Indeed, Bond villain and founder, Klaus Schwab, who has some unnamed illness keeping him form the present Davos talkfest, has praised the CCP on numerous issues. And now the compliments are returned, as the CCP mouthpiece, the Global Times has praised the “Davos Spirit” in a tweet, claiming, “China’s ideals and achievements also made the Davos Spirit more dazzling,” and that China is excited to find “more like-minded friends at the WEF.” Yes, globalism is communism and vice versa.

A Bill has been put to US Congress to make it a crime for White people (only) to engage in “white supremacy.” This term is now used to describe anything related to defending White interests, such as criticising the Great Replacement. Jim Goad does a critique, quoted below. It will create a super-weapon to continue the program of white racial genocide. Oh, is that a crime to say? Maybe soon it will be. Even talking about the issues around race and immigration could lead to Whites being wiped out by the oppressive anti-White legal system. We could see this coming. With Covid no longer the issue for the elites, who are hosing down the problems of excess mortality and Covid vax injuries, attention has gone back to climate change, to push the globalist agenda even further. As a taste of the things to come, German scientist Hans Joachim Schellnhuber from the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK), thinks there should be an individual carbon dioxide limit  be applied to every person. This will provide a “planetary guardrail” in the effort to deal with allegedly man-made climate change. Every person should have a limit of three tonnes of C02 emissions per year and those who exceed their limit should be forced to pay more, if they are lucky. This will hit heavy on energy issues, particularly heating and cooling. Thus, old people, under this tyrannical scheme may not be able to heat and cool their homes, which in many parts of the world could be a death sentence. It is unlikely that the ruling elites care about this, seeing this as mere collateral damage.

The latest buzz word being pushed around by the World Economic Forum, and there is an article on their website now, introducing the term “polycrisis.” These are a series of connected and converging, alleged threats, such as climate change, biodiversity decline and species extinction. “The World Economic Forum’s Global Risks Report 2023 uses the term, to explain how, “present and future risks can also interact with each other to form a ‘polycrisis’ – a cluster of related global risks with compounding effects, such that the overall impact exceeds the sum of each part”.

The idea of a series of interlocking crises is correct, but we would see these crises as mainly generated by the globalists, not climate change as some sort of physical process. Climate change, for example is a crisis, but primarily because of how the ruling elites use the issue as a political weapon to oppress us and eliminate God-given freedoms. So, yes, there is a perfect storm of problems, but these are globalist generated.

I almost passed by this piece at The American conservative, discussing a thought experiment proposed by the US philosopher Rort Nozick, author of the book, Anarchy, State and Utopia (1974), which I admired back in the day as a counter to the socialism of the time. Nozick advanced a strong libertarianism that saw the good society as having only a minimal state, and where people were able to freely choose their modes of living. Compared to today, this has merits. But, anyway, in that book, Nozick discussed a thought experiment where you were offered a place on a machine that would generate good, but false experiences for you, anticipating the Matrix movies. Why not surrender your freedom and do this?

Old Joe Biden is being grilled by even the mainstream media about his careless storage of classified documents in his garage. Now communist China, always secret about everything that might be damaging to its run to world supremacy, is admitting that its population is declining. What does this mean in the longer term?  The same problem is in the West, as the younger population will not be able to support the massive aged demographic strata. This is worth hearing, via the link in the article below, as UK comedian Konstantin Kisin argues with the woke climate change activists. He adopts their position, argumentum ad hominem, to show that things like tipping paint over paintings, is just plain silly. The UK, if it sunk into the sea would  reduce global Carbon dioxide emissions by only two percent. While Europe is being subjected o the insane resource and energy restrictions arising not only from the Ukraine War, but also climate change hysteria, or rather the climate change conspiracy, a scientific study published in the peer-reviewed journal Climate and Atmospheric Science has predicted that Europe will not be warming for 15 to 20 years, but rather, the temperature will become colder. Of course, this is completely contrary to the standard climate change narrative which is, according to the UN, that there remains only nine years to save the planet from runway climate change. That can hardly be so, thus, the UN position is only a political agenda, to deindustrialise the West. My wife wrote previously about the coming bans on gas stoves, which will be a disaster for restaurant across America, if widely adopted, beyond crazy California. She mentioned in passing that this is the sort of idea embraced by the World Economic Forum. Mike Adams has done some research on this, and also concludes that all of this come straight from the World Economic Forum play book, which explicitly went after gas. What we are experiencing now in America is very much a trial run for what will be done throughout the West, including Australia, so our suffering is relevant to you. And, the whole place seems to be falling apart. There is the coming ban on gas stoves, covered elsewhere, but it is really the tip of the flame, with even normal-capacity flush toilets being regulated, in the name of water conservation. And, these things do not flush properly, so in the end, two or more flushes are needed leading to even more water being used. It sounds a small thing, but it is a symbol of the growing restrictions upon things that never should be restricted in any sane society. Another great deconstruction of the academic Left has been given by Dr Edward Dutton, exposing the lies, the falsehoods of Leftist research. He points out that fraud is quite common in soft disciplines like psychology, and almost always, the corrupt papers are by Leftist academic, eager to quickly climb the slimy pole of academia via a production-line of publications. This comes from studies showing that leftist have a greater propensity to lie, since their personalities are narcissistic   and opportunistic, and will do what is necessary to secure what they want. While I agree with these observations of Dr Dutton, I do not see this as necessarily leading to the doom of the universities, since the universities seem to be infinitely corruptible and thus well able to accommodate evil that would crush most conservatives. I saw this article dealing with social critic Wendell Berry, but I can’t really comment as I have not read any of his recent books, and have only vague recollections of A Place on Earth (1967). Still, it is interesting.  But, I liked the comments on Blaise Pascal (1623-1662), that attributes many problems to the lack of ability of people to be at peace, as exemplified by sitting quietly in their room. There is much here. Pascal even then say that the reason for this irritability was the poverty of morality that engulfs many people, and certainly today. It is seen in social media which Pascal, a deeply religious Christian, would see as the tool of the devil.
