that Joe Biden will be elected president in November. Biden has made it clear that a woman will be his running mate. What is becoming equally apparent is that he may be cornered into choosing a socialist or progressive as that person. As he runs his campaign from his basement, allowing President Trump to stomp his feet and shout as he tries to mount a more traditional campaign, Biden has shown little inclination to take on his own foot-stomping base. Thus the socialist/progressive wing of the Democratic Party is now center stage — and insisting one of their own be Biden’s vice presidential candidate. That individual could be Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) or Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) or any number of lesser-known advocates for the far left. The underlying agenda is becoming more and more apparent:

Oh No! My Lecture Tour of China Will Now Have to be Cancelled! By James Reed

It seems that China is getting a little cheesed off with puny Australia flexing its tiny muscles, and may nab stray white sheep who go into their paddocks, and dock them. Or worse, with rumours that some problematic rams may well face the elastrator rings.
  https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/australia-tells-citizens-they-risk-arbitrary-detention-while-traveling-through-china

“The Australian government has issued a provocative new warning sure to damage already rocky and worsening relations with Beijing, updating travel advice for China telling Aussies they risk 'arbitrary detention' while traveling through the communist-run country. Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs revised the travel advice on Tuesday with this new phrase: “Authorities have detained foreigners because they’re ‘endangering national security’. Australians may also be at risk of arbitrary detention.” Similar to the situation with the Trump administration, there's been a developing tit-for-tat leveling of accusations between Australia and China, including last week's charge from Beijing that Australia is waging an "espionage offensive". Already there had been travel warnings related to coronavirus restrictions when for months prior as authorities in China struggled to get the pandemic under control, but this latest official travel guidance for Aussies is somewhat unprecedented given its politically charged nature. It will also no doubt hurt the Chinese tourism industry, given Australians are among the most frequent foreign travelers when it comes to southeast Asia. The move could also be linked to the new Hong Kong national security law which went into effect July 1st, and has since been roundly condemned by the US, UK, and European countries. Australian media has cited Feng Chongyi, an Associate Professor in China Studies at the University of Technology Sydney, to explain of the travel update: "I think it is a precautional response given that the Hong Kong version of the National Security Law has been so broad and vague," he said. "In a sense that it subjects almost everyone into arbitrary detention," he added according to Australia's ABC. Local media has also warned of a "hostage diplomacy" type scenario in which China could detain Australian citizens on trumped up charges in order to gain leverage in any negotiations.”

Was America Founded on a Mistake, or a Lie? By Charles Taylor

I always suspected that the American Revolution, the Revolutionary War, was a New World Order set-up, in the early Illuminati/Adam Weishaupt mode, who is pretty much like the standard intellectual of today. Here is a mainstream site going on about him; I don’t have any classic conspiratorial books, but I am sure you on-line library will have them, and in fact, before the article is over, my monkey, who acts as my research assistance, will find the links.
  https://www.livescience.com/40048-what-is-the-illuminati.html

“The Illuminati was an 18th-century secret society made up of numerous influential intellectuals and freethinkers of the time. The organization, which is also known as the Bavarian Illuminati, opposed the Roman Catholic Church's control over philosophy and science; promoted the education of women and their treatment as equals; sought to "enlighten" people's minds and free them from superstitions and prejudices; and tried to reduce the oppression of the state. The Illuminati was the brainchild of Adam Weishaupt, who was the chair of canon law and later the dean of the faculty of law at the University of Ingolstadt in Bavaria (a state in southeast Germany) in the early 1770s, according to "New England and the Bavarian Illuminati" (Columbia University Press, 1918), a nonfiction book about the secret society. Weishaupt was vocally critical of the "intolerance and bigotry" of the church, which, at the time, held strong influence over the University of Ingolstadt, as well the politics and government of Bavaria. His criticisms resulted in clashes with the Jesuits, leading Weishaupt to conclude that a secret organization of liberal-minded individuals was necessary to outwit the "enemies of reason." He initially sought to join one of the Freemason lodges, but lacked the funds to do so and felt the order was too well-known to the general public. So, on May 1, 1776, Weishaupt formed the Order of the Illuminati with four other members.

