The CrowdStrike outage that led to the internet failing worldwide and short-term chaos, from not being able to get groceries, to surgery being cancelled. It is most instructive to watch, although Dore gets angry and drops a few F-bombs, so be warned. Kurtz was asked by NBC Today, why there was no redundancy built into the update? Why no security in making updates? Kurtz stared literally chocking and diverted the question. The presenters did not hound him about why this outage should have happened at all, as bringing down the internet worldwide is highly significant.

Again, this shows the vulnerability of a computer-based society, with no such redundancy, and we can see once more the dangers of Central Bank Digital Currencies.
