Trump Wants Greenland as China is Likely to Invade it in the Future! By James Reed
Senator Marco Rubio reaffirmed President Trump's serious intention to purchase Greenland for U.S. security and economic interests. In an interview, Rubio emphasized that this is not just about acquiring land but serves national strategic goals. He defended Trump's diplomatic approach and suggested that China could exploit Greenland if the U.S. does not act. Rubio also highlighted Trump's belief that since the U.S. is already committed to Greenland's defense, it should have greater control over the territory. He predicted a stronger U.S. presence in Greenland and the Panama Canal during Trump's second term.
Rubio said that it is "realistic" to expect China could "install facilities that give them access to the Arctic with the cover of a Chinese company, but that in reality, to serve a dual purpose, that in a moment of conflict, they could send naval vessels to that facility and operate from there." Either that or they simply walk in and take Greenland. No doubt Greenland is one country on China's list of conquests, including Australia.

"Secretary of State Marco Rubio has reiterated President Trump's serious intentions to buy Greenland on behalf of the United States and make it a territory for security and economic purposes.
In an interview with Megyn Kelly Thursday, Rubio stated "This is not a joke, like, what he's saying is pretty accurate. People have been talking about it for years. This is not about acquiring land for the purpose of acquiring land."
"This is in our national interest, and it needs to be solved. President Trump's put out there what he intends to do, which is to purchase it," Rubio added.
Kelly further asked Rubio if Trump is considering using economic or military strategies in an effort to acquire the island, currently under Danish control, which the president suggested he could do during a press conference at Mar-a-Lago earlier in this month.
Rubio responded that Trump is a "businessman who is involved in politics" and generally will not remove anything from the table while starting to engage in negotiations.
"That's a tactic that's used all the time in business; it's being applied to foreign policy and I think to great effect in the first term," Rubio remarked.
Rubio also commented on a "fiery" call Trump had with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen with regards to Greenland.
"I wasn't privy to that phone call, but I imagine the phone call went the way a lot of these phone calls go, and that is, he just speaks bluntly and frankly with people," Rubio said, adding "And ultimately, I think diplomacy, in many cases, works better when you're straightforward, as opposed to using platitudes and language that translates to nothing."
Rubio further noted that there is a worrying possibility of China establishing a presence in the Arctic near Greenland if the United States takes a back seat.
Rubio suggested it is "realistic" to expect China could "install facilities that give them access to the Arctic with the cover of a Chinese company, but that in reality, to serve a dual purpose, that in a moment of conflict, they could send naval vessels to that facility and operate from there."
"Denmark can't stop them. They would rely on the United States to do so," Rubio urged, adding "And so his point is, if the United States is on the hook to provide as we are now, we have a defense agreement with them to protect Greenland, if it comes under assault, if we're already on the hook for having to do that, then we might as well have more control over what happens there."
Rubio added that within the span of Trump's second term, the US will cement a stronger presence in Greenland, as well as the Panama Canal, to bolster the national security interests of the country."
