Would You Buy a Used Car from the Australian Labor Party? How about a Used Country? By James Reed

A simple tale of the numbers: https://www.macrobusiness.com.au/2024/08/labor-cannot-be-trusted-on-immigration/. "In Labor's first federal budget in October 2022, it forecasted net overseas migration (NOM) of 470,000 over its first two years (FY 23 and 24). Instead, Labor delivered around one million NOM, more than double Labor's projection."

So how did they get it so disastrously wrong? No point arguing that the immigration was uncontrolled, since in Covid they shut it down easily enough. Clearly the plan was to bring them in quick, in any way possible, as international students, whatever. The only thing that matters for Australian immigration, as I see it, is that the migrants need to be non-White. Just look at the streets of the CBD in any Australian capital city.
