The Left Eats Carpet Over Kyle Rittenhouse Decision: Sees America as Totally Fascist! By Charles Taylor (Florida)

The largest media outlets in Brazil had to retract articles this week which claimed that the Rittenhouse case involved a white supremacist youth who killed two Blacks, and shot another, in a gun rampage. But, that is the line that was pushed by much of the Left and mainstream media, to various degrees. But, here is the best of the best by Umair Haque: “America’s Fascists are Telling You Who They Are. Are You Listening? America’s Right is Openly Threatening Violence. How Far Will They Go?” As I see it, this is an alternative reality, where what we view as basic facts are rejected. I quote this writer, then critique parts. The quotes are needed because the article is extraordinary and I do not want to misquote. Read his words for yourself.

“I turned on the news yesterday, and a frightening theme quickly emerged. The first story was about Ahmaud Arbery — gunned down with a shotgun by a Trumpist after a miles long chase. The second one, about Kyle Rittenhouse, a Trumpist who shot three men in cold blood with a machine gun, killing two of them — and how the judge is pleading on his behalf. The next one was about death threats against local officials and teachers becoming commonplace by everyday Trumpists. The last one? It was about Representative Gosar, who tweeted a video where he…murdered AOC.”

The bold claim is made that Rittenhouse shot three men with a machine gun. It was not a “machine gun.” Gosar should not have done his satire which triggered the Left. But the Left in 2020 did murder memes and things like a comedian (Kathy Griffin) posing with a mock severed Trump head. Why no mention of all this? Surely a balanced report should have at least addressed this point? Even if Gosar was wrong, which I think he was, the Left has done worse, much worse, and did it first.

“It doesn’t take a genius, does it? To connect the dots here. Violence is rising on the American right, fast and hard. And that is a very, very bad thing. It’s a bad thing not just for obvious reasons. So let me begin with the perhaps non-obvious ones, and then we’ll discuss it more broadly.”

Reply: Nothing here about the violence of the Left, including murders of conservatives during 2020 and 2020. No discussion of the murder of Trump supporter Ashli Babbitt by a Black cop on January 6, with no charges. No violent protests about that from whites, eh?

“Violence on the American right has to be understood in a special perspective — a historical one. Historically, the American right has been ultra violent. It has never been afraid to use extreme violence to achieve its aims. What am I talking about? Well, during the 60s and 70s, when America had a mild swing “left,” or towards just plain decency, the right proceeded to kill off every single leader it could. JFK was gunned down. Then MLK. Malcolm X. The list is endless. This campaign of violence by the American right lasted decades.’

Reply: What about the hundreds of millions killed by communists? Why no mention of this? The Left are the masters of genocide. And, Malcolm X was killed by a non-white, Thomas Hagan, aka Mujahid Abdul Halim.

“And the result was the American left was left a broken, beaten thing. Before this campaign of violence, the American left subscribed to noble and big dreams — ending world war, poverty, hunger. Today? It can barely muster the courage to sign a minor-league infrastructure bill. The campaign of violence by the American right worked.”

“So the American right has never, ever been afraid of extreme violence. The only period in which the American right wasn’t openly violent was perhaps the last decade or three. And even that’s debatable — if you consider that the CIA flooded America’s Black neighborhoods with crack in the 80s and 90s.

I think it’s crucial to understand that, because the question is often framed: how far will the American right go? The answer to that question is disturbing: as far as it needs to.”

Instead of seeing this as something new, I’d see it as a rebirth. The rebirth of violence on the American right. Violence is once again being legitimised as a perfectly acceptable means to an end. What end is that? To turn America back into the kind of country the Trumpists have never stopped wanted — an ethnically cleansed supremacist state. A fascist country.”

Reply: How do you get fascism, the political doctrine from this? What sort of fascism? If anything, the Left produces this intimate tie to the corporates which is the essence of fascism.

“Kyle Rittenhouse’s defence is that he acted in self-defence. For … gunning down unarmed people with … a machine gun. Ludicrous? But the Trumpists believe it. Violence is portrayed as self-defence — it’s a fascist theme, because the fascists are the persecuted ones, the long-suffering, the pure of faith and true of blood. They can’t be bad people, because they’re incapable of it, by virtue of blood and faith. It’s the hated subhumans who are persecuting them. Hence, fascists are always just acting in self-defence.”

