BLM Shut Down STEM! By Brian Simpson

The scientific journals, Nature and Science were shut down for a day, because … because …white privilege!
  https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/06/10/radical-protests-shut-down-science-nature-for-a-day/

“Radical activists persuaded top science journals to stop work on June 10 and to validate their claims of “white supremacy” throughout the American science sector. The willingness of top scientists to submit to the radicals’ half-disguised political goals is a dangerous failure, said Bret Weinstein, a biologist and a champion for free speech. In a June 10 broadcast on YouTube, he argued thas the radicals will use the one-day June 10 concession to demand more damaging concessions from science, he said, adding: If you think you’re helping black people by “Shutting Down STEM!,” you have not understood what’s going on. Science is the key to avoiding bias. It is the key to escaping oppression. It is the key to discovering what it is about our system that is systematically biased, and to eliminate it. So you are doing black people no favor by challenging that mechanism. Scientists should reject the political pressure, he said: The question is, do you have the intelligence to see where we are? And do you have the fortitude to stand up to this nonsense and say, “No, I won’t be a party to it.” And if you do, then, welcome. Weinstein’s response came after a small group of black academics and scientists used the emotional wave caused by the police death of George Floyd to demand that science be reorganized to help black Americans in science. The group pushed the hashtag #ShutDownSTEM. One of the manifestos demanded that the goal of “justice” be prioritized above scientists’ discovery of objective reality: We must confront the institutional barriers to justice for Black people in academia and beyond, challenge the notion of the meritocracy whereby “objective and neutral” criteria infused with systemic racism are used to exclude Black people from physics and other academic disciplines, and rebuild our institutions and collaborations in a way that is just and equitable … Every single institution around the world can and should get involved in this work. Another manifesto portrayed all scientists who put science first are racists: “Unless you engage directly with eliminating racism, you are perpetuating it.”

The Future (of National destruction) Is In Our Youth By Chris Knight

I was dismayed to read these poll results, indicating that almost 2 in 3 young Americans support the riots, arson, burning America down. But, will they support collapse, social breakdown, no food and water, no internet, and mass deaths in the cities? Perhaps, stranger things have happened, as after all, this is end times in clown world:
  https://thepostmillennial.com/poll-almost-2-in-3-young-americans-at-least-partially-support-riots-arson

“As reported by Campus Reform, a new Monmouth University poll reveals that some Americans support even the more radical actions of protesters, which include vandalism, arson, and looting. In particular, young Americans aged 18 to 34 had a more positive impression of the protesters’ actions. This poll asked respondents if they were aware of “the protests across the country, including the burning of a police precinct in Minneapolis, in reaction to a recent incident where a black man died when a police officer kneeled on his neck.” Then, it asked them “Given what happened, do you think the actions of the protestors were fully justified, partially justified, or not at all justified?” So, this question was not asking respondents about peaceful protesters, but about the actions of “protesters” including the burning of a police station — which many would deem violent rioting, not protesting. Even with the burning of a police station included in the question’s framing, 22% of young Americans said they thought these actions were “fully justified,” and 40% said they were “partially justified.” This means that almost 2 in 3 young people said they at least partially support violent protesting that includes arson. This comes after the prominent young progressive Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez subtly encouraged protesters, and possibly rioters, with social media posts telling “protesters” to bring “heat-resistant gloves,” “cover up identifying tattoos,” and wear “nondescript clothing.”

The Forces of Evil Are Against Us; I Kid Thee Not By Charles Taylor

Archbishop Vigano has written to President Trump, telling him that what we are witnessing now is part of the eternal battle between good and evil, and that he should brace himself for the fight of his life. Yep, agreed. Here is the letter:
  https://gellerreport.com/2020/06/archbishop-viganos-letter-to-president-trump-the-forces-of-evil-are-against-you.html/
  https://www.sofx.com/2020/06/10/open-letter-to-president-donald-trump-carlo-maria-vigano/

