The Clinton Emails are Just the Tip of a Dark Iceberg by Charles Taylor

An important comment on the Hillary Clinton email scandal was made in a small section of the Editorial, The Australian, August 29, 2016, p. 13.
The FBI has uncovered 15,000 more Clinton emails that she failed to hand over. Along with this was the revelation, if it can be called that, that when she was Secretary of State, she met with people outside of government who donated money to the Clinton Foundation in a “pay for play” arrangement, raising $200 million from 85 donors, including some described as “tyrannous.”

The Wall Street Journal concludes that the 15,000 additional emails are “further evidence that Mrs Clinton set up her private server to prevent the public from seeing how Hillary and Bill mixed public power with their personal financial and political ambitions via the family foundation… everyone in the world understood that a gift to the Clinton Foundation was a way to influence the US government.”

Missing The Point

Colin Rubinstein is correct in pointing out ('Free speech warriors are missing the point about 18C', The Australian, 1/9) that 'there have always been legitimate limits placed on free speech', but the six examples he gives, unlike 18C, do not threaten to seriously impede free speech in national forums on sensitive topics connected to ethnicity such as Aboriginal constitutional recognition, the disadvantages of multiculturalism and the history of Nazism.

His comment that 'laws similar to 18C exist in the overwhelming majority of Western democracies' is misleading. Many nations, such as France and Germany, have much harsher 'anti-racist' laws against 'hate speech', as a result of which many thoughtful dissidents have had their careers ruined and some even been imprisoned.  Do we want that here? 18C is a step in that direction.

Ban the Burkini? Are You Joking! by Mrs Vera West

Recently, the media reported on French policeman surrounding a Muslim woman who had been swimming at the beach and forced her, by law to remove her burka, or head coverings. France, until a few days ago, had championed the ban as something of a show-and-tell, to cover for the socialist governments porous, near-open borders and embrace of mass migration.

The French position of liberty, equality and fraternity, has it that the burka and burkini are symbols of female oppression. The Islamic idea is that women invite sexual attack by their dress and that modesty is a protection against this. Commenting on this Jennifer Oriel (The Australian, August 29, 2016, p. 12) says “The burkini is a symbol of surrender to archaic sexual mores that divide moral from immoral women by dress code.”

The Face of Economic Collapse by James Reed

An article in The New York Post, “These are the Signs of an Economic Collapse,”  is one of many articles appearing in the mainstream media, speculating about the long-anticipated big economic breakdown, one to dwarf the last GFC. The article gives a check lists of the signs that a crash is coming:

“What does the beginning of an economic collapse look like? Do you see grocery stores closing? Do you see other retailers, like clothing stores and department stores, going out of business? Are there shuttered storefronts along your Main Street shopping district, where you bought a tool from the hardware store or dropped off your dry cleaning or bought fruits and vegetables?
Are you making as much money annually as you did 10 years ago? Do you see homes in neighborhoods becoming run down as the residents either were foreclosed upon, or the owner lost his or her job so he or she can’t afford to cut the grass or paint the house? Did that same house where the Joneses once lived now become a rental property, where new people come to live every few months?

Letter to the Editor

Greg Craven's judgement is awry ('Fear, loathing, lost mojos', 26/9) when he describes HRH Prince Charles as 'eccentric'. No one has ever served as long as Prince of Wales and no one in that role has done more for the public good.

He has wisely promoted religious unity, beauty in architecture and the protection of ecological systems (as especially documented in his book 'Harmony').

The US Road Map To Balkanize Syria by Pepe Escobar

Forget about those endless meetings between Sergei Lavrov and John Kerry; forget about Russia’s drive to prevent chaos from reigning in Syria; forget about the possibility of a real ceasefire being implemented and respected by US jihad proxies.
Jonathan Cook is a Nazareth- based journalist and winner of the Martha Gellhorn Special Prize for Journalism - See more at:
Forget about the Pentagon investigating what really happened around its bombing 'mistake' in Deir Ezzor.
The definitive proof of the Empire of Chaos’s real agenda in Syria may be found in a 2012 Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) document declassified in May last year.

As you scroll down the document, you will find page 291, section C, which reads (in caps, originally):
The DIA report is a formerly classified SECRET/NOFORN document, which made the rounds of virtually the whole alphabet soup of US intel, from CENTCOM to CIA, FBI, DHS, NGA and the State Department.
It establishes that over four years ago US intel was already hedging its bets between established al-Qaeda in Syria, aka Jabhat al-Nusra, and the emergence of ISIS/ISIL/Daesh, aka the Islamic State.

