Teaching in Body Armour! By James Reed

I saw this coming, but over in the land of the totally crazy, they are dealing with the social breakdown, reflected in the blackboard jungle, by wearing body armour:
  https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/protective-gear-classrooms-teachers-worry-1.5187694

“Growing up, all she wanted was to become a teacher. She realized her dream, and at first she loved the job. But now she says violence in the classroom has spun so far out of control that she has to wear protective sleeves to guard against attacks by students. "I've seen principals get hurt by students, I've seen blood on them. [Educational Assistants] get kicked in the head, punched, spit at," she said. CBC has agreed to protect the teacher's identity because she fears speaking to the media could harm her career. Her concerns match those of other educators across Ontario who say the verbal abuse and physical violence is leaving them injured and exhausted, and are calling on school boards and the province to provide more support. The teacher worked at several schools in the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) and is qualified to teach students between Grades 4 and 12. She began teaching about 15 years ago, but it was only after returning from time off to have children that she realized things had changed for the worse. "I remember my first day back in a particular school, and I got home and I just wanted to call and say I'm not coming back," she said. Because her elementary school classroom had students with severe behavioural issues, the teacher said she was required to wear protective sleeves on her arms to guard against pinching, scratching and biting. "I was thinking of the students in the class, like, how do they feel about seeing their teachers in armour? I'm still in shock about it."

Human Trafficking: One of the Costs of Open Borders By Chris Knight

If one creates an open borders situation which the Left and Democrats in America have created, there will be human costs, including the rise in sexual slavery and trafficking of women from the Third World. The Left are apparently fine with this:
  https://www.foxnews.com/us/human-trafficking-in-america-among-worst-in-world-report

“The United States is again ranked as one of the worst countries in the world for human trafficking. According to a recently released report by the State Department, the top three nations of origin for victims of human trafficking in 2018 were the United States, Mexico and the Philippines. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo delivered the Trafficking in Persons report, which is created annually by the State Department to document human trafficking in the year prior, and highlighted the growing focus that government agencies and nonprofit organizations have dedicated to stopping human trafficking. The Department of Justice provided more than $31 million for 45 victim service providers that offered services to trafficking survivors across the country. It was a demonstrable increase; the DOJ only provided $16 million to 18 organizations in 2017, according to the report. At the heart of the human trafficking trade in America is simple economics: Supply and demand. Over the last two months, Fox News has investigated human trafficking. We followed the enforcement efforts of FBI agents and police officers, documented the ways advocacy groups protect and serve survivors, and heard heart-wrenching stories of abuse, rape and recovery from numerous victims.

Cuck Trump Just Takes It, As Cucks Do! (The Guy is a Plant, But Not Russian!) By Charles Taylor

What is Trump up to, or rather, what is he not doing regarding the immigration invasion? Well, after saying that he was going to deport some illegals, maybe two or three, he cancelled even that because, Democrat mover, the ever globalised pruned-face Pelosi told him not to. Trump wants to play the game of the art of the deal with someone who has proclaimed that being in the country illegally is not a reason for deporting! How can one make a deal with the insane with the disease of globalitis? This show if anything that Trump is mad, or just a traitor himself:
  https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-immigration-trump/trump-says-ice-focused-on-getting-ms-13-gang-ahead-of-expected-raids-idUSKCN1TN0H7

  https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-06-24/pelosi-immigrants-being-country-illegally-not-reason-deportation

“Nancy Pelosi infamously denounced walls as "immoral" during the 2018 midterms, and refused to acknowledge the legitimacy of the border crisis - dismissing it as a 'made up' emergency after Trump tried to bypass Congress and re-appropriate money to build his border wall from the Treasury and DoD budgets. Now, the Speaker of the House is taking her hysterical pro-immigration/anti-Trump rhetoric to another level of hysterical inanity by insisting that just because somebody is in the country illegally doesn't mean they should be deported. During an event in New York, Pelosi told her audience about a recent phone call with President Trump, where she discussed Democrats' desire to delay the mass roundups of illegal immigrants (a request to which Trump acquiesced). During  the call, Pelosi said she told the president that "a violation of status is not a reason for deportation," adding that there are over 10 million people who could face deportation because they are here illegally. Instead of rounding these immigrants up, Pelosi said Washington should focus on creating a path to citizenship. "I said 'a violation of status is not a reason for deportation,' that’s just not so," Pelosi said she told Trump.