“June 7, 2020 Holy Trinity Sunday
Mr. President,
In recent months we have been witnessing the formation of two opposing sides that I would call Biblical: the children of light and the children of darkness. The children of light constitute the most conspicuous part of humanity, while the children of darkness represent an absolute minority. And yet the former are the object of a sort of discrimination which places them in a situation of moral inferiority with respect to their adversaries, who often hold strategic positions in government, in politics, in the economy and in the media. In an apparently inexplicable way, the good are held hostage by the wicked and by those who help them either out of self-interest or fearfulness. These two sides, which have a Biblical nature, follow the clear separation between the offspring of the Woman and the offspring of the Serpent. On the one hand there are those who, although they have a thousand defects and weaknesses, are motivated by the desire to do good, to be honest, to raise a family, to engage in work, to give prosperity to their homeland, to help the needy, and, in obedience to the Law of God, to merit the Kingdom of Heaven. On the other hand, there are those who serve themselves, who do not hold any moral principles, who want to demolish the family and the nation, exploit workers to make themselves unduly wealthy, foment internal divisions and wars, and accumulate power and money: for them the fallacious illusion of temporal well-being will one day – if they do not repent – yield to the terrible fate that awaits them, far from God, in eternal damnation.

A Fanatical New cult By Bruce Bennett

This bowing and feet washing can only be seen as the final conclusion of political correctness and the Great White Replacement, namely that whites become like the cult members of Jonestown, and drink their fill of the racial Kool- Aid. I remember hearing on the radio back in 1978 a tape of the last hours at Jonestown as members drank the poisoned Kool-Aid, how Jim Jones was screaming like a banshee. It reminds me of what is going down today.

Victoria to be Belted Along the Road, Alright By James Reed

There is a big problem with states signing away their freedom and destiny to foreign powers, when the wheels of fortune can turn; witness the mess that Victoria has put us in:
  https://www.skynews.com.au/details/_6162343835001

“Federal Labor senator Kimberley Kitching says foreign policy should only be within the purvey of the federal government and it is "not ideal" that the Victorian state government decided to join up to China's Belt and Road Initiative. It was revealed last month Victoria did not consult with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade before signing the second stage of a memorandum of understanding with the Communist Party. Victoria is expected to officially engage in the controversial $24.5 billion infrastructure program with China later this year, which is in direct contradiction to the federal government's public approach to Belt and Roads. The Belt and Road Initiative is an $A1.44 trillion program spanning 138 different countries designed to create a global trade network. China claims the deal will be mutually beneficial, but Beijing maintains the right to seize the asset it has built if the country cannot pay for it. This happened in Sri Lanka, where the communist party repossessed a port after the government was unable to repay the loans it used to build it. Senator Kitching told Sky News "on principle it was not good" for the Victorian government to sign up to the deal. "We have to call out something that is not right," Senator Kitching said. We need all of our ducks lined up and pointed in the same direction when we are looking at foreign policy. "It's also pretty expensive money to borrow ... borrowing money I think from Beijing would be a pretty expensive enterprise."

Rowling Over Rowling By Mrs Vera West

Well, here is one of those delightful stories in the land of political correctness as the usually pc J K Rowling makes some Tweets saying that, well, there are biologically based sexual differences, Oh, chaos:
  https://variety.com/2020/film/news/jk-rowling-transphobic-tweets-controversy-1234627081/

“Many people are calling out “Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling for a series of anti-trans tweets on Saturday afternoon. Rowling’s latest controversy began when she commented on an article from Devex, a media platform for the global development community, titled “Opinion: Creating a more equal post-COVID-19 world for people who menstruate.” “‘People who menstruate.’ I’m sure there used to be a word for those people. Someone help me out. Wumben? Wimpund? Woomud?” Rowling tweeted. People on Twitter immediately called Rowling’s comments “anti-trans” and “transphobic” as transgender people, non-binary people and gender-nonconforming people can also menstruate. Rowling followed that tweet up by criticizing the idea that someone’s biological sense isn’t real. “If sex isn’t real, there’s no same-sex attraction. If sex isn’t real, the lived reality of women globally is erased. I know and love trans people, but erasing the concept of sex removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives. It isn’t hate to speak the truth,” she wrote. “The idea that women like me, who’ve been empathetic to trans people for decades, feeling kinship because they’re vulnerable in the same way as women — ie, to male violence – ‘hate’ trans people because they think sex is real and has lived consequences — is a nonsense.”