WHO Comes Clean on China Corona Mania By Brian Simpson

It is all coming out now, how China never reported the Covid-19 pandemic:
  https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/07/04/who-quietly-admits-chinese-communist-party-never-reported-coronavirus-outbreak/

“The World Health Organization (WHO) quietly updated a timeline this week to reflect that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) never reported its discovery of the coronavirus to the WHO and that the global health agency had to learn about it by itself, despite the WHO’s praise of Chinese transparency. An old WHO timeline of the virus, published on its website, stated:

The Overseas Chinese By James Reed

As we move towards China war, this is one of the hard questions that will need to be thought about.
  https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2020/07/05/red-guards-in-britain-china-ambassador-calls-on-chinese-students-in-uk-to-serve-the-motherland/

“Harkening back to the rhetoric of Mao Zedong during the Cultural Revolution, China’s ambassador in London has called on Chinese university students studying in the United Kingdom to “serve your motherland”, amid growing concern about the influence of Beijing on Western campuses. In recently unearthed comments made to the Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad, Ambassador Liu Xiaoming said: “I hope you will carry on the glorious tradition of patriotism. I hope you will always live your personal dreams in the greater cause of striving for the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.” Currently, there are an estimated 120,000 Chinese students in the United Kingdom. In November, the Foreign Affairs Committee found that students from China are actively engaged in a propaganda effort on campuses to push a pro-CCP narrative and to stifle free speech on sensitive issues for the party such as Taiwan and Hong Kong. The efforts made by some Chinese students are often organised by university branches of the Confucius Institute, which claims to be merely a vehicle to spread Chinese language and culture, but is in fact a subsidiary of the Chinese Ministry of Education which is under the supervision of the Communist Party’s central propaganda department. There are at present 29 Confucius Institutes throughout Britain, second only to the United States. Chinese Confucius Institute officials have been accused in Britain of confiscating papers that mention Taiwan as well as shutting down campus events which focused on Taiwan or Tibet.”

Who Will Win Civil War 2.0? By Charles Taylor (Florida)

John Mark does a summary of a Red Team analysis of how an American civil war will go, using 4th generation concepts. Sure, everyone adds the caveat, from our side, that no one advocates violence etc., we don’t want it, it is all just abstract, theory etc. But, a civil war is inevitable because the non-white demographic revolution has made Donald Trump the last Republican president. Mass immigration, and the demographic changes will make whites truly a dispossessed majority-come minority. Anyway, there goes democracy. And my caveat: I am just reporting on the discussion, advocating nothing. In a nut shell, and I have seen military types say the same, the new government and its legions would lose, despite numbers of grunters. Nukes and high power, high tech destructive weapons (e.g. killer drones) weapons can’t be used because it will destroy all the yummy infrastructure, and cannot differentiate between Red and Blue. So, it goes back to man on man, and sheer numbers don’t count for much over strategy, as theorists as far back as Sun Tzu recognised. Things like Blue states being less food self-sufficient, vulnerable infrastructure etc. matters. And, the video goes into much more. In short, there are simply more grass roots Right-wingers than the system, including police and military, because of private firearm ownership. Even the Dissent right alone would be enough, the video claims, and a sizeable proportion of the police and military will defect.
  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJh7Ye1Qvc8&feature=emb_title
  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XyR2P9wb9yg

Of course, none one is advocating violence, and I am certainly not, merely reporting in the public interest, except our opponents, who are actually burning down America and killing, but many believe that it is going to happen at some point. In fact, it is happening already, although one-sided. The answer from the video is not civil war, which will be bloodier than the first one, but separationism, the great divorce. He appeals to the Left to start this process now. Thus, the question is: can this be done without further violence? Many see the collapse and an era of violence as inevitable now, but I still have fleeting hopes that something may be pulled out of the dying embers.

A Brief History Lesson about the Black Lives Matter Movement By Chris Knight

I have not seen anything on the standard Right/conservative sites about the origins of the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement, but then I saw this, and the information is worth passing on. This extract is by Dr. Guy Millière, a professor at the University of Paris, the author of 27 books on France and Europe.
  https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/16182/overthrow-the-usa

“Two movements have been active in the violence. One is Antifa, which has been called "a revolutionary Marxist/anarchist militia movement that seeks to bring down the United States by means of violence and intimidation." Antifa, although it claims to be antifascist, behaves in a fascistic way. The other movement, Black Lives Matter, was founded in 2013 by three black women, Alicia Garza, Opal Tometi and Patrisse Cullors. Cullors declared that she and Garza are "trained Marxists". The Black Lives Matter founding manifesto, published in 2016 (then removed from BLM website), describes the United States as a "corrupt democracy originally built on Indigenous genocide and chattel slavery" that "continues to thrive on the brutal exploitation of people of color" and that perpetuates "the ugly American traditions of patriarchy, classism, racism, and militarism". In December 2014, a slogan at a Black Lives Matter demonstration organized by Al Sharpton's National Action Network, was: "What do we want? Dead cops. When do we want it? Now." If Antifa is widely rejected, Black Lives Matter is not. Its name has become a slogan on walls, storefronts and restaurants. The posters state: "No justice, no peace." There are widespread calls for defunding or abolishing the police. The city council of Minneapolis in fact voted on June 6 to disband its police force. New York Mayor Bill de Blasio cut $1 billion from New York City's $6 billion police budget. At least six other cities have also slashed police budgets. What seems to be trying to gain more influence is a wish -- born before the riots -- to rewrite the history of the United States. The New York Times, for instance, on August, 14, 2019, launched "The 1619 Project". Its author, Nikole Hannah Jones, wrote that the United States had been founded on slavery and is therefore -- presumably still -- guilty of "structural racism."

