The Loneliness of the Long Distance Generation By Tom North

Consistent with the predictions of those following Spengler predicting the cultural collapse of the West, we find that the millennial generation are suffering from crippling loneliness. Cigna and Ipsos conducted the online survey of more than 20,000 U.S. adults, using the UCLA Loneliness Scale. This is a clear indication of social breakdown proceeding at a rapid pace, as many young people are not getting married, and not even having personal relationships. Information technology, advertised as bringing people together, has actually further contributed to this alienation, making face-to-face communications, less important than endless, meaningless texting and the mania of Facebook.

Decay, is the way of today.
