If it Kills Us All too Bad; All that Matters is a Quick Buck! By Brian Simpson

The 5 G networks are going up with no concern by the elites about any health safety. Sure, it makes money for us, so how could it be bad? After all, as Zero Hedge.com says, “on a long enough time scale, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.” Or as Lord Keynes more concisely put it: in the long run we are all dead. But Keynes also said the men will not always die quietly.

“Today, there is a growing body of scientific evidence that indicates that the electromagnetic radiation that we are constantly being bombarded with is not good for us.  Hundreds of scientists that are engaged in research in this area have signed the “International EMF Scientist Appeal”, and this is how that document begins… We are scientists engaged in the study of biological and health effects of non-ionizing electromagnetic fields (EMF). Based upon peer-reviewed, published research, we have serious concerns regarding the ubiquitous and increasing exposure to EMF generated by electric and wireless devices. These include–but are not limited to–radiofrequency radiation (RFR) emitting devices, such as cellular and cordless phones and their base stations, Wi-Fi, broadcast antennas, smart meters, and baby monitors as well as electric devices and infra-structures used in the delivery of electricity that generate extremely-low frequency electromagnetic field (ELF EMF).

Poop Patrol By Chris Knight

The benefits of a first world country sliding down into fifth world status, as often ignored. Across California, for example, and especially San Fanny, homeless people freely empty their bowels, everywhere, clearly out pacing dogs in filling the streets with poop. So much of these flows everywhere that major medical conferences get cancelled because elite doctors do not want to step in the brown messages of love from their fellow humans. Talk about discrimination and lack of appreciation of diversity!

“In San Francisco, you can earn more than $184,000 a year in salary and benefits for cleaning up feces. As members of the city's "Poop Patrol," workers are entitled to $71,760 a year, plus an additional $112,918 in benefits, such as healthcare and retirement savings, the San Francisco Chronicle reported. In August, the city announced that five staffers from the San Francisco Department of Public Works would soon roam the Tenderloin neighborhood — where nearly half of the city's homeless population is — in search of waste. The staffers will begin their efforts each afternoon equipped with a steam cleaner for sanitizing the streets. The full budget for the initiative, $830,977, signifies a concerted effort to address the city's mounting feces problem, which has resulted in more than 14,500 calls to 311, the city's non-emergency-services line, since the beginning of the year, the Chronicle previously reported.

Religion and the Joy of Sex! By Mrs Vera West

Of course, for most of us, sex is but a pleasant distant memory, but remember the wise words of Desiderata by Max Ehrmann, 1948:

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore, be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

Vdare and American Renaissance On IQ Fetishism By Brian Simpson

Vdare.com, which is, along with American Renaissance, is said to be “associated with white supremacy,” has published an article arguing that “Evolution has made Jews more intelligent than white people. Race differences in IQ are genetic. And in that IQ is strongly genetic and races are genetic clusters.” This is not precise expression in my opinion,  but I pass over that.

This is the gloss provided by journalist Lance Welton, about the paper: “Polygenic Scores Mediate the Jewish Phenotypic Advantage in Educational Attainment and Cognitive Ability Compared with Catholics and Lutherans,”

The Suiciding of Youth By Mrs Vera West

Having recovered from the election I am back on deck reporting on health and social issues. And, surely one of the most worrying symptoms of social angst is suicide, especially youth suicide which can be taken as a measure of social stress in a society, for if the young kill themselves in high numbers, something must be drastically wrong. And it is:

“Suicide rates among young girls are surging in the US and catching up to the number of boys that take their own lives, new research finds. Men and boys have always been at greater risk of dying by suicide - although attempts are more common among girls and women - but that gap is closing. Since 2007, the suicide rate among girls has increased at nearly twice the rate that boys' suicides have. And girls are choosing more violent means, like hanging and choking, to take their own lives than they have in the past, a worrisome departure, according to Nationwide Children's Hospital researchers.”

The Roundup on Roundup By Mrs Vera West

I once knew a farmer who said that Roundup was so safe that one could drink it! However, he is not around today, having died a few years back from cancer, which I am sure had nothing to do with his drinking habits!