Racist to Postpone Exams, Racist to Do Anything! By James Reed

Here is another one of those crazy university stories to add to the pile: an academic rejecting the request to postpone exams is slammed as a racist, because people of colour want it, and they must have everything they want, now, or else that black magic word will be said:
  https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/ucla-lecturer-leave-after-complaints-woefully-racist-response-request-postpone-n1228916?utm_source=amerika.org

“A UCLA lecturer was placed on leave after students criticized his response to a request to postpone a final exam because of protests over the death of George Floyd, the university said Tuesday. The UCLA Anderson School of Management said in a statement that accounting lecturer Gordon Klein's "classes have been reassigned to other faculty" as reports about his alleged conduct are being reviewed. Klein said he was following the orders of his direct supervisor when he denied the request, saying he has in the past extended or even eliminated final exams under extraordinary circumstances, including when students had to be out of the country. Students have posted criticism on Twitter and elsewhere about the way Klein rejected the student's request. On Change.org, more than 20,000 endorsements have been gathered in an effort to get him fired. The Change.org petition page includes what is said to be the email that Klein sent as a response to the postponement request. He did not challenge its veracity. "Thanks for your suggestion in your email below that I give black students special treatment, given the tragedy in Minnesota," the posted email says. "Remember that MLK famously said that people should not be evaluated based on the 'color of their skin,'" the email reads. "Do you think that your request would run afoul of MLK's admonition?"

Good News! Good News! Chinese Investment in Australia Crashes! By James Reed

     May it crash ever further:
  https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2020/jun/09/chinese-china-investment-in-australia-plunges-almost-60-to-lowest-level-since-2007

“Chinese investment in Australia has fallen by almost 60% as Beijing shifts its focus towards developing nations that have signed up for its Belt and Road Initiative.Despite record trade between the two nations, Chinese investment in Australia fell from $8.2bn in 2018 to $3.4bn in 2019, with 43% fewer deals struck. A new report puts the plunge down to tighter Chinese regulations, a negative perception of Australia’s investment rules, and a shift towards Latin America and Belt and Road projects in developing countries. The KPMG and University of Sydney study found new Chinese investment in Australia had plunged to its lowest level since 2007. Hans Hendrischke, one of the report’s authors, said the decline mirrored similar patterns in other western countries. But he said Chinese investment into Australia had fallen at a faster rate than other nations including the United States. Australian food and agricultural businesses were the biggest recipients of Chinese investment, with 44% of the total funding flowing into the sector. The result was largely driven by the acquisition of the Bellamy’s dairy company. The commercial real estate sector was the second largest recipient despite an annual decline of 51%. Significant Chinese investment also flowed into the mining and services sectors. Renewable energy projects accounted for 1% of total Chinese investments and there were no recorded transactions in oil and gas, infrastructure or healthcare in 2019. Doug Ferguson, a co-author of the report, expects Chinese investment in Australia to remain fairly subdued in the coming year.  “The impact of Covid-19 will no doubt have an ongoing influence as governments move to protect critical infrastructure and tech, and try to prevent opportunistic acquisitions of companies at undervalued prices,” he said. “Restrictions on travel have practically disabled new deal-making and due diligence activity.” However, Ferguson said a large number of Chinese companies already operating in Australia would continue to strike deals and drive trade.

The Sneaky Covid War on Cash - The modern road to Mulberry Money, Shin Plaster and Cubic Currency By Viv Forbes

15 June 2020,     Today's world is awash with Fiat Money. "Fiat" means "let it be so". Fiat money is token currency supplied and regulated by governments and central banks. Its value relies on a government decree that it alone must be used as "legal tender" in paying for anything in that country. Its value falls as its supply increases. Fiat money is not new - Marco Polo described its use in China over 700 years  ago. Travellers and traders entering China were forced by Kublai Khan to exchange their real money (gold and silver coins and bars) for his coupons, made from mulberry bark, each numbered and stamped with the Khan's seal. The Khan decreed that local traders were forced to accept them ("legal tender"). Foreigners got the goods, the great Khan got the bullion and the Chinese traders got the mulberry bark (a bit like getting the rough end of a pineapple). By controlling the supply and exchange rates for mulberry money, he became fabulously wealthy, and his citizens were impoverished.

During the American War of Independence, the colonial rebels had no organised taxing power so they printed the Continental dollar to finance the war. As the war dragged on, they printed too many dollars, and its fast
debasement gave rise to the phrase "Not worth a continental". Later, in the American civil war, confederate paper money used to support the army also became worthless. It was widely referred to as "shin-plaster", after its
highest value use in helping to bandage wounds.