Letter to The Honourable Tim Fisher

Dear Mr Fisher
A couple of weeks ago I heard you being interviewed by an A.B.C. chap relative to the coming Centenary of the completion of the Transcontinental Railway line at Ooldea on 19 October 1916. I want to thank you for drawing attention to this historic achievement. But, perhaps more importantly, draw your attention to the manner in which the project was financed. The financial lesson of the past should be broadcast far and wide.

The two enclosed booklets ( detail how the Commonwealth Bank of Australia of Andrew Fisher, King O'Malley and Sir Denison Miller delivered quite remarkable benefits to our Nation for a period of about 12 years before the private banking cartel effectively castrated the Nations "peoples’ Bank".

The Nonsense of Australia’s “Non-Discriminatory Immigration Programme by James Reed

An essential  poll has shown that 49 percent of Australians want a ban on Muslim immigration: The political class replied that this showed a lack of leadership, I suppose to control the objecting plebs. Pauline Hanson, bless her, said that she suspected that opposition was much higher:

It is instructive to consider treasurer and former immigration minister Scott Morrison’s response: “We’ve always had a non-discriminatory immigration program in this country which has produced the most successful multi-ethnic society in the world.” See:

Libya, David Cameron’s “Iraq”? Damning Report Shreds Another War Monger by Felicity Arbuthnot

Former UK Prime Minister David Cameron is consistent in just one thing – jumping ship when the going gets tough. He announced his resignation in the immediate wake of the 23rd July referendum in which Britain marginally voted to leave the EU, a referendum which he had fecklessly called to appease right wing “little Englanders”, instead of facing them down...
Cameron however committed to staying on as an MP until the 2020 general election, vowing grandiosely: “I will do everything I can in future to help this great country succeed”, he said of the small island off Europe which he had potentially sunk, now isolated from and derided by swathes of its continental neighbours – with the sound of trading doors metaphorically slamming shut reverberating across the English Channel.
David Cameron has now jumped again, resigning unexpectedly and immediately as an MP on Monday 12th September, giving the impression that he was not in agreement with certain policies of his (unelected) successor, Theresa May...The following day the real reason for his decision seemed obvious. Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Select Committee released their devastating findings on Cameron’s hand in actions resulting in Libya’s near destruction, contributing to the unprecedented migration of those fleeing UK enjoined “liberations”, creating more subsequent attacks in the West – and swelling ISIS and other terrorist factions.

The Vexed Question of DNA Ownership by Ian Wilson LL.B

An ABC “Curious Canberra” article, “Who Owns My DNA When I Send it Off for Analysis?” September 12, 2016, has again drawn attention to an area where there is a great gap in the law, and where the science is way ahead of policy.

In the United States there have been a number of cases where this issue has been examined, most notably Moore v Regents of California (1990), heard by the Supreme Court of California. There, it was held that cells taken from a patient are not their property and therefore individuals have no rights to profits made by Big Med in use of the cells. The problem with the case is that the decision should have examined the information about the cells rather than the physical cells themselves, so the issue was not resolved. Other US cases have also upheld the rights of Big Med, seeing the social interest of medical research and corporate profits overriding personal privacy.

Would They Lie to You? by Uncle Len, Who Cannot Tell a Lie

The 1980s ban, the Eurythmics (which I once thought was a form of contraception), had a song, “Would I Lie to You?” The answer, I always would scream back to lead singer Annie Lennox, was “yes, yes, the whole system is founded on lies.” But, she never listened to me, even when I confessed my love to her on the radio. Why, why, Annie did you never listen to me?

Andrew bolt, “Sydney Stabbing. Which Religion Does the ABC Mean?” takes the ABC to task for reporting on a terrorist attack and attempted murder, but not identifying the man’s religious beliefs. They have left us guessing and I admit, it is pretty hard to guess which religion it may be, since they are all religions of peace. So let me help here.

Letter to the Editor

It is pseudo-religious fanaticism, as well as political opportunism, that is causing the show trial of Hubert Zafke ('Auschwitz medic, 95, becomes the oldest Nazi to face trial', 14/9). Quite obviously there is massive inhumanity as well as injustice involved in submitting so elderly a person to such an experience.
The charge itself (‘a functionary in the Nazi murder machine which he enabled’) appears to be of insufficient legal substance to merit hearing.

It is happening mainly because in Germany, as in some other nations, the history of 'the Holocaust' has been perverted into a dogma that no-one may publicly question without punishment. This is a massive affront to freedom of speech and ought to be being much more discussed in Australia in connection with the debate over section 18C than is currently the case..

The Free Trade Delusion by James Reed

Whatever you think about the promises made by Donald Trump, he looks certain, if he wins, of rejecting the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). That is a good thing, meaning one less globalist scheme to fight. But even so, for the globalists, who have something of a fetish for the letter T, there is still the TISA a “turbo-charged privatisation pact” backed by Microsoft, Google, IBM, Walmart and JP Morgan Chase.

