Will Russia Invade the UK? Or, Just Nuked to Oblivion, as Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev Suggests? By Richard Miller (London)

As documented below, Russian spy ships are mapping British energy and resource infrastructure, such as farms and cables. Bob Seely MP, who sits on the Foreign Affairs Committee said that there is "only one reason" for Putin to send the ships and that is to understand how he could sabotage our infrastructure in a war.” Seely also said that Britain was unprepared for war, although he did not detail why this has happened, but we all know that a concern for woke and crazy social justice issues has taken central stage since the 1960s, accelerating in stupidity and oppression in more recent times. Thus, Britain’s gas resources could be easily wiped out by the Russians.

To top it off, confronting the latest round of sanctions that Britain has imposed upon Russia, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said that the United Kingdom is the “eternal enemy” of Moscow. He declared that Britain will be sent into the “abyss” by nuclear attack. Medvedev has made such threats before, but he has been said to have Putin’s ear as deputy chairman of Russia’s security council, so even if the remarks are unhinged, this is an unhinged time.

Vladimir Putin is "preparing for war" by sending his spy ships to map wind farms and cables off the British coast, a senior MP has said. Russia has been using a "ghost ship" to survey the North Sea in a bid to find Britain's vulnerabilities in the event of a major conflict with the West. Bob Seely MP, who sits on the Foreign Affairs Committee told the Telegraph there is "only one reason" for Putin to send the ships and that is to understand how he could sabotage our infrastructure in a war.

Mr. Seely, who also has a PhD in Russian military strategy warned while Russia and China are gearing up for a wider conflict, "Britain is not ready."

He warned that our largest vulnerability, as Putin will have learned, is in being a coastal nation surrounded by sea. He said Poland in the East would be ready to "defend European soil" in the event of a war with NATO, but the alliance is exposed at sea because Putin could easily cut out the bloc's energy and communications supply.

Britain has just three pipelines that provide 43 percent of our baseline gas supply. Mr. Seely noted there are about 70 communication cables but these could be easily wiped out in a "deep-sea sabotage operation".

He said there is a "need" for Britain to bolster its maritime defense, working with Scandinavian, North Sea, and Baltic Allies.

He added: "All these sea-faring countries have a vested interest in preventing Russian ocean sabotage. But Britain’s history is unique and our naval experience unrivalled, especially among our northern European allies."

"The need is critical," he added. "This century will witness a struggle between two versions of humanity: open societies like our own versus closed, authoritarian societies using all forms of state power to oppress their own people and threaten others. It is a struggle that we have not wanted, but one that we cannot, and must not, lose."”

“In his latest warmongering rant, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev declared that the United Kingdom is the “eternal enemy” of Moscow and said that Britain will be sent into the “abyss” by the waves of a nuclear blast.

Responding to the latest round of sanctions imposed by the British government following the imprisonment of dual UK-Russian citizen and opposition politician Vladimir Kara-Muza, the Kremlin’s top loudmouth, Dmitry Medvedev issued his latest sabre-rattling tirade on the Telegram messaging service.

Medvedev, who previously served as both prime minister and president of the Russian Federation before his current role as deputy chairman of the nation’s security council, fumed that Britain is a “disgustingly damp” island and described the British Monarchy as a “degenerate” institution.

Britain was, is and will be our eternal enemy,” Mr Medvedev wrote, going on to describe recent prime ministers Boris Johnson, Theresa May and Rishi Sunak — whose name he claimed to have forgotten — as “bizarre creatures”.

Issuing his most recent threat of using nuclear weapons, the former Russian president added: “In any case, until their impudent and disgustingly damp island goes into the abyss of the sea from the wave created by the latest Russian weapons system.”

“Let it be, as the Beatles sang…” Medvedev’s rambling message concluded.

The former Russian president was likely referencing the RS-28 Sarmat — colloquially referred to as ‘Satan II’ — super-heavy intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) unveiled by Vladimir Putin in 2018. It is believed that were such a missile stationed in the Westernmost regions of Russia that it could potentially reach London in just 13 minutes.

Just last month, Medvedev threatened a nuclear attack against the International Criminal Court (ICC) in the Hague in the Netherlands after it issued an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin over alleged war crimes in Ukraine following last year’s invasion, including the kidnapping of people, including children, from the country to Russia — a claim that Moscow denies.”