“Now, a third court case has ruled that Monsanto’s toxic weed killer caused cancer among those who used it. In this case, a California jury has returned an astonishing $2 billion award for the plaintiffs who say Roundup caused their cancers. “Bayer AG was ordered to pay more than $2 billion in damages to a California couple that claimed they got cancer as a result of using its Roundup weedkiller for about three decades,” reports Bloomberg.com. It’s one of the largest jury awards ever recorded in the history of humanity, and it shows that Bayer is now facing “financial annihilation” because there are over 13,000 additional lawsuits pending. If 10,000 lawsuits each result in a jury award of just $100 million — the low side of awards so far — this would cost Bayer $1 trillion, plunging the evil corporation into financial ruin. Since acquiring Monsanto, Bayer’s share price has plunged more than 40 percent, meaning the chemical giant has already lost tens of billions of dollars in market capitalization. Since Bayer inherited all of Monsanto’s liabilities when it acquired the company — and because Roundup has been in use by the public for over three decades — Bayer could face at least another decade of lawsuits that add up to multiple trillions of dollars in damages.”

The Dangers of Kissing! By Mrs Vera West

As I have been arguing for many years here, a return to chastity is the only sure way to avoid a whole host of sexually transmitted diseases. And, on the STI front things are getting worse, with kissing now becoming a danger. Apologies for discussing a somewhat unpleasant topic for Christian conservatives, but those of us with children and grandchildren, in this hyper-sexualised culture, need to be up to date on the issues. Here is the report:

“Kissing with tongues can spread the sexually transmitted infection gonorrhoea, researchers have warned. Scientists say the STI can be caught through saliva – despite the NHS dismissing kissing as a way of passing it on.
And spreading the infection this way may be more common than expected, the Australian researchers claimed. They found gay men were more likely to have gonorrhoea in their throat than their penis – and the risk of spreading it was greater for kissing than for oral sex. Antiseptic mouthwash could, the scientists suggested, be created to try and kill the bacteria, which can cause a sore throat and swollen lymph nodes. The research into oropharyngeal gonorrhoea comes amid growing concerns about 'super' strains of the STI that are becoming resistant to medicine. Scientists at Monash University and the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre in Australia surveyed around 3,000 gay and bisexual men in the city.

A Spoonful of Honey By Mrs Vera West

John sent me the link dealing with the benefits of Manuka honey, such as its healing and anti-germ qualities. There are medical articles that document the use of honey in dealing with wounds in the field. But while Manuka honey is top shelf, organic honey obtained from your friendly neighbourhood bee keeper will do just fine. The commercial honeys available at the supermarket may be sugared up or watered down. What one needs is purity. This is definitely something that should be stored in a coolish place out of sunlight. It is a gift to us from Mother nature and the humble bee.

Sun Screens or Sun Screams? By Mrs Vera West

First, no medical advice is being offered here, we are just reporting on news. For medical advice see a professional. There, now the item:

“Scientists have urged the public to continue using sunscreen to protect against skin cancer, after a study showed the body can absorb ingredients found in common sunblock products. The study involved 24 healthy people who applied four common types of sunscreen on their skin. Researchers randomly assigned the participants one of four sunscreens: either one of two sprays, a lotion, or a cream. They put the cream on 75 percent of their bodies, four times a day, for four days. Over the course of 7 days, including the days sunscreen was used, the scientists collected 30 blood samples from the participants. The team looked at four ingredients: avobenzone,  oxybenzone, octocrylene, and ecamsule. The research published in the journal JAMA was a randomized clinical trial, as well as what is known as a maximal usage trial. This is where researchers assess whether the active ingredients in a product applied to the skin are absorbed into the body when it is used at its maximum recommended level. At the end of the study, the team found concentrations of the active ingredients in participants’ blood. These exceeded the levels set by the Food and Drug Administration which determine whether a product needs safety testing.

5 G Could End it All! By Brian Simpson

A world of the internet of things, where everything from your phone down to your house and fridge and toilet are controlled by computers, which are controlled by the trolls working for the masters of the Universe, is now pretty much old hat. Yawn, what tyranny have you got to whip us with today? Surely something new and horrific? Well, maybe 5 G could mercifully end it all, taking the bad guys down too, in a kind of passive Ragnarök of poetic justice on a cosmic scale.

