George Christensen is one of the few Australian freedom movement types actively concerned about the likelihood of a Third World War. His argument is that rather than the war going nuclear, due to a number of social factors, it is likely to be a long-drawn out affair, like the 30-year war. The factors that mitigate against total war are “aging populations, industries dependent on foreign imports, and a lack of loyalty to the state, leading to an inability to fully mobilise for war and instead resulting in low-intensity, long-lasting conflicts.” This will be extremely bloody, leading to the death of millions, and impacting upon billions.
