The Federal judge who halted Trump's federal spending controls, quite unconstitutionally, belongs to an organisation whichhas received $117.6 million in government funding in total (ending in 2023). "FEDERAL JUDGE McCONNELL MUST RECUSE HIMSELF IMMEDIATELY. AFL has uncovered a major potential conflict of interest for Judge John McConnell, Chief Judge of the federal district court of Rhode Island, who halted President Trump's temporary spending freeze," American First Legal wrote on X.
This is a massive conflict of interest, and that the judge did not excuse himself isgrounds for impeachment. Federal law (28 U.S.C. § 455) is clear: judges must disqualify themselves in any proceeding where their impartiality might reasonably be questioned.It would serve as a lesson for other Left-wing judges.
This radical far-left judge called President Trump a "tyrant" and decries racism as a "white people problem."