Red Cloud Over New Zealand: Commos Fund Them!

I have been researching the question of why New Zealand has been so well, commo, under their female pm. The reason is, that they are commo! To see this let us go back to the beginnings of scarf-wearing Jacinda Ardern’s regime:
  https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/australasia/new-zealand-new-prime-minister-jacinda-ardern-capitalism-blatant-failure-a8012656.html

“New Zealand's new prime minister called capitalism a "blatant failure", before citing levels of homelessness and low wages as evidence that "the market has failed" her country's poor. Jacinda Ardern, who is to become the nation's youngest leader since 1856, said measures used to gauge economic success "have to change" to take into account "people's ability. They will be supported by the liberal Greens. New Zealanders had been waiting since 23 September to find out who would govern their country after national elections ended without a clear winner. Ms Ardern has pledged her government will increase the minimum wage, write child poverty reduction targets into law, and build thousands of affordable homes.”

G20 Lemmings Trumped By Viv Forbes

“Nineteen energy lemmings leapt over the Paris Climate Precipice but they were Trumped when one canny American owl declined to commit carbon suicide.”

Letter to The Editor - An important distinction must be made, too, between "the Aboriginal people" and Australians living now who have Aboriginal ancestry

To The Australian        The University of New South Wales is being too prescriptive in its published guidelines for staff concerning Aboriginal history ("Don't put date on Aboriginal arrival, Uni says", 29-30/6). It is laughable to suggest that it can be "harmful or damaging" to anyone if a commentator gives an opinion on the length of time our Aboriginal people have lived on our continent. Seeking to forbid such discussion is indeed an unacceptable intrusion on free speech. At the same time, respect can be paid to the traditional Aboriginal statement that they have been here "since the beginning of the Dreaming". That is a mythological statement that gives meaning to a people's sense of identity and purpose, just as does the Genesis account of the creation of the world in six days. An important distinction must be made, too, between "the Aboriginal people" and Australians living now who have Aboriginal ancestry. None of the latter "have always been in Australia from the beginning of time" or "came from the land." Acceptance of this distinction will curb excessive claims for special treatment.

Letter to The Editor - As a lifetime conservative commentator, I'm sceptical of his claim

To The Age        I'm puzzled by a quoted remark of leading workplace lawyer Josh Bornstein ("Caught in the scrum", 29/6) that "the free speech warriors of the right are almost without exception complete hypocrites" because when "someone of the left says something they oppose", they jettison their commitment to the principle of free speech. Who can he mean? To what contexts does he refer? As a lifetime conservative commentator, I'm sceptical of his claim. He's much more on track with his statement that restrictions on free speech should be "done by legislation rather than workplace law". Yes, we don't want the regulation of speech to be controlled by corporations.
  Nigel Jackson, Belgrave

Letter to The Editor - So is Michael Mansell's misinterpretation of "Advance Australia Fair" as anti-Aboriginal

To The Age        Diana Snape wants "a new national anthem that unites us all" (27/6), but that is hardly likely to be found until a greater overall harmony of purpose exists among the people. At the moment radical activists in various ways are chipping away at our national unity. The current campaign to see "our First Nations people" over-promoted by constitutional recognition or a treaty is an example of this. So is Michael Mansell's misinterpretation of "Advance Australia Fair" as anti-Aboriginal (25/6). The truth is that the Whitlam ALP government did significant damage by seeking to replace "God save the Queen" with an alternative and then being unable to find a satisfactory new anthem that a convincing majority would endorse.