No Need to Defund Police, Just Keep Up the Anarcho-Tyrannical Decay! By Chris Knight (Florida)

There goes the Minneapolis police department; whatever the antifa terrorists want, they get:
  https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/jun/07/minneapolis-city-council-defund-police-george-floyd

“The Minneapolis city council has pledged to disband the city’s police department and replace it with a new system of public safety, a historic move that comes as calls to defund law enforcement are sweeping the US.
Speaking at a community rally on Sunday, a veto-proof majority of councilmembers declared their intent to “dismantle” and “abolish” the embattled police agency responsible for George Floyd’s death – and build an alternative model of community-led safety. The decision is a direct response to the massive protests that have taken over American cities in the last two weeks, and is a major victory for abolitionist activists who have long fought to disband police and prisons. “In Minneapolis and in cities across the US, it is clear that our system of policing is not keeping our communities safe,” said Lisa Bender, the Minneapolis city council president, at the event. “Our efforts at incremental reform have failed, period. Our commitment is to do what’s necessary to keep every single member of our community safe and to tell the truth: that the Minneapolis police are not doing that. Our commitment is to end policing as we know it and to recreate systems of public safety that actually keep us safe.” Nine councilmembers announced their support and represent a supermajority on the twelve-person council, meaning the mayor, who earlier this weekend opposed disbanding the department, cannot override them. The remaining three councilmembers are broadly supportive of the effort as well, but weren’t ready to sign on, activists said. While the mayor has oversight over the police, the city council has authority over the budget and policy, and could work to dismantle the department through cuts and ordinances. The formal effort to abolish a major-city police department in America and replace it with a different model of safety would have been unthinkable even weeks ago and is a testament to the impact of the protests that began with Floyd’s death on 25 May.”

On the Surplus of Food, and the Coming Horseman of Starvation By Mrs Vera West

I had thought, like scholars such as Vaclav Smil:
https://inference-review.com/article/good-eats that the present obesity crisis was due to an over-supply of carbohydrate-rich food. But then I stumbled across a reply to this by Edward Archer, and had a brief re-think:
    https://inference-review.com/letter/the-failure-of-diet-centrism

“It should be obvious that a large food supply does not inevitably lead to obesity. After all, a large body of water does not inevitably cause drowning and an abundance of atmospheric air does not automatically lead to hyperventilation. Just as one individual drowns in a bathtub while another swims easily in an ocean, obesity is surging in nations with relatively small food supplies, such as Botswana and Nigeria. At the same time, many individuals in nations with a surfeit of food, such as Switzerland and Norway, remain lean and healthy.  The size of the macro-environment—that is, the body of water, air supply, and food supply—is not relevant, nor even related to these outcomes. There is no valid relationship between a nation’s food supply and its levels of obesity and metabolic diseases. Compared to Switzerland, New Zealanders spend a greater percentage of household income on food and have a smaller per capita food supply. Nonetheless, New Zealanders have an obesity prevalence approximately 250% greater than the Swiss. From 1910 until the 1960s, the per capita food supply in the US decreased from 3,500 calories to 3,100. This reduction was accompanied by an increase in body mass. Both logic and empirical data refute the notion that a surfeit of food, whether as a result of lower costs or a larger supply, is a causal factor in obesity and metabolic dysfunction.

So Where is the Corona Plague Now? By Charles Taylor

Where oh where has my little corona plague gone, oh where oh where can it be? Certainly not in the zombie ranks of the protesters.
  https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/06/07/white-coats-black-lives-protest-healthcare-workers-take-knee-all-have-same-organs/

“The protest movement White Coats for Black Lives, where healthcare workers kneel in groups to support protesters demanding racial equality and justice, gathered at locations across the country over the weekend.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on a White Coats for Black Lives protest outside of Emory University Hospital on Friday, where healthcare workers knelt for eight minutes and 46 seconds — the same amount of time a Minneapolis police officer knelt on Floyd’s neck before he died: The deaths of George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery came right on the heels of the COVID-19 pandemic, a disease that growing evidence links to a disproportionate impact in black and Latino communities. That is only one of the ways in which being black, Latino or Native American is associated with poorer health outcomes in the United States. Those communities also suffer higher rates of chronic health conditions, such as diabetes and heart disease, and higher rates of maternal deaths. Research suggests the racial inequities in health care go beyond the impact of poorer economic status and environment on health, to the medical impact that comes just from experiencing racism. And it calls for public notice, the health care workers say. “We all have the same organs,” Dr. Maneesha Agarwal, a pediatric emergency doctor  who kneeled from home where she is caring for her young daughter. “But how you’re treated poorly due to race can result in a lot of differences in the hormones in the body, and how your organs grow and develop. A mother’s experiences and hormonal changes can even impact her unborn child in utero. That can impact a person’s own health through life.” “I mean, look no further than coronavirus,” Dr. Johnny Jones, a gastroenterologist who protested at Emory Decatur Hospital, said. “There definitely is some intersectionality in terms of life expectancy amongst black people relative to the majority.”

