The Joe Biden Pardon of Son Hunter Controversy, Deepens, By Charles Taylor (Florida)
While it seems that the pardon by false President Joe Biden of his son Hunter Biden for "everything" will go through, as presidential pardons go, there is still a problem of sorts. While Hunter's defence team filled a motion to have the cases dismissed completely, Special Counsel David Weiss filed his own response, stating that even a presidential pardon should not wipe away the entire case:
"The Government does not challenge that the defendant has been the recipient of an act of mercy," said Weiss in the filing. "That does not mean the grand jury's decision to charge him, based on a finding of probable cause, should be wiped away because the defendant falsely claimed that the charges were the result of some improper motive or selective prosecution."
As I understand it the prosecutors want the case to stand on the record. That may be so, but Hunter does nor care, as he is free to snort cocaine and do other depraved things. He is not likely to care much at the end of a boozy, druggy day. And remember, Joe Biden said that Hunter is the smartest person he knows, which says much about the company the old man keeps!