Letter to The Editor - We may ask whether a patriarchal and aristocratic political order may not in fact be better than liberal democracy

To The Australian        Kevin Donnelly has provided a timely defence of manhood ("Why is masculinity under siege from all quarters?", 28/6). We need to consider Jordan Black's "virtuous masculinity" and explore further what that might be. Corruption of the political order is a major factor in the widespread phenomenon of diminution of male vitality. In a society ruled by financial interests opportunities for manly heroism are curbed, as elites do not want their position threatened. Following Plato, we may ask whether a patriarchal and aristocratic political order may not in fact be better than liberal democracy. And a difficulty for discussion is the wide range of different natures found among men and among women. Education that suits one sort of man (or woman) well may not suit another man (or woman) nearly as well. In this context "variety is the spice of life" is relevant.

Decadent Knitting Communities! By Mrs (Sally Anne) Charles Taylor

Hopefully if the liberals keep poking the old dog with their sharp sticks long enough, maybe the dog will snap back. The following story shows how crazy things are getting, and how a useless fool like Trump, merely from mouthing a few false wishes has set the Left off, even those who knit. Knit? Who even thinks about that; I am as old as the pyramids and I don’t have time to knit, spending my days, when I am not laying down in pain, getting more pain researching articles for various anti-abortion American sites and helping my husband feed you guys:
  https://vdare.com/posts/knitting-community-bans-trump-supporters-in-name-of-inclusivity
  https://vdare.com/articles/michelle-malkin-anti-trump-crafters-a-decade-long-unraveling
  https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2019/jun/24/white-supremacy-popular-knitting-website-ravelry-bans-support-for-trump

“One of the biggest knitting websites in the world, which claims to have more than 8 million members, has announced that it will ban users from expressing support for Donald Trump, saying that to do so constitutes “white supremacy”. On Sunday, administrators for Ravelry, a site for knitters, crocheters, designers and anyone dabbling in the fibre arts, said that they were making any expression of support for Trump and his administration in forum posts, patterns, on their personal profile pages or elsewhere permanently off limits. “We cannot provide a space that is inclusive of all and also allow support for open white supremacy. Support of the Trump administration is undeniably support for white supremacy,” the site’s administrators said in a post. Users could also be permanently banned under the policy. The Trump ban comes only months after political upheaval gripped the knitting and crochet community around issues of racial and cultural insensitivity. That debate was sparked by popular knitwear designer and blogger Karen Templer, who wrote in January about a planned trip to India, likening it, in her excitement, to visiting Mars. Many in the craft community objected to the characterisation, calling it othering and reductive. Templer apologised soon afterwards, but the incident had a ripple effect, sparking off conversations about diversity and inclusivity in the craft community on Instagram, Ravelry and other places that crafters congregate online. A similar debate about cultural sensitivity and appropriation recently occurred in the sewing community.

China and Japan Join Hands as the US Sinks into the Sludge of History By Chris Knight

Tay Tay is Glad, Glad, Glad To be “Jumping on the Queer Bandwagon” By Mrs Vera West

It did not take too much time for pop icon Taylor Swift to come out, so to speak, and advance one of more globalist agenda. I thought that she may have gone the way of Mylie Cyrus doing the sex stuff, nudity and all that, but no, she is taking the political road, following the LGBTQ +(did I get all of the letters right?) road:
  https://www.theamericanconservative.com/dreher/taylor-swift-punches-down-lgbt-rednecks/

“Have you seen the new Taylor Swift video? She takes a bold, courageous stance in favor of LGBT rights, and against the drooling mobs of orthographically challenged Red State bigots. Taylor and her cool LGBT friends have taken over a trailer park— get it! Ha ha! See, according to leading pop star Taylor Swift (estimated net worth: $320 million), redneck white people are not only anti-gay, but their religion is stupid, and they can’t spell. Oh, my ribs hurt from laughing, I tell you what. But seriously: this is what you call “punching down.” There is no easier target in the world for a pop star worth $320 million than anti-gay working-class and rural white Christians. I imagine Taylor Swift thinks herself brave. In today’s New York Post, David Harsanyi writes about Fall, a new sci-fi novel that envisions a future United States split between the violent, gun-toting, uneducated, cross-burning religious fanatics of bullet-ridden “Ameristan” and the peaceful, educated, secular denizens of the nation’s Blue enclaves, where decorum and truth always prevail.