China Wanted the Wuhan Flu to Spread By Brian Simpson

Trump would have rocks in his head not to push the China/Wuhan flu as an election issue, the election issue, next to, of course, the planned destruction of America.
  https://www.naturalnews.com/2020-06-07-ap-report-china-suppressed-critical-coronavirus-information.html

“Beijing sat on vital information related to the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) for weeks, according to a new report based on several recordings recently obtained by the Associated Press. As per the report, the Chinese government did not immediately cooperate with the World Health Organization (WHO), contrary to what the latter organization had previously claimed, but instead opted to drag its feet, frustrating top officials at the NGO. The news organization noted that Beijing not only deliberately suppressed the release of critical information regarding the initial outbreak in Wuhan, it also withheld a map of the virus’s genome for about a week after researchers from three different government laboratories finished mapping it. As relayed by the recordings, China only decided to release the information to the WHO after a team of Chinese researchers shared the information with another third party ?– a markedly different scenario from the one pushed by the United Nations health agency, who publicly praised China for what it called a speedy response to the novel coronavirus. This constant public lauding from the health agency, the recordings suggest, was part of the WHO’s plan to coax out more information from Beijing, with WHO staffers ?– reportedly the source of the leaks ?– heard complaining about the Chinese government’s habit of providing information piecemeal.

They Don’t Argue with Chainsaws! By Charles Taylor (Florida)

This man, who is not white, I think, maybe Hispanic, disperses white libtard protesters using his trusty chain saw, and freely mouthing racial slurs, which I, of course, do not approve of, nor the violent act.  And, I thought he used the disgraceful N -word, but not so. But, really who can stand by and correct his thinking when he has a chain saw?
  https://www.zerohedge.com/political/only-texas-man-arrested-dispersing-protesters-chainsaw

“A viral - and very bizarre - video emerged Friday showing mayhem unfolding in the usually quiet small southern Texas town of McAllen. A group of Black Lives Matter protesters were seen outside local businesses in the downtown area when a man wielding a chainsaw approaches the group ordering them to “Move! Go home!” “Don’t let those f**king trash Antifa b***h people lie to you,” the man yelled while revving the chainsaw and tearing up protest signs. He's heard shouting racial obscenities while charging protesters. Needless to say the sidewalk was promptly cleared as about a dozen people fled, while others yelled "Call 911!" Go home," the man keeps shouting while waiving the roaring chainsaw. "Don’t let those f------ n------ out there fool you," he said in a racist tirade. McAllen police later confirmed the man was detained soon after the event and that charges are pending. Some activists, however, have claimed that police aren't going to in the end pursue charges against the individual.”

The Shaker Sees the Great Shake A Comin’ By Peter Ewer

I am going to need to keep a close eye on the Shaker, who really seems to be something of an intellectual mover and shaker:
  http://thesaker.is/the-systemic-collapse-of-the-us-society-has-begun/

“For a society, any society, to function a number of factors that make up the social contract need to be present.  The exact list that make up these factors will depend on each individual country, but they would typically include some kind of social consensus, the acceptance by most people of the legitimacy of the government and its institutions, often a unifying ideology or, at least, common values, the presence of a stable middle-class, the reasonable hope for a functioning “social life”, educational institutions etc.  Finally, and cynically, it always helps the ruling elites if they can provide enough circuses (TV) and bread (food) to most citizens.  This is even true of so-called authoritarian/totalitarian societies which, contrary to the liberal myth, typically do enjoy the support of a large segment of the population (if only because these regimes are often more capable of providing for the basic needs of society). Right now, I would argue that the US government has almost completely lost its ability to deliver any of those factors, or act to repair the broken social contract.  In fact, what we can observe is the exact opposite: the US society is highly divided, as is the US ruling class (which is even more important).  Not only that, but ever since the election of Trump, all the vociferous Trump-haters have been undermining the legitimacy not only of Trump himself, but of the political system which made his election possible.  I have been saying that for years: by saying “not my President” the Trump-haters have de-legitimized not only Trump personally, but also de-legitimized the Executive branch as such.
