The Shape of Deportations to Come? By Charles Taylor (Florida)
This story goes back to the time before the Trump assassination attempt. Trump was interviewed by Time, and indicated that he may use the military to deport illegals. It set the Left off to no end, since the Leftist mantra of today is that illegal immigrants, being non-White, are special people who are far superior to the existing population. The mere thought of deporting those who were according to the black letter of the law, illegals, and thus invaders, is beyond the pale for the Left. These illegals are needed for the purpose of the Great White Replacement.
Would Trump do it as president? I doubt it. He would move so slow that the courts would tie him up in knots as they did with the border crisis in his time, and the never built great-beautiful-wall-of-Trump. He could have put the army down the border on day one, and ended it all. A wall of impenetrable barbed wire defended by drones could have been put into place.Still, while I do not have faith in Trump having the strength to do what is needed, I will still vote for him just to see Leftists get heart burn, one of the few remaining pleasures of modern life!
"In an interview with Time, Donald Trump laid out some actions he would take when he takes office again, one of which he says could be using the military, if required, to enforce mass deportations of illegal immigrants.
Time writer Eric Cortellessa claims that Trump described "the outlines of an imperial presidency that would reshape America and its role in the world."
Cortellessa continues, "To carry out a deportation operation designed to remove more than 11 million people from the country, Trump told me, he would be willing to build migrant detention camps and deploy the U.S. military, both at the border and inland."
Later in the piece, the writer provides the direct transcript of what Trump said.
When asked if he would use the military inland and at the border, Trump replied "I don't think I'd have to do that. I think the National Guard would be able to do that. If they weren't able to, then I'd use the military."
He added, "You know, we have a different situation. We have millions of people now that we didn't have two years ago."
Cortellessa then pointed out that the Posse Comitatus Act forbids use of the military against civilians.
Trump responded, "Well, these aren't civilians. These are people that aren't legally in our country."
"This is an invasion of our country. An invasion like probably no country has ever seen before," Trump further urged, adding "They're coming in by the millions. I believe we have 15 million now. And I think you'll have 20 million by the time this ends. And that's bigger than almost every state."
Cortellessa again tried to get Trump to say he would use the military for deportations, to which he replied "I can see myself using the National Guard and, if necessary, I'd have to go a step further."
"We have to do whatever we have to do to stop the problem we have," Trump asserted, adding "Again, we have a major force that's forming in our country, when you see that over the last three weeks, 29,000 people came in from China, and they're all fighting age, and they're mostly males. Yeah, you have to do what you have to do to stop crime and to stop what's taking place at the border."
