The UK is seemingly a test case for what has to be a war on the cars of the ordinary working people. What is happening in London now, and soon the entire UK no doubt, is the government effectively making people pay to drive their cars, through the Ultra Low Emissions Zones. At any point people who are clocked to have a vehicle exceeding an arbitrary low emission level, get fined £12.50 at a time. This is a tax upon the poor, who cannot afford the latest electric vehicles, or new cars with pollution-minimisation. And as well, for the rich, paying a fine of £12.50 at a time, is not much of a burden. But, mothers trying to get children to school in peak hour traffic, and small business people, and just ordinary working people going to work, are being stung.
It is but another example of nastiness and dissimilatory nature of present climate change ideologies, which do not target of inconvenience the rich, but deliver often damaging economic blows to the ordinary working class people.