Anyway, Dr Martin Pall has posted a research paper putting down all of the technical health issues, and things do look bad:

Eat Insects before Insects Eat You! By Brian “the Brain” Simpson

Yo, thanks to Chris for digging this tasty story out from the survivalist woodpile, where all the insects are. And, as the thunder roars and lightening flashes across the Melbourne skies, and I wonder if I will get electrocuted typing this article, we may have to eat insects so that everybody has enough food to continue reproducing to produce food crisis 2.0, and so on until there is no room even for the insects on the planet:

“As an alternative to meat, one scientist has suggested that humans will acquire the habit of eating maggots in order to reach their protein intake requirements. “Maggot sausages” will be the “meat” of the future according to an Australian scientist, Dr. Louwrens Hoffman. Food scientists at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia are incorporating insects such as maggots and locusts into a range of specialty foods, including sausage, as well as formulating sustainable insect-based feeds for the livestock themselves. “Would you eat a commercial sausage made from maggots? What about other insect larvae and even whole insects like locusts? The biggest potential for sustainable protein production lies with insects and new plant sources,” said Dr. Hoffman. Hoffman says that the meat industry is not sustainable, but people can start eating insects instead. “An overpopulated world is going to struggle to find enough protein unless people are willing to open their minds, and stomachs, to a much broader notion of food,” said Hoffman.

Fructose on the Brain By Mrs Vera West

I have written some articles linking material putting the case that some fruits, being high in fructose, may need to be rationed, even though these fruit contain highly beneficial nutrients. This is somewhat paradoxical, but we live in an inane world, where layers upon layers of contradictions confront us daily. Here is more information about health concerns about fructose:

“… the sweetener affects numerous genes in the brain. Fructose causes gene alterations that are linked to serious diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease and diabetes. However, the researchers from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) who conducted the study also said that these harmful changes can be reversed by the omega-3 fatty acid DHA. So eating healthy foods rich in omega-3s can restore the health of people who consume unhealthy amounts of fructose. For their study, the researchers examined the genes, pathways, and networks affected by fructose. They first taught rats how to escape from a maze then divided the trained animals into three groups. They gave the rats in the first and second group water containing the same amount of fructose found in a liter of soda but they also fed the second group foods rich in DHA. Meanwhile, they did not give the third group any sweetened water or DHA. The rats lived on those diets for six weeks. Then the researchers returned them to the same maze to test their memory. (Related: Are you one of the 60 percent of people who have trouble digesting fructose?)

Insanity USA By Chris Knight

A quickie proof of the insanity of contemporary America. After the failed CIA coup in Venezuela, the UY,  a country which is oh so concerned about other nations “interfering” in its politics in any way, even exposing evil doings, now has put all the cards on the table regarding Venezuela. That means full military invasion. Yet, the elites fight to allow the Mexican border be open regardless of who comes in. This is beyond pathological, and is nothing more than a country in the terminal stages of death.

“The primary objective of the American Left — and, really, the global Left — is the destruction of the United States as founded, period. … Thus, if you look at the issues that are important to Democrats and you examine their political objectives and view the policies they pursue through this lens, you can begin to understand why they do the things they do. Take the migrant invasion currently occurring along our U.S.-Mexico border. To any rational American, the right thing to do would be to give the president and our governing institutions all the diplomatic, financial, and physical tools required to secure it. But instead, Democrats fight the president tooth and nail. And what’s happening? Not only are the migrants overwhelming our ability to handle the onslaught, because of the way our laws are written — and because Democrats refuse to work with Republicans and the president to change them — federal immigration officials have been forced to release disease-ridden migrants into our cities, thus exposing Americans to diseases we eradicated long ago.

Electric Cars and the Colonial Exploitation of Children Miners By James Reed

I continue my conceptual rampage against the Greenies’ most sacred icon, next to illegal migrants, electric cars.

“Picking through a mountain of huge rocks with his tiny bare hands, the exhausted little boy makes a pitiful sight. His name is Dorsen and he is one of an army of children, some just four years old, working in the vast polluted mines of the Democratic Republic of Congo, where toxic red dust burns their eyes, and they run the risk of skin disease and a deadly lung condition. Here, for a wage of just 8p a day, the children are made to check the rocks for the tell-tale chocolate-brown streaks of cobalt – the prized ingredient essential for the batteries that power electric cars. And it’s feared that thousands more children could be about to be dragged into this hellish daily existence – after the historic pledge made by Britain to ban the sale of petrol and diesel cars from 2040 and switch to electric vehicles. Dorsen, just eight, is one of 40,000 children working daily in the mines of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The terrible price they will pay for our clean air is ruined health and a likely early death.

The World Just Keeps Getting Sadder By Bruce Bennett

Look, it can’t be as bad as you guys keep saying. Sure, Rome collapsed, a long time ago, but we have technology and the internet, there is still some sunshine, and I had a good steak meal last night, washed down with a few cold beers. What could possibly be wrong?