A Spoonful of Cinnamon Makes the Medicine Go Down … By Mrs Vera West

I did not know before reading this, how good for you simple cinnamon is, the stuff not impregnated with sugar, just pure and natural, organic if possible:
  https://healthprep.com/fitness-nutrition/ways-cinnamon-benefits-health/?utm_source=subscribers&utm_medium=push&utm_campaign=ways-cinnamon-benefits-health&utm_content=2020-07-05&utm_term=19

“In 2003, the journal Diabetes Care described a study in which researchers gave different amounts of cinnamon to diabetes patients, while a control group was given a placebo. After forty days, the researchers found the patients who had been consuming cinnamon had lower glucose, triglycerides, and low-density lipoprotein (bad) cholesterol. By contrast, the cinnamon had no to little effect on patients high-density lipoprotein (good) cholesterol. The researchers concluded adding cinnamon to the diets of patients with type 2 diabetes would reduce risk factors linked to cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Ten years later, the Annals of Family Medicine described a study in which researchers reviewed several different medical trials. They found cinnamon actually increased participants high-density lipoprotein cholesterol while reducing their low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, glucose, and triglycerides. In 2014, Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine described an analysis of various studies of cinnamon’s medical benefits. The scientists found cinnamon, in addition to reducing low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and glucose, could also lower blood pressure by reducing constriction of the blood vessels. All of these effects can cut down the risk of heart disease.”

Maoist Cultural Revolution 2.0 By Michael Ferguson

What we are seeing in the US very clearly, and to a very much lesser degree here in Australia, are elements of a Maoist cultural revolution, complete with antifa playing the role of the Red guard, a shock force that engaged in urban terrorism, to keep the masses in line. Here is material discussing how the present American revolution has many elements of China’s cultural revolution, and I would not be surprised if behind it all we will find communist China, backing it.
  www.jenniferzengblog.com/home/2020/6/18/comparison-chinas-cultural-revolution-versus-the-us-today

“The death of George Floyd, an African American, has sparked unrest and turmoil in the United States and around the world. The scale and the intensity of the riots have raised many eyebrows, as well as alarmed many Chinese who came from China and have personally experienced the Cultural Revolution there. Some of them ask: “Are we experiencing another Cultural Revolution or Cultural Revolution 2.0 in the U.S.?” Today, I’d like to talk about some of the similarities between the Cultural Revolution in China and what is currently happening in the U.S. and other countries.

China Just Does What it Wants, No Consequences By Brian Simpson

The Covid-19 madness could have been prevented by China just acting, morally, or even quicker:
  https://www.southampton.ac.uk/news/2020/03/covid-19-china.page
  https://thehill.com/blogs/congress-blog/foreign-policy/505373-wuhan-is-the-final-straw-the-world-needs-to-divest-from
  https://www.southampton.ac.uk/news/2020/03/covid-19-china.page

“The global influence of the Chinese Communist Party both economically and militarily is one of the most concerning stories so far in the 21st century. Despite years of human rights abuses, currency manipulation, dishonest trade practices, and threats to democracy, the Chinese communist government has been able to grow its economy and influence throughout the world at a breathtaking pace. The current COVID-19 pandemic, and the global economic upheaval it has created, has exposed China as the reckless, dishonest member of the global community that many of us knew them to be. The outbreak in Wuhan and the communist government’s efforts to keep this quiet have led to a global catastrophe. National security advisor Robert O’Brien suggested that this cover up delayed the global response to COVID-19 by two months while the Chinese government allowed its own people to continue traveling to Wuhan and abroad, infecting the world. A study from Southampton University in England found that if China had acted sooner, the damage could have been mitigated by 95 percent. This is staggering when looking at the lives lost and the economic turmoil created. Instead of alerting the world, the Chinese government silenced its doctors, forbidding them from sharing information which could have spared so many lives. This negligence is compounded by the fact that China either failed or refused to follow the rules imposed by the World Health Organization following an outbreak of SARS in 2003 - the last time China gifted us with a global pandemic.