Now Even the Italian Mafia Face Migrant Competition! Diversity is a Winner! By Richard Miller

Here is an unusual aspect of immigration and open borders; conventional crime syndicates, who have been comfortable for decades, maybe centuries, face being out gunned by new bloods, migrants with fire in their bellies and a desire to succeed in the world world of organised crime, and can we really blame them? No, The Washington Post tossed me off, no freebies there. But still we have:

Prince William Upholds Fine Cultural Traditions By Peter West

As a loyal monarchist I am always eager to absorb whatever lessons royalty can give to common peasants like me, one of the great unwashed. Like teaching me about tolerance and diversity in the real world, not just saying it, but living and breathing it:
  https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2019/06/26/prince-william-absolutely-fine-by-me-if-his-children-were-gay-transgender/
  https://www.telegraph.co.uk/royal-family/2019/06/26/prince-william-would-absolutely-fine-george-charlotte-louis/

“The Duke of Cambridge has said he will fully support his children if they were to be gay, promising it would be “absolutely fine by me”. The Duke, who spoke as he visited a charity that helps homeless LGBT people, said his only concern would be for the additional challenges they may face as a result of public prejudice. Saying he and the Duchess had already discussed how they would approach one of their children telling them they were gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender, he emphasised his only concern would be for any “hate or persecution” they would endure, particularly as a result of their public positions in the Royal Family. The father-of-three visited charity akt, the Albert Kennedy Trust, to officially open its new services ahead of the annual Pride in London parade and to mark  the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising. Answering questions from young ambassadors for the charity, he spoke frankly from the position of a parent about the challenges still faced by those who identified as LGBT. His words are the most candid from any member of the Royal Family in public on the topic to date. When he is one day king, the Duke will be head of the Church of England and is likely to become the head of a Commonwealth in which, to date, 37 countries have laws that criminalise homosexuality.”

Race Based Judicial Virtue Signalling By Ian Wilson LL.B

The actual facts of the US case before the Supreme court is not too important for us, but rather the judicial dynamics. In Flowers v. Mississippi, Kavanaugh wrote majority opinion overturning a sixth conviction of a cold-blooded murderer who was convicted of killing four people 23 years ago. We should remember Kavanaugh as the Trump appointment that drove the left crazy because they thought that he was going to just like Black Judge Thomas, a literal constitutionalist and conservative. But this judge is just another white liberal. In Flowers, there was no doubt the defendant was guilty, but Kavanaugh was convinced that the jury was “racist.” The judgment was so unhinged that Justice Thomas, a Black man, in dissent called this out as virtue signalling:
  https://www.conservativereview.com/news/thomas-dissent-rips-kavanaugh-scotus-opinion-racial-politics/

“Justice Thomas shot back in his dissent and noted that not only does he disagree with the underlying premise and recent precedent (in Foster v. Chatman) that such facts would be grounds to overturn a conviction, but he disagrees with the notion that there was discriminatory intent. “The only clear errors in this case are committed by today’s majority,” wrote a clearly irate Thomas, who is getting tired of these cases. Confirming that we never should have taken this case, the Court almost entirely ignores—and certainly does not refute—the race-neutral reasons given by the State for striking Wright and four other black prospective jurors. Two of these prospective jurors knew Flowers’ family and had been sued by Tardy Furniture—the family business of one of the victims and also of one of the trial witnesses. One refused to consider the death penalty and apparently lied about working side-by-side with Flowers’ sister. One was related to Flowers and lied about her opinion of the death penalty to try to get out of jury duty. And one said that because she worked with two of Flowers’ family members, she might favor him and would not consider only the evidence presented. The state courts’ findings that these strikes were not based on race are the opposite of clearly erroneous; they are clearly correct.