TTSA stands for “Trade In Services Agreement.” And like the TPP is being negotiated in secret. The TISA will privatise public services, replacing governments with Big Corporations. Like the TPP, there is thought to be clauses in it preventing governments from regulating banks and controlling strategic services.

The Privatisation of National Credit and Money-Printing by Jeremy Lee (Australia 2000- How Bright The Vision?)

This expansion of the money supply occurs every year; a smaller increase during a credit squeeze, accelerating when the Reserve Bank believes the economy needs stimulating. The controlling mechanism is now largely confined to the raising or lowering of interest rates.

It can also be seen that the creation of Australia’s monetary requirements - which many believe should be a Government prerogative - has been ceded almost entirely into private-sector hands. New money is put into circulation through loans and overdrafts, on which the ‘creators’ earn interest, and charge fees for operating accounts. They are not lending their own capital. They are claiming ownership of “new” money which is practically costless, and which should, in a just system, belong to the community.

China and Imperialist Domination by James Reed

Behind the political donations debate is the important issue of the rise of China, and how this communist power is choosing to exert its power. Defenders of China typically adopt a “business-as-usual” model, pointing out that US and British foreign investment in Australia is higher than Chinese investment (for the moment), and that there should be no discrimination against china because there is no morally relevant criteria to discriminate between nations in the free trade love-in.

Bob Carr, former foreign minister (The Weekend Australian, September 10-11, 2016, p. 18), pushes this style of argument: “Chinese-Australians are not Maoists and the rulers in Beijing are hardly fanatical jihadists.” Why, if all the criticisms now appearing in the media were correct, then Australia should not have entered into free trade agreements with China at all, Carr says. And in reply to this rhetoric, one can heartily agree: yes, it is a profound mistake.

Social Credit and Foreign Trade by Wallace Klinck

"Obviously, if nations cannot absorb their own consumer production because of a lack of effective demand (i.e., unencumbered purchasing-power) and are forced to compensate by obtaining excess export earnings and seeking foreign investment it will be impossible to maintain cultural integrity as the financial pressures exert their inevitable and inexorable influence.

While it makes sense for nations to trade in order to obtain otherwise unavailable and required resources and/or to reap the efficiency benefits of comparative advantage, it makes no sense and is destructive of national sovereignty to be forced into international trade merely to join in a multi-national (and futile) scramble to capture scarce credits necessary to facilitate the sale of domestic production.

After the Elite Get in Same-Sex Marriage, How about Polygamy? by James Reed

I went back to my old university to work in the library, or what remains of it. On the cement cylinder structures, whose name I never looked up (rotunda), I noted the left/socialists latest anti-Hanson pro-Muslim posters. This one was about eating Halal meat at a special anti-Hanson BBQ. I imagine that these young cubs would like to burn her at the stake, or at the mysterious cement structures, the fires fuelled by their moral righteousness and piety. But do the Muslims support their Leftoid values? In this article, we ponder that question.

I imagine that these folk, who are leading the charge for same-sex marriage will also get behind the next big thing after that: multiculturalism-based polygamy. Andrew Bolt notes in a recent blog “Polygamy Dating Site is a Warning: First Same-Sex Marriage, Next Polygamy,” Herald Sun, September 5, 2016, that polygamy will be the next big thing.

Cultural Marxism: Philosophy of the New World order by Charles Taylor

How do the bits and pieces fit together? Why is it that the principles of the Marxists, best seen on university campuses, and the global financial elite so perfectly coincide? Both support open borders, one on grounds of “anti-racism,” the other on grounds of profit maximization. Everything the Leftoids do, such as seeking diversity, smashing the traditional family, and creating a Balkanised population, enslaved to a usurious debt economy, benefits the financial elite.

One would have thought that Marxist would be opposed to such an elite, above all else. Yet, their fanatical, insane, mouth-foaming anti-racist mania prevails over all else.
So, the Left must be no more than useful idiots doing, consciously, or unconsciously, the bidding of their financial masters.
Children, beware! Take even one step upon the collectivist road and you will be lost in a realm of ice and darkness.

'Nazi Grandma' holocaust denier Ursula Haverbeck sentenced to jail

An 87-year-old woman has been sentenced to prison after she claimed that Jews were never exterminated in Auschwitz. Her criminal record includes two fines and another sentence for sedition.
A court in Detmold on Friday sentenced Ursula Haverbeck to eight months in jail on charges of sedition. The presiding judge ruled out the possibility of parole and said that Haverbeck had a lack of "any kind of respect" and that she had made more offensive comments in the courtroom.
Haverbeck is expected to appeal against the sentencing. In Germany, anyone who publicly denies, endorses or plays down the extermination of Jews during Adolf Hitler's regime can be sentenced to a maximum of five years in jail.
