After the January 6 fiasco, where Trump, for reasons that have never been given, led his followers, not into the promised land, but to the hell of cells, Trump now has called for protests, to take back the country. However, he did not use the qualification “peaceful.” Fortunately, the majority of MAGA types do fear the they will be entrapped in any such protests, as government agents move to stir up trouble and set people up, as was done on January 6. And, to make matters worse, Trump has made it clear his intentions by threatening death and destruction if he is prosecuted in New York. He posted an image of himself holding a baseball bat next to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s head. This is beyond foolish and invites another prosecution for making such threats, even if the Stormy Daniels affair is dropped. And, it stirs up those who may be already on a short fuse.
“Donald Trump on Friday threatened “death and destruction” if he’s criminally charged in New York — writing the shocking social media warning after posting an image of himself holding a baseball bat next to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s head.
Mr Bragg is spearheading the process that could see Mr Trump formally arrested.
“They are HUMAN SCUM!” the 76-year-old former president raged in one post asking why Mr Bragg “refuses to do the right thing and ‘call it a day?,’” reported theNew York Post.
Mr Trump is seeking a rematch against President Joe Biden in 2024 and previously used heated language ahead of actual violence.
That was done most notoriously on January 6, 2021, when he told thousands of supporters to march the US Congress and “fight like hell” to prevent certification of Mr Biden’s win, which they proceeded to do by smashing into the building and battling with police.
Mr Trump shared the image of himself holding a baseball bat — with Mr Bragg’s hands up — on his Truth Social platform on Thursday as he devoted his day to attacking the prosecutor for pursuing a case over a “hush money” payout to porn star Stormy Daniels. The bat image was pulled from an article that he shared but was not removed.
The one-time President kept on raging until the early hours of Friday with continued incendiary name-calling.”
I am surprised that they did not depict him howling at the moon!