Now Dictionaries Will Define Whites as Racist! By Chris Knight

Our enemies are beyond reason; they must be politically fought, and defeated, or they will utterly destroy Western civilisation. Whites are already being defined as the only possible racists, even though this is illogical and conceptually absurd.
  https://www.naturalnews.com/2020-07-01-merriam-webster-change-definition-racism-only-white-people.html

“According to far-leftists, the only people who are capable of “racism” are those with lighter skin. And a recent college graduate from Drake University in Iowa has successfully petitioned Merriam-Webster Dictionary to redefine the word as such. Kennedy Mitchum, a 22-year-old black woman, says that racism is a phenomenon exclusive to “white” people. She majored in “law, politics and society,” after all, so she would know, she claims. Black people are always and only victims of racism, while white people are always and only perpetrators of it. It is really this black and white, according to Mitchum, who became triggered upon the realization that the Merriam-Webster Dictionary seems to imply that anyone can be racist. “With everything going on, I think it’s really important that everyone is on the same page,” Mitchum told a local news station in her home state of Missouri about the “systemic racism” that she believes undergirds the very definition of the word “racism.” Currently, the Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines racism as “a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities.” It adds that “racism” also includes the belief that “racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.” Because the white race is inherently racist against the black race, according to Mitchum, this generic definition of “racism” has got to go. Instead, it will be redefined to target specifically white people, whom Mitchum believes are oppressors in American society. As you may recall, this is the same thing that racist Sarah Jeong from The New York Times also believes.

Australia About to Do a Bob Hawke 2.0 By James Reed

I must agree with China against Australia on this one, even though I am a China critic, in general; taking in the Hong Kong antifa is an unnecessary antagonism of China, and it is only done because of immigration mania. China has warned both us and New Zealand to butt out of their internal affairs. Given that there are rising tensions now, and that defence gurus are warning as well that armed conflict is coming, we really do not want to be inflaming the situation prematurely, at least until we can get together a few soldiers in their utes for a five-minute symbolic defence.

The Highwayman By John Steele

While most modern music is degenerate, country and western remains somewhat pure. Here are two versions of the classic “The Highwayman,” the first by the greats of country music singing together, and the second by Glenn Campbell’s daughter. And, what a tough dude this eternal Highwayman is, surviving hanging, being buried in concrete … that is the spirit of resistance “ I guess I will always be around.” Probably about the Faustian spirit of our race. And, I hope that it is true in these dark times. Darkness indeed.

Scientists Get Cancelled By Brian Simpson

I knew that the Nobel prize winner for the DNA discovery, James D. Watson, got his reputation cancelled, for pointing out intelligence differences between Blacks and Whites. Now the elites are going after another academic who most of us have never heard of, Steven Pinker.
  http://www.occidentaldissent.com/2020/07/04/todays-cancellations-6/
  https://docs.google.com/document/d/17ZqWl5grm_F5Kn_0OarY9Q2jlOnk200PvhM5e3isPvY/mobilebasic?urp=gmail_link

“Dear Linguistic Society of America,
This is an open letter by members of the linguistics community calling for the removal of Dr. Steven Pinker from both our list of distinguished academic fellows and our list of media experts. We, the undersigned, believe that Dr. Pinker’s behavior as a public academic is not befitting of a representative of our professional organization, that the LSA’s own stated goals make such a conclusion inevitable, and that the LSA should publicly reaffirm its position and distance itself from Dr. Pinker. Induction into the list of LSA fellows is one of the highest signals of prestige in the linguistic community. Often, fellows are seen as the first line of academic linguistic authority, and trustworthy sources of linguistic knowledge. Lay people and members of the press reach out to fellows and media experts for official statements. We feel that fellows therefore have a responsibility that comes with the honor, credibility, and visibility allotted them by their distinguished appointment. Dr. Pinker does not live up to this standard. As we demonstrate below, Dr. Pinker’s behavior is systematically at odds with the LSA’s recently issued statement on racial justice, which argues that “listening to and respecting [the experience of students of color] is crucial, as is acknowledging and addressing rather than overlooking or denying the role of the discipline of linguistics in the reproduction of racism.” Instead, Dr. Pinker has a history of speaking over genuine grievances and downplaying injustices, frequently by misrepresenting facts, and at the exact moments when Black and Brown people are mobilizing against systemic racism and for crucial changes. Though no doubt related, we set aside questions of Dr. Pinker’s tendency to move in the proximity of what The Guardian called a revival of “scientific racism”, his public support for David Brooks (who has been argued to be a proponent of “gender essentialism”), his expert testimonial in favor of Jeffrey Epstein (which Dr. Pinker now regrets), or his dubious past stances on rape and feminism. Nor are we concerned with Dr. Pinker’s academic contributions as a linguist, psychologist and cognitive scientist. Instead, we aim to show here Dr. Pinker as a public figure has a pattern of drowning out the voices of people suffering from racist and sexist violence, in particular in the immediate aftermath of violent acts and/or protests against the systems that created them.”

