This was social critic, James Howard Kunstler's, comment on the news of Antony Blinken, US Secretary of State, announcing that Ukraine will get rushed into NATO membership, ASAP.

Article Five of the NATO charter states that an armed attack against one NATO member, is an attack against all, and must be met with a counter-attack. That means that NATO will instantly be at war with Russia. And Putin has threatened the use of nukes if Russia looks like losing.

It seems that the US Democrats are even more crazy than the neo cons, yearning for nuclear annihilation.

"Secretary of State Antony Blinken reaffirmed the U.S. commitment for Ukraine to eventually join NATO but held back commitments ahead of the alliance's annual summit, which will take place in Washington in July.

"Ukraine will become a member of NATO. Our purpose at the summit is to help build a bridge to that membership," Blinken told reporters Thursday in Brussels.
