The Strange Death of the West By Peter West

     Is all of this talk about White genocide and the collapse of the West, “over-the-top”? Perhaps those who deal only with economic issues may think so. But, economic continuity depends upon a stable society, and there is not much economics in civil war zones. Any economy depends first upon the continuity of supporting institutions, and if these are threatened, there goes your economy.

     Let me introduce another test, called The Australian test. If there are claims made in this direction in that newspaper, which is itself globalist and pro-immigration, then you know that we must be onto something. Thus, if we find someone normally supporting mass immigration and multiculturalism saying, “Well, there may be a wee problem here,” then we know that there is a mighty big problem. If that same person begins to speak in Peter West terms of “disaster” – well, watch out!

     Consider Greg Sheridan’s piece, “Merkel Might Yet Leave Europe in Ruins,” The Australian, September 21, 2017, p. 12. The article discusses Angela Merkel’s almost certain victory in the coming German elections, even though she has set in motion the demographic end of Germany through her open door immigration policy: “The self-loathing continent has moved too late [to] save its cultures.” Bad grammar, but correct sentiment.

     Sheridan discusses a new book by Douglas Murray, which he describes as “brilliant,” The Strange Death of Europe:

     The book begins with the claim: “Europe is committing suicide,” and Sheridan says, “by the end of his 350 withering pages it is hard to disagree.” There are two forces of national suicide at work; the first being masses of unskilled Islamic immigrants, and the second being a complete loss of European identity.

     The two forces are interrelated, as the ruling elites now seek to redefine Europe along migrant lines, with national identity being redefined to suit the new migrants, who are set to be the new Europe. As in Australia, European history is viewed as “racist,” which is the new cool word of the trail blazing elites.

     Sheridan goes on to summarise some grim statistics from Murray’s book:

“In three million British households, no adult uses English as their main language. Last year, in France, 33 per cent of high school students identified as Christian, while 25 per cent identified as Muslim. Only 22 per cent of Catholics say religion is important to them whereas more than 80 per cent of Muslims say religion is important to them. In the decade from 2001, the Muslim population in Britain nearly doubled to a little shy of three million and has kept rising ever since.  Nor can it plausibly be argued that the Muslims who came to Europe embrace European culture and values. Most European Muslims are certainly law-abiding  but it is not remotely Islamophobia to point out their distinctive values and cultures. In 2008 a poll of British Muslims found that zero per cent thought homosexuality morally acceptable. A survey last year found 52 per cent of British Muslims thought homosexuality should be made illegal. London, we all believe, is much more liberal than the British countryside, yet anti-homosexual attitudes are almost twice as strong in London as in the countryside, according to Murray. Why? The number of immigrants in London.”

     As I see it, the homosexuality example illustrates the open conflict between immigration/multiculturalism and liberalism. The same argument can be made with women’s rights issues. However, the ruling elites warmly accept these contradictions, because it just does not matter to them, as long as the race genocide agenda is kicked along the road to ruin. Everything European and traditional must go, regardless of multiculturalism having a European part to it. Statues of explorers are now under protest by the beasts of the Left. The move to abandon Australia Day, and possibly replace it with a day of sack cloth and ashes, of guilt and wailing, may gain momentum, as a number of councils now do not recognise Australia Day;

     Murray’s argument can be replicated across the West, with the US facing not Islamic displacement, but Hispanic, and Australia, Chinese. This will mean the end of the West. In the US, there is likely to be ethno-racial chaos and a quick end of civilisation. A Chinese-ruled majority Chines Australia, with no monarchy or even memory of social credit, in relentless pursuing growth beyond that of the West, will perhaps still strive to maintain a high culture, or the Chinese ruling class may choose to mine the country, then make this land into a nuclear waste dump. After all, our own leaders want to do this now, so why should the Chinese be blamed? At least, our elites will go down with the former rotting ship once known as “Australia.” Who will want them?

     Of course, there are always problems with “normie” books, and Murray says that strong cultures can absorb large numbers of migrants. No, they cannot, and the immigration issue proves it. Immigration and multiculturalism have been used as political weapons to breakdown ethnic identity in Western countries, so pro-growth and the White genocide lobby can have their way. What we are seeing is the logical ramifications of these policies which the people have allowed to happen.

     Think “Safe Schools,” write large over every issue, and one gets an approximation of the plight of the West. Decadence, decay and decline has now been institutionalised into the system by the existing crop of ruling elites. They don’t see abandoning the West as decline; they see it as “progressive,” “ho, ho, the West has got to go.”

     If you want to save your civilisation from the cycle of collapse, don’t leave your run for home too late. We are now approaching the stage where it is impossible to win, but one might as well fight anyway, for something to ease the pain of civilizational death throes.  Spengler was right: “civilizations like humans are born, briefly flourish, decay, and die.” Damned pity that we are the unlucky ones to see the ship of the West sail of into the bottom of the ocean.

     It is all unfolding now. Do you see it? Do you feel it now? All of the above  was said at least a decade ago, and now we are getting hints of this even in the mainstream press. The future will be truly terrifying.