The Eternally Evasive Old Age Pension By Mrs Vera West

For many today, the old age pension is a moving fence, a horizon that ever resides, since the state wastes so much money on multiculturalism, immigration and diversity, that there is nothing left to reward hard working citizens for a lifetime of slaving away. Talk about being expendable!
  https://theconversation.com/amp/retirement-age-is-increasing-but-our-new-study-reveals-most-only-work-ten-years-in-good-health-after-50-141227

“Though we’re living longer, this doesn’t necessarily mean our health will allow us to work for additional years. Healthy working life expectancy tells us the average number of years people in a population are likely to be healthy and in paid work from the age of 50. Healthy working life expectancy focuses on working life after age 50, which is when health problems (such as common age-related diseases, including pain or mobility issues) can make it difficult for people to continue working or find a job that fits their needs. Our study of healthy working life expectancy found that on average, people in England can expect to be healthy and in work for almost nine and a half years after age 50. However, these years are not necessarily lived consecutively as people may temporarily leave work or experience health problems. These findings came from data on 15,284 people aged over 50 in England who were interviewed several times from 2002 to 2013. Compared to the national average, healthy working life expectancy is higher for men (10.94 years) and lower for women (8.25 years). We also found that healthy working life expectancy is higher for people in non-manual or self-employed occupations (such as office workers) than those in manual occupations (such as electricians or care workers). It also increased alongside education level. People also tend to have longer healthy working lives in the south compared to the north of England. This reflects the worse health and economic conditions typically seen in the north. The amount and type of jobs available regionally also influence differences in healthy working life expectancy, as people who cannot find a job that suits them won’t be able to continue working. We also split the population into five equal-sized groups based on deprivation. We found that the people living in the least deprived areas tended to stay healthy and in work for almost four years longer (10.53 years) than those living in the most deprived areas (6.80 years).

Cold Comfort By Viv Forbes

Before sunrise yesterday, the grass temperature in Washpool, "Sunny Queensland" was minus 1.7 deg. There was no wind or sunshine. Wind turbines were becalmed and not even moonbeams energised our solar panels. In that still, frosty darkness, green energy failed again. Not a watt came from becalmed wind "farms" or from subsidized solar panels cluttering many roofs (including ours). But we didn't need our diesel in the shed - we were
saved by trusty Old King Coal, with maybe a dash of gas or hydro. Reliable 24/7 generators provided pre-dawn power-by-wire for lights, heaters and coffee before we checked the frosty flats for new-born lambs.

Letter to The Editor - Art and egalitarianism do not go well together

To The Australian        Our public life is being spoiled by dogmatic agitators who bring their political fanaticism into issues of public memorials. Defacing or destroying memorials without adequate authority to do so is contemptible behaviour. Also on the wrong track is Lance Chadd when he calls for "equality" in the country's suite of public memorials ("Monumental time in indigenous history", 4-5/7). The criteria for acceptance and admiration should be quality of life lived (and contribution made to the nation or community) and quality of artistic representation of the person or persons concerned. Art and egalitarianism do not go well together. And the fact that some of our benefactors had bad sides to their character is not a justification for rejecting celebration of the real good they actually accomplished.

Letter to The Editor - We need more magnanimity and less partisan outrage in our public forums

To The Australian        There is a lot to be said for Hugh Trevor-Roper's defence of British traitor Anthony Blunt ("Scholar with a grudge over Cambridge snub brought spy Blunt to book", 6/7). Yes, he had been elected a fellow of the British Academy "for his scholarship, not his politics, morals or patriotism." A similar magnanimity does not seem to have been shown to historian David Starkey ("Historian quits over slavery outrage", 6/7). Starkey used inappropriate language in a recent interview, but the actual case he made appears to be sound. Being ousted from Cambridge University and HarperCollins seems an excessive punishment. We need more magnanimity and less partisan outrage in our public forums. We also need a sense of balance, undisturbed by fanaticism.
