Wear Masks or Die, and in Queensland, Keep Away from Grand Kids! Try Not to Breathe! By Paul Walker (Brisbane)
I am not sure what I can say about this Brisbane story that the international internet critics have not said, beyond the need for all people to be aware that we are in a brave new world now, and this is not going to end anytime soon, sso keep your bloody mask on! It is something out of the horror movies, maybe 28 Weeks Later (2007) being most appropriate; have a look at the trailer on YouTube. There are the beginnings of a post-apocalyptic feel to things, that will get worse, I believe, as the social glue breaks down, and things fall apart. But at least we have our masks, security blankets against all the dark things out there in the Covid night.
“A shocking video out of Brisbane, Australia shows an elderly man suffering a suspected heart attack after he was arrested by police for not wearing a mask outside while exercising.
The incident occurred in Brisbane Botanical Gardens on Monday while the man was walking. He has a mask exemption due to his medical condition.
The clip shows the man being handcuffed while complaining about his wrists hurting. A woman who is accompanying the elderly man tries to answer the questions police officers are asking about the man’s place of work.
“Absolutely disgraceful,” says the woman as the man is led away.
The video then cuts to him having a violent seizure as he appears to suffer a heart attack.
Police remove the handcuffs as the elderly man desperately reaches for his medicine while the woman shouts, “Just let me get it for God’s sake!”
“See, do you believe me now, you pr*cks!” she states as one of the officers says he is unable to administer the medication (although he’s perfectly willing to induce a heart attack in an old man for not wearing a piece of useless cloth over his mouth).
A final image from the scene shows paramedics attending the scene as the elderly man still lies prostrate on the ground.
“Police allegedly joked when he had a seizure that they did not believe he had heart problems that warranted the mask exemption,” reports Rebel Media. “The man’s heart medication was revealed to be in a plastic bag in his backpack.”
An Instagram user called _josephmerlino claiming to be the man’s son posted a message asserting, “My father could have suffered brain damage from this. Permanent injury or death. All for what because of a mask?”
“Police are supposed to serve and protect and there is none of that is happening here,” he stated.
The footage once again underscores that thanks to the country’s brutal enforcement of its disastrous ‘zero COVID’ policy, Australia is no longer a free country.

Well, at least Australia is excelling at something, albeit, totalitarianism. And, the eyes of the world are upon us, and communist China, envious. Go, Aussie, go! Would I want to come to this place if I was an international student, dripping cash? Don’t know, dripping cash is just too much out of my experience. All I know is that I am so scared now of being caught without a mask, that I shower in one, then drink through one, eat through one, and sleep with two on, as the good Dr Fauci advices. You never know, the mask police could break down the door, and catch me without one on.
Still, if you are in Brisbane, or anywhere where there are active Covid volcanoes, and you are an unvaccinated grandparent, authorities warn to keep away from grandkiddies, you know, cross infections. Still, with continuous lockdowns, most grandparents will die off over the years, or in the next decade of Covid lockdown, and probably won’t be players I suppose, so hopefully the authorities will get things under control, somewhere, over the rainbow. By that time it will be Covid-2030.
“Queensland Chief Health Officer (CHO) Jeannette Young has warned unvaccinated grandparents not to go “anywhere near” their grandchildren as the CCP virus Delta variant spreads to four schools in the Australian state.
This comes as Queensland recorded 16 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, all linked to a cluster at Indooroopilly High School in the state’s capital city, Brisbane.
One of the new cases was another student at Indooroopilly High School, two at Brisbane Grammar School, two at Brisbane Girl’s Grammar School, three at Iron Side State School, five household family members connected to the new cases, and one neighbour of one of the known cases.
“If you’re a grandparent of one of these kids, one of these households, and you haven’t been vaccinated, please don’t go anywhere near your grandkids,” Young told reporters on Tuesday.
Young is also concerned that authorities have not yet been able to trace the outbreak to its source.
“We know the very first two cases that arrived into Queensland on the 29th of June, but I don’t know how it’s got from either of those two people to the first family in that Indooroopilly, Taringa area,” she said.
The state’s CHO also said that while she wished to vaccinate every teacher, there weren’t enough vaccine doses, but she urged any teacher of the age of 60 to get the AstraZeneca jab. “Younger teachers need to go and make that decision with their GP,” she added.
The Indooroopilly High School cluster has now grown to 47, with over 4,000 people now directed by the CHO to quarantine at home as a result.
Queensland Deputy Premier Steven Miles reminded residents of their legal obligation to remain at their homes if the CHO has directed them to do so.
“While all of us in the southeast (of Queensland) have to stay home, those who are subject to home quarantine directions are legally required to stay home,” Miles said. “They cannot leave home except in an emergency or to get a test.”
Outlining the rules of home quarantine, Miles said people under these directions could not leave their residences unless it is to seek essential medical care, avoid injury or illness, escape the risk of harm, or to get tested for COVID-19, the disease caused by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus.
People who are subject to home quarantine directives who need supplies or assistance can contact the Community Recovery Hotline on 1800 173 349.
Queensland Health Minister Yvette D’Ath said, “The message this time, for this lockdown, is simple: don’t ask yourself ‘Can I go out?’ ask yourself ‘Should I go out?'” D’Ath said. “‘Is the reason I’m leaving my home so important it is worth risking an extension to the lockdown?'”
The Queensland government on Monday urged people to reconsider the need to attend work, even if they had done so during previous lockdowns.
Home learning is in place for Queensland state schools from Tuesday until the end of the week, with private schools having similar arrangements, Miles said on Monday. “This is the first time that we’ve seen an outbreak like this one, spreading in schools amongst students, teachers, and parents,” he said.
“It will likely see thousands of people subject to home quarantine directions,” he added.”
I thank the authorities for protecting me from my grandkids, who I now see are really little gremlins.