Reply: Well, the jury decided that Rittenhouse case was self-defence, and on film you can see that one attacker had a hand gun pointed at Rittenhouse, so it is false to say that they were unarmed, just false. No mention of the paedophilia charges of one of the attacking “victims,” either. This monster had been jailed for 10 years for 11 counts of sodomising five little boys. This writer seems to presuppose that those opposed to him must be fascists, and that this trio were saints!

“When Rep Gosar threatened to murder AOC…the Republicans defended it, right down party lines. Fascism. Why? Because it was “just a joke.” Is it, though? If I sent out a video where I killed anybody, it wouldn’t be a joke. It would be a threat. Especially if they were a political opponent. We don’t cross these red lines in democracy, precisely because democracy is the resolution of differences by non-violent means. To threaten to kill an opponent is the most fundamentally anti-democratic act there is, short of actually killing them, which is what it leads to. So why portray it as a joke? To legitimise and license violence.”

Reply: Leftists have done the same and worse, actually killing conservatives, and certainly assaulting scores. That does not make what Gosar did right, for it is just as wrong.

“How long is it before the Trumpists start shooting? Wrong question: they already have. Ahmaud Arbery. Kyle Rittenhouse. The real question is: how long until they start shooting teachers and principals and county officials? Average people like you and me?”

Reply: obvious nonsense to panic the Leftist cubs more.

“They are openly telling you they want to kill anyone standing in their way. Anyone in the way of making a supremacist state. That’s fascism. Only this time, as I’ll discuss, it’s much more dangerous than the last. They’re telling you.”

Reply: who is doing this? Oh, the entire Republican Party it seems:

“The Republican Party is now embracing its destiny as a fascist organisation. Violence permeates it from top to bottom. Those at the top threaten to murder their opponents. The entire party defends it, with false equivalencies and bizarre justifications. Meanwhile, the average Trumpist, the true believer, is taking all that licensing of violence increasingly seriously. On the right, there’s a frenzied craving for blood rising every day. It’s now driving the American right to a hysterical collective mania of violence. Where will it all end? You know where. I don’t have to tell you. They’re already telling you. They want to kill you and everyone like you, unless you fall into line with them.”

You get more Ahmaud Arberys on one end. You get more Kyle Rittenhouses on the other. Only this time, there are no trials. The fascists have won. They’ve got what they wanted, which is a society based not on the rule of law, but the power of violence.”

Reply: This is exactly the sort of society that the Left are creating. But, the simple answer is for a peaceful separation. Contrary to what this baiting article says, most conservatives do not want a bloody civil war, which is what this sort of thinking will lead to. We need a peaceful divorce and all should work towards it. But instead we get:

“ … on Jan 6th was to transform the GOP into a party and a base united by violence, craving another coup, a million little ones across the country, joined in the desire to annihilate any opposition standing in their way. The consolation prize of Jan 6th was to show that fascism could work. Because they almost got away with it. They — Trumpists and the GOP — were thrilled by Jan 6th. And that moment transformed them into a truly fascist movement and party. Now there was no going back: violence was to be the new aim this entire politics was about.

American fascism has grown up. This is not a drill.

The left is not taking the idea of violence emerging on the right nearly seriously enough. It needs to be understood by every sane and thoughtful American: these guys want to kill you. They are not kidding around. They are every bit the equivalent of the Taliban or ISIS. They threaten to murder women they don’t like. They gun down people they hate in the streets. Don’t rest under any illusions they don’t want the same for you. Stand in their way, and the very same violence and hate will come to greet you, too — doesn’t matter what colour or race or gender you are. They are out for blood.

The left — the Dems, you can debate if they’re left all you like — should have nipped all this in the bud. With a special process of justice for the events of Jan 6th and the Trump years. Committees and subpoenas are not enough. Jail time for a goofy “shaman” is totally missing the point. There should have been the equivalent of Nuremberg Trials. For the abuses of power throughout the Trump years, and especially for Jan 6th. Would that have riled up the Trumpists? Sure. Would it also have scared them? Yup.”

Reply: Nothing here about the torture and human rights abuses of the January 6 protesters, who did nothing more than previous Leftists and feminist “invaders” of the Capitol building in the past did. For the Left, these past invasions seemingly do not exist, or are permitted, while people protesting about electoral fraud are not. You can be sure though that if Trump had stolen the election, the hypothetical left protesters would be regarded as heroes.

Further, the problem with this is that doing this “fascism” to over 70 million people will not turn out well for everybody. But, that is how the Left thinks, and we cannot live with them. Time for secession, the Great Divorce.