“According to a major analysis of global well-being, the world really is getting more miserable. Human beings worldwide are sadder, angrier and more fearful than they have ever been before.  Something just isn’t right on Earth. In Gallup’s annual Global State of Emotions report, all three emotions (sadness, anger, and fear) rose to record levels in 2018, for the second consecutive year. Chad took the undesirable honor of being the world’s most negative country. Wrought with war, political crisis, and human rights violations, the country is the world’s worst in terms of emotional health, according to CNN. Gallup charted humanity’s prolonged slump by holding 151,000 interviews in 2018 with adults in more than 140 countries. It has measured emotions annually since 2006. In 2018, about 4 in 10 people said they experienced a lot of worry the day before the interview, while a third said they were stressed and nearly 3 in 10 said they felt a lot of physical pain.

Blame it on Pesticides By Mrs Vera West

One is supposed to be conspiratorial, if not “racist’ for blaming disorders like autism on pesticides. How dare anyone criticise our beautiful Big Agri! But, then there is this newly released paper in the British Medical Journal:

“Objective To examine associations between early developmental exposure to ambient pesticides and autism spectrum disorder. Design Population based case-control study. Setting California’s main agricultural region, Central Valley, using 1998-2010 birth data from the Office of Vital Statistics. Population 2961 individuals with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder based on the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, fourth edition, revised (up to 31 December 2013), including 445 with intellectual disability comorbidity, were identified through records maintained at the California Department of Developmental Services and linked to their birth records. Controls derived from birth records were matched to cases 10:1 by sex and birth year. Exposure Data from California state mandated Pesticide Use Reporting were integrated into a geographic information system tool to estimate prenatal and infant exposures to pesticides (measured as pounds of pesticides applied per acre/month within 2000 m from the maternal residence). 11 high use pesticides were selected for examination a priori according to previous evidence of neurodevelopmental toxicity in vivo or in vitro (exposure defined as ever v never for each pesticide during specific developmental periods).

Genetically Engineering Australia By Brian Simpson

It was the night before Christmas … no, it was not. Rather, it was the day before the federal election was called:

“The day before the Federal election was called, the Government quietly announced changes to Australia’s Gene Technology Regulations that will allow a raft of new genetically modified (GM) animals, plants and microbes to enter our environment and food chain with no safety assessment and potentially no labelling. These include super-muscled pigs, non-browning mushrooms, and wheat with powdery mildew-resistance. The deregulation comes as a new study adds to the growing body of evidencethat new GM techniques such as CRISPR are not as safe as claimed. The study found that in 50 per cent of the cells looked at, the use of CRISPR resulted in unexpected effects, including the production of new proteins. There is a risk that these proteins could be novel toxins or allergens. It is vital that GM animals, plants and microbes produced in this way are assessed for safety before being released into our environment and our food chain.”

Immigration Obsessed, and Technologically Challenged Economists By Chris Knight

Here is the typical special pleading to increase immigration, this time from the United States. It has the same structure as the articles that we get tossed at us by the media here. Why do they bloody bother, since they will do what they will with a dopey population who have zero resistance? And, who are these articles addressed to since the elites who might read them agree anyway? Why waste data? So many questions, so few answers.

“We have unprecedented levels of low unemployment in America. It could even be said that we really have too many jobs and not enough people to fill them. While this currently isn’t a problem, it will soon have devastating impacts on our nation’s economic stability, and the only answer is to increase immigration to America. In the past 60 years, the birthrate in the United States has decreased by over 50 percent and is only falling faster. This is not by design. There are multiple factors contributing to this trend: people are getting married later and having kids later in life, women are focusing on their careers more than ever before, and contraception has become more effective.

Smoking Poo, Yeah Baby! By James Reed

I have never smoked “dope,” but it is the drug of my degenerate baby boomer generation. Thus, I had to laugh at this one, that smokers may be smoking dried human poo, and good for them, too.

“A Spanish pharmacologist purchased ninety samples of hash off the streets of Madrid, Spain and put them under the microscope. Fellow researchers from Complutense University learned that 88.3 percent of the samples were not suitable for human consumption because they contained exorbitant levels of E. coli bacteria derived from the anuses and intestinal tracts of drug traffickers. Lead researcher Manuel Pérez Moreno says that drug traffickers are wrapping the hash in some plastic and swallowing it to get it past authorities. After the hash is concealed in their intestines, the traffickers use a laxative to get the hash out of their body so it can be retrieved and sold illegally on the streets.
