My go-to site for on-line conservative optimism and hope is Dr Steve Turley.  British trained, he rejoices in conservative gains in regional and municipal elections. That struck me too as being positive. But, then I started reading other sites, and the black pill was taken yet again. James Delingpole, in particular, takes this apart.
