To THE AUSTRALIAN    Lesley Beckhouse is right (5/5) to oppose the 'National Compact on Permanent Migration' published by the ACTU and other groups. A close study of it shows that the signatories simply ignore the grim writing on the wall - that serious commitment to 'sustainable' development can only mean a drastic curtailment of our currently runaway immigration policy. A responsible compact would explain clearly now when and how in the future immigration is to be reduced and how, under continuation of the present policy, the problems mentioned by Beckhouse will be addressed.

     The national situation appears to be as follows: administrators of a corrupt financial system, international in scope, are seeking present-time selfish profit at the expense of future generations. Unfortunately, the main sacred tradition of the West, Christianity, having failed to take account of the findings of comparative religion in the past two centuries, is gravely weakened and unable to provide a needed restraining influence, as well as a sound critique of the vacuous, feel-good, fashionable ideology of the compact.

     A strange situation: 73 percent of  Americans believe that artificial intelligence will destroy more jobs than it creates, but, surprise, surprise, most also believe that their job will be safe! Talk about, not in my backyard! This is a prime example of the psychology of cognitive blindspots, for if people could think clearly they would see that whatever job they had, even flipping burgers, a machine could in principle, and soon in practice, replace it. Thus, my son was amazed when he started first year mathematics this year, to see computer applications, all available on the web, that solved with working almost all calculus problems. STEM degrees could well be a waste of time in the future, as with degrees like law, where if it can’t be done by a machine, then it will be outsourced to Asia for cheap labour to do the job.

     The Australian, which I can now only afford to buy on the weekend (March 10-11, 2018), had a number of articles dealing with the conservative crisis. Who are the conservatives that this paper loves so much? John Howard is one, who is still campaigning that there should be “no alteration or weakening” of Australia’s gun laws. The concern is that pump action shotguns and semi auto rifles may be used under special circumstances in rural operations. Wow, what a cucked low T society Australia is.

     It is impossible to believe that the ANZACs came from such an emasculated place. It does not take long to destroy a civilisation, and maybe it will not take too long to destroy the regime that “con-servativism” has produced. Australian conservatives are generally mass immigration, pro-globalism and one cycle in political correctness behind the Left. I hope that it dies, soon.
