The Falling Star of “Star Wars,” By James Reed
I remember when the first Star Wars movie came out, and actually was thrilled to see a classic good versus evil battle. Things were changing in the cinema then, but nowhere near the decadence and woke evil that we have today. But that was "back in the day," and that day has long gone. Now we have Star Wars: The Acolyte (which means a follower), which is virtually unrecognisable to old timers like myself, who saw the original trilogy, then switched off. I was only interested to write this after seeing some extra-critical videos by Scottish film iconoclast, The Critical Drinker on YouTube.
What we have with Star Wars: The Acolyte, is a spinoff for Disney, and while back in the 1960s I have fond memories of old Walt Disney introducing he Sunday night wholesome TV program for all the family, not so now. The series cost $ 180 million to create, which is a sizable budget for TV. I was first drawn to the issue by The Critical Drinker discussing one scene where space lesbian witches, created by magic, a child, I think, the scene was almost too weird and occultist to understand, but no male need apply. And the Jedi, who were space knights, and about whom books have been written about Jedi ethics, turn out to be male patriarchal oppressors. I also saw some rather disturbing scenes, where "the force" was used as an occultist energy rather than as a power for good. Indeed, the whole thing, what I could stand to watch, was a moral reversal of the Star Wars universe.
Nothing that we enjoyed on the past shall remain unsoiled by the mad woke regime. Star Wars fans are in revolt against the series, just as occurred with the attempt made to destroy the legacy of The Lord of the Rings with its woke TV series, that also crashed like a lead balloon. The cultural wars continue.
