The following article which the person wants circulated, is a little choppy, but still gets the message over, regarding 15-minute cities, taking the example of Bath in the UK, given as a poster child for the15-minute city, which is supposed to create a liveable space without cars, and reduce carbon emissions. What the proposals have done is as follows:
1.blanket 20 km per hour speed limit;
2.parking charges based on car emissions;
3.low traffic neighbourhoods;
4.resident parking zones based on emissions.
As pointed out below this is a long way from the Green dream of low carbon emissions in some sort of urban wonderland, and is really about communism. The suggestion is local grass roots resistance to the entire proposal before it gets up and running. As the material below and links indicate, the proposals are put in a pleasant frame but critical awareness is always needed.

There is no such thing as a 15 minute city, except for A MASSIVE UNDERTAKING TO FUND AND ACCOMPLISH IT.

2.find out changes to your neighborhood plans (they label the neighborhoods first);
3.find out when public consultations are going on and go in a group;
4.in Canada join Action4Canada who does those types of representations to their local authorities.
5.push back, educate everywhere
6.Does the Oil and Gas Sector understand what is happening within local governments run by who knows who these organizations are.
Their zero sum solutions are all communism. but then you know that."