Plague America By Chris Knight

We have been covering the plight of US cities such as LA and San Franny, where streets are littered with human poop. However, one of the real treats, sorry, threats, of falling back into the Dark Ages, a new Dark age, is the occurrence of the plague or Black Death. Yep, an old friend in black with the scythe is back:
  https://www.shtfplan.com/headline-news/bubonic-plague-in-la-california-on-the-verge-of-becoming-a-third-world-state_06262019

“The city of Los Angeles is quickly descending into a cesspool of decay and disease.  With bubonic plague now likely present amongst residents, the city and the state of California are on the verge of becoming a third-world hellscape.  Some say that that’s already happened… Tucker Carlson had historian Victor Davis Hanson on his show just last week, where the latter said that California is on the verge of becoming the nation’s first Third World state. From trash being illegally dumped to city hall becoming a rat-infested den in the city of LA, it all points to the decay suffered when Democrats run things. Even police stations in the city are loaded with rats and according to Townhall, one was fined $5,000 over its conditions that left one officer stricken with typhoid fever. California’s descent has gotten to the point where there is a possibility that bubonic plague (the black death) may now be present in the city. This isn’t new information either. Typhus outbreaks were being reported back in February. Typhus is not transmitted person-to-person, and flea-borne typhus can spread to people from infected fleas and their feces. Typhus infection can be prevented through flea control measures on pets, using insect repellent to avoid flea bites and clearing areas that can attract wild or stray animals like cats, rats, and opossums, according to the Department of Public Health. Typhus is spread by fleas hitching a ride on rats. While the general population struggles under the weight of the government (local, state, and federal in LA’s case) and the homeless population continues to climb up, the same cannot be said for the rats that carry fleas the cause typhus. The rat population in LA is doing just fine, however, as piles of garbage dot the cityscape, making it Thanksgiving Day every day for the city’s fat, happy rodents, wrote the American Thinker. -SHTFPlan

Letter to The Editor - There is reason to believe that the fundamental outlook and methodology of science is limited

To The Australian        Controversy over the new classroom inclusivity guidelines published by the University of New South Wales needs to take account of several factors ("Uni puts ethnicity into study of science", 2/7). One is the need for science to be "race, region and sex-blind", since "science is culture-free by definition", but this does not mean that the claim for science that it is "universal knowledge" can be supported. There is reason to believe that the fundamental outlook and methodology of science is limited, that there are other kinds of knowledge which are accessed by faculties other than the logical mind and reason on which science relies. Wollongong University archaeologist Richard Fullagar rightly points out that there is an overlap between science and indigenous knowledge, and that indigenous beliefs are often supported by scientific research. Other indigenous knowledge is more profound than that and relates to areas of experience and human faculties beyond the purview of science. One example is the "pointing the bone" ceremony and the "singing to death" of targeted individuals hundreds of miles away. Such knowledge is worthy of study, but not under the rubric of science.

Weaponising Multiculturalism… it was Always A Time Bomb By Paul Walker

Multiculturalism and the diversity cult, are indeed nation killers, for that is why the Dark Lords of Mordor unleashed them. But, let others tell you so, while I sit back, with my tin-foiled hat, pondering with a cigar and a stiff drink, listening to the black helicopters hovering overhead.
  https://spectator.org/multiculturalism-is-a-nation-killer/

“Politics in America is about the competition of interest groups for political power. Once victorious an interest group does not go away; it escalates its demands. The civil rights movement started out with demands for basic human dignity. Once those were met, it legitimately demanded equality of opportunity, and once that was achieved, it demanded preferential treatment where equality of opportunity was redefined, in Orwellian fashion, as equality of result. Flush with success, it now demands reparations where those who never were enslaved will receive compensation from those who never owned slaves, all in the name of virtue and justice. By nature, humans are tribal. Tribalism is the easiest way to organize people and mobilize them politically. Until very recently, America was a multi-ethnic society with a dominant culture. That culture is breaking apart as we become more tribal, and we begin to think of ourselves in terms of tribal loyalties, as reinforced by political elites.  Multiculturalism is the great myth of our time. The cliché is, “Our strength is our diversity.” But is it? Military officers sent to Vietnam learned that the enemy’s strength was a homogeneous culture, language, and identity.
