The fears are tied to “cash rewards for those who inform on underground churches and other ‘unofficial’ places of worship,” indicating that the government might also reward the persecution of Christians with high “social credit” scores. According to the religious liberty magazine Bitter Winter, the CCP is now using state welfare benefits as leverage to coerce people into worshiping the Party rather than Jesus. CDC says. “Use barriers, like walls (e.g., glory holes), that allow for sexual contact but prevent close face-to-face contact,” the health organization writes on its website. The recommendation is just a tip and not a firm rule, according to the website. The site includes many other tips for reducing your risk of spreading the coronavirus during sex, such as wearing a mask, refraining from kissing, using a condom and washing your body with soap and water. Hanson, during his Ingraham Angle appearance, noted that while Black Lives Matter had legitimate concerns regarding African-American issues during the early days following George Floyd’s death at the hands of a White police officer, the movement has since devolved and become what he called a forum for “blanket condemnation” of law enforcement and authorities. “…All of a sudden people were cutting their hair and saying ‘I’m not black.’ Children were accusing their parents of racism or suddenly it was ‘defund the police’ or you have to remove books from your bookshelf if they display inordinate attention to white authors,” Hanson said, referring to the social justice-related trends that have since emanated from the movement. “You’ll never be able to satisfy the iteration as they get more radical,” Hanson told host Laura Ingraham. This, Hanson said, stems in part from globalization and multiculturalism, noting that there are approximately 55 million people in the country who, due to their being born and raised abroad, may not be familiar with traditional American values.”

“A New York City judge has sentenced a former Wake Forest University assistant basketball coach to three years of probation with no jail time in the one-punch death of a tourist from Florida. Jamill C. Jones, 37, was sentenced on Thursday for third-degree assault in the August 2018 homicide of 35-year-old Sandor Szabo in Queens. He had faced a maximum of one year in jail. Judge Joanne B. Watters explained in her ruling that a jail sentence would ‘would only serve to punish Mr. Jones,’ adding ‘it is my opinion that Mr. Jones is repentant.’ Watters cited the ‘the positive impact Mr Jones has had on his community,’ which according to his attorney, Eric Renfroe, included mentoring young black girls without fathers. The ruling came as a shock to Szabo’s family, including his mother Donna Kent, who delivered a stirring, tearful impact statement at the sentencing hearing, which was conducted over video-conference after months of delays due to the pandemic. ‘He will always be a murderer, a coward,’ Kent said in her remarks. ‘No parent should ever have to endure this kind of torture.’ Current New York laws only allow misdemeanor assault charges in single-blow cases where prosecutors are merely able to show an intent to injure, rather than an intent to kill. Kent, as well as District Attorney Kirk A. Sendlein, who prosecuted the case, had both asked Judge Watters to impose the maximum possible sentence of one year in jail, citing the fact that a homicide was being charged as a misdemeanor.

“Despite Pentagon statements that it disbanded a once-covert program to investigate unidentified flying objects, the effort remains underway — renamed and tucked inside the Office of Naval Intelligence, where officials continue to study mystifying encounters between military pilots and unidentified aerial vehicles. Pentagon officials will not discuss the program, which is not classified but deals with classified matters. Yet it appeared last month in a Senate committee report outlining spending on the nation’s intelligence agencies for the coming year. The report said the program, the Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon Task Force, was “to standardize collection and reporting” on sightings of unexplained aerial vehicles, and was to report at least some of its findings to the public every six months. While retired officials involved with the effort — including Harry Reid, the former Senate majority leader — hope the program will seek evidence of vehicles from other worlds, its main focus is on discovering whether another nation, especially any potential adversary, is using breakout aviation technology that could threaten the United States. Senator Marco Rubio, the Florida Republican who is the acting chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, told a CBS affiliate in Miami this month that he was primarily concerned about reports of unidentified aircraft over American military bases — and that it was in the government’s interest to find out who was responsible.”

“A band of armed children allegedly committed 15 carjackings since late June in Chicago’s South Side and have yet to be caught, police said. The majority of the auto theft has taken place in the past week with six separate carjackings on Saturday alone, according to a Chicago Police bulletin that was provided to the Daily Caller News Foundation. Law enforcement are on the hunt for between four and six African American suspects aged 10 to 17,  the bulletin said. The group of kids has reportedly fired guns in two of the incidents and allegedly approached their victims while idle or parked at a gas station. Many of the robberies occurred in broad daylight, the notice read. “I’m scared to use my garage. I don’t feel safe in my neighborhood,” carjacking victim and Chicago elementary school teacher Alyssa Blanchard told Fox 5. Blanchard said she was forcibly removed from her BMW by two kids brandishing handguns in a hospital parking lot on July 14. The group pointed the firearms at her head, grabbed her purse and sped off with her luxury vehicle, according to Fox 5. The following day the armed teens allegedly used the BMW to steal another vehicle from a 21-year-old, injuring the young woman in the process. Police found Blanchard’s car days later after it had been crashed, the local outlet reported. “I teach this age group and I can’t believe they would do this,” Blanchard told Fox 5.

“A professor at High Point University in North Carolina has released a study of how many hot dogs a human being can possibly eat in a ten-minute time span. Using data from 39 years of the traditional Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest, Dr. James Smoliga has determined that 83 hot dogs is the most a human can consume in that time period. “Dr. Smoliga’s calculations show that when adjusted for body mass, the world’s most competitive hot dog eaters could outeat a grizzly bear or a coyote, as measured by the amount of food per unit of time,” wrote the New York Times, although the paper added that “Humans do not come close to eating as much as the Burmese python, which can consume up to 75 percent of its body weight in a single meal.” “The maximal limits of human performance are a perpetually interesting, interdisciplinary topic of scientific discourse,” writes in his study, adding, “Digestive system capacity is not typically explored as a measure of human performance, but the ability to consume and digest large quantities of food is advantageous if resource availability is unpredictable.” After watching hot dog eating champion Joey Chestnut break his own eating record year after year, Smoglia grew interested in what the upper limit of human encased meat endurance would be. Over the most recently 4th of July weekend, Chestnut consumed 75 hot dogs, winning for the 13th time. Miki Sudo won her seventh straight women’s championship by eating a record 48.5 hot dogs. (Sudo also holds world championships in eating kimchi, hotdish, and ice cream.) In making his calculations, Smoglia used an existing formula by Stanford researchers that figured the limits of running speeds for dogs, horses, and humans. But not all academics are buying Smoglia’s inter-species calculations, arguing that normal eating habits, of, say, snakes, are different than abnormal human eating habits in contests. “It’s nice to make a comparison amongst species, but I don’t know if it’s exactly the same,” said Annelies De Cuyper, an animal nutritionist at Ghent University in Belgium, to The Times. “If you put them all together in a contest, I don’t know who would win,” she told the paper.”
