The Monster from Wuhan By Brian Simpson

I am thinking of some B-grade movie here, the Monster from the lost lagoon, no it is Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954), which probably scared many naughty boys, sneaking out to watch late night TV in the 1960s, while their parents slept the sleep of innocence. Today, we just laugh at this stuff. But, I digress, blame it on exhaustion from these articles, and preparing for doomsday. China is getting pretty upset about claims that it had anything to do with the Covid-19 pandemic, being communist-pure. Why, it is claiming that Pompeo, who reminds me of Popeye, is even betraying Christianity:

“China’s state-run Global Times newspaper accused Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Tuesday of “betray[ing] Christianity” and bringing “shame to the evangelical Christians” of America for saying that “enormous evidence” exists linking the current pandemic to a biological laboratory in Wuhan, where it originated. The first cases of Chinese coronavirus are known to have occurred in Wuhan, a central Chinese city of 11 million. Chinese officials initially stated that the virus originated in a “wet market,” where anyone can sell animal carcasses for consumption, and shut the market down in early January. Police “disinfected” the market, making it impossible for scientists to search for samples of the virus to study. Now, China denies that the virus originated there, despite the fact that all earliest known cases were documented in Wuhan. Instead, Chinese officials have speculated that the virus originated in a U.S. Army laboratory in Maryland, offering no evidence to corroborate this claim. More recently – and in the anti-Pompeo editorial on Tuesday – Chinese media have begun floating the idea that some link exists between the Chinese coronavirus and diseases related to the use of electronic cigarettes in the United States. The Global Times column on Tuesday was a response to Pompeo stating in an interview on Sunday that there was “enormous evidence” linking the Wuhan Institute of Virology to the pandemic.

“We’ve said from the beginning that this was a virus that originated in Wuhan, China. We took a lot of grief for that from the outset. But I think the whole world can see now,” Pompeo said. “Remember, China has a history of infecting the world, and they have a history of running substandard laboratories. These are not the first times that we’ve had a world exposed to viruses as a result of failures in a Chinese lab.” Pompeo concluded that, while not complete, investigations appear to show “there is a significant amount of evidence that this came from that laboratory in Wuhan.” The Global Times responded by attacking Pompeo’s religion in an editorial titled “Pompeo Betrays Christianity with Lies.” “It is generally believed that Pompeo is a devout evangelical Christian. Sometimes he even ‘preaches’ at diplomatic occasions, for which he was criticized,” the newspaper claimed, without providing examples of what sort of remarks it was referring to. “It seems that he does not care about being a subject of controversy. Nonetheless, his lying for political purposes is contrary to his label as a so-called ‘devout Christian.'” “It is widely known that Christian doctrine opposes lying – it’s a sin. A false witness shall not go unpunished. And he that utters lies shall perish,” the editorial claims, placing an emphasis on retribution and punishment that is largely absent from the four Gospels that contain Jesus’s teachings and failing to mention the Christian promise of mercy and forgiveness. “Pompeo has been lying. He has brought shame to the evangelical Christians in the US, misusing their trust in the Republican party. He is no doubt a degenerate politician and despicable from the perspective of religion,” the article asserted. The editorial claimed Pompeo “lied” in his remarks because he “hates socialist China and, in particular, cannot accept China’s rise. He hence launched a propaganda campaign to ruin China’s image.” It goes on to make a series of outrageous statements suggesting that the virus originated in the United States.

Ok, the communists are just stirring up trouble with American evangelical Christians, but those guys only care about the Middle East and end times, and would be happy for a nuclear war between China and America, believing that they would be saved. Yeah, good for them. As for China, the evidence is mounting against them:

“A Wuhan laboratory is the “most likely” source of the COVID-19 outbreak now ravaging the globe, according to a U.S. government analysis that catalogs the evidence and concludes that other explanations for the origin of the coronavirus are less credible. The document, compiled from open sources and not a finished product, says there is no smoking gun to blame the virus on either the Wuhan Institute of Virology or the Wuhan branch of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, both located in the city where the first outbreaks were reported. But “there is circumstantial evidence to suggest such may be the case,” the paper says. “All other possible places of the virus’ origin have been proven to be highly unlikely,” the document concludes. A copy of the report, compiled this month, was obtained by The Washington Times. Chinese authorities have said the origin of the virus is unknown but initially stated that it came from animals at a “wet market” in Wuhan where exotic meat is butchered and sold. They said the virus may have jumped from bats to animals sold at the market last year and then infected humans. U.S. officials have grown increasingly skeptical of that version of events. President Trump confirmed this month that “a lot of people” are investigating the origin. Army Gen. Mark A. Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said U.S. intelligence agencies are investigating whether the virus escaped from a lab or was the result of a naturally occurring outbreak. “At this point, it’s inconclusive, although the weight of evidence seems to indicate natural,” the general said on April 14, “but we don’t know for certain.”

The government analysis says the animal host explanation doesn’t hold up well because the first human diagnosis of COVID-19 was for a person who had no connection to the wet market. According to reports from China, no bats were sold at the market. Meanwhile, a number of suspicious actions and a paper trail suggest that the virus escaped from one of the labs, though China is clamping down on the ability to pursue those leads. “The most logical place to investigate the virus origin has been completely sealed off from outside inquiry by the CCP,” said the document, referring to the Chinese Communist Party. The party has taken draconian steps to control information about the virus since January. “A gag order to both places was issued on Jan. 1, 2020, and a major general from the PLA who is China’s top military microbiologist essentially took over the [Wuhan Institute of Virology] since mid-January.”

That seems the best presentation to date of the bioweapon hypothesis, although the evidence is still consistent with an accidental, but negligent release, by the higher than the white mean IQ Chinese, as American Renaissance often tells us, but not recently. The endgame will have to be a fight to decide the issue, with nuclear missile hurled at each nation like spears, and the last radioactive man standing, wins. What then about mean IQ levels?
