Time for a Treaty? Doubling Down After the Voice Failure By James Reed
I have said that after the defeat of the Voice, which seemed to be likely by the polls, that the globalist elites will not be stopping with a defeat in the referendum. That means that the constitutional road to their agenda is closed for maybe ten years. Thus, they proceed with Plan B, the treaty and South Africa style Truth Commission. This issue will be covered in another article where we can see the prime minister supporting this idea. Independent senator and progressive No vote campaigner Lidia Thorpe has said that indigenous Australians need truth telling and treaty. We will see that some leading lights from the No side who opposed the Voice will be coming out to support a treaty. As in the United States, this will be pushed through by legislation, unless met by massive public opposition. Time to start organising is now; we can defeat it once more!
“Independent senator and progressive No vote campaigner Lidia Thorpe said Indigenous Australians need truth telling and treaty now the referendum has failed.
“The problem with the referendum is that it was just shoved down our throats so hard that that’s why we’re hurting now,” she said on ABC radio this morning.
“We’re told it’s going to be good for us, and if Australia doesn’t support us in that Australia doesn’t love us. Well, I think that’s a really wrong narrative to begin with. And that’s why people are hurting so much today.”
Thorpe said Australia should follow South Africa’s lead of a Truth and Justice Commission.
“The government can do [that] next week. Tomorrow in Parliament when I’m there,” she said.
“They can also stop all of the deaths that happen in our communities. They can send the money that they need to keep the community going.”
