The Face of Hijrah: the Islamic Colonisation of the West by Charles Taylor

French right intellectual, Guillaume Faye in The Colonisation of Europe (Arktos, 2016; originally published as La Colonisation de l’Europe (2000), argued that based on the evidence of the time, of Islamic terrorism, mass migration, gang rapes, the creation of no-go zones for police, Islam was set to colonise Europe. That was said in the year 2000. Was Faye over-dramatic?

The zones are safe havens for criminals and terrorists, but the state does not admit this because it would show that “it’s a sign of a failed state,” as one senior French police officer put it. In Germany migrant unemployment is three times higher than that of native Germans, and 74 percent of recently arrived migrants have no qualifications at all.

In Sweden almost 10 percent of young white women aged 16 to 24 years reported being sexually assaulted, with 29 percent of these cases being severe, such as rape. Are Christians concerned about this, or is the opposition to “tribalism” and commitment to multiculturalism now so far gone, that complete religious plurality is accepted? Apart from the globalists, seeking an end to Northern European man, there is Turkey, which as William Kilpatrick writes, is Islamising under Erdogan, and establishing what he (Erdogan) hopes will be a nuclear-armed caliphate:
“Erdogan has turned a blind eye to al-Qaida. And he has permitted ISIS to use Turkey as its logistical base, economic headquarters, and recruitment center. Earlier this year, the State Department claimed that all of the 25,000 foreign recruits to ISIS have entered Syria through Turkey.
Turkey is also the gateway between Syria and Europe. It is through Turkey that the bulk of Muslim migrants flow into Europe. This gives Erdogan enormous leverage over the future of Europe—a continent which is already reeling from a flood of migrants and refugees. How is the leverage applied? In March, the European Union reached a deal with Turkey that would in essence turn Turkey into a buffer zone against further immigration. Here’s how Foreign Affairs summarized the bargain:

Turkey has agreed to act as a giant refugee holding center, keeping the millions of migrants fleeing conflict in the Middle East from reaching Europe and accepting those sent back from Greece. In exchange, the EU will pay Turkey three billion euros on top of the three billion pledged last November to help care for the refugees. It will also speed up the approval of visa-free travel to Europe for Turkish citizens and revive stalled negotiations over Turkey’s accession to the EU.

So Turkey will keep the Syrian migrants out of Europe as long as Turkish citizens are allowed almost unlimited access to Europe through visa-free travel. The net result is that the Islamization of Europe will continue. And, of course, there’s nothing to stop Turkey from opening up the refugee floodgate whenever it sees fit. Turkey’s control of Mid-East migration gives it the upper hand in its dealings with Europe.

The other part of the bargain is the revival of negotiations to admit Turkey to the EU. If Turkey is ever successful in that endeavor, it would spell game-over for Europe. If Erdogan wants to re-establish the caliphate, and if he is so keen on union with Europe, it is likely that he envisions Europe as part of the future caliphate. This is something that the Ottoman sultans dreamed of, but were never able to accomplish. But Erdogan might be able to pull it off. There is now a very large contingent of Turks in Germany who seem to bear more allegiance to him than to Germany. Jennifer Oriel (“West Proves Not all Cultures are Equal,” The Australian, http://www.theaustralian.com.au/opinion/columnists/jennifer-oriel/west-proves-not-all-cultures-are-equal/news-story/146149c99d7daa26472a3efc3a2d1be90), rightly observes than multicultural ideology, which has guided Western immigration policy for the past 40 years, has had an undermining effect:

“Its consequence is clear: Islamism has become a Western condition. Successive governments have diluted Western values to the point where they are no longer taught in schools. The result is a population unschooled in the genius of our civilisation whose youth cannot understand why it is worth defending. Multicultural ideology must give way to a renaissance of Western civilisation in which Australian exceptionalism is celebrated and Islamism is sent packing.
Multiculturalism is not merely the acceptance of diverse cultures, or open society. It is the a priori belief that cultural diversity has a net positive effect on the West, coupled with a double standard that excuses lslamic and communist states from embracing it.
Thus, Western nations must open their borders while Islamic and communist states remain closed. The West must accept the myth that all cultures are equal while Islamic and communist states celebrate their unique contribution to world history. Under multicultural ideology, the greatest civilisation of the world, Western civilisation, is held in contempt while theocratic throwbacks and communist barbarism are extolled.
The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Zeid Ra’ad al- Hussein, regularly frames the West as xenophobic and racist. In a recent speech, he decried xenophobia and religious hatred. But he did not address the Chinese government’s persecution of Christians, or the governing Islamist regime in Gaza, Hamas, for hatred of Jews. Rather, he took aim at the West, saying: “My recent missions to Western Europe and North America have included discussions of increasingly worrying levels of incitement to racial or religious hatred and violence, whether against migrants or racial and religious groups. Discrimination, and the potential for mob violence, is being stoked by political leaders for their personal benefit.”
Western governments should explain why they continue to send taxpayers’ money to the UN when it has become an organisation expressly devoted to defending the interests of Islamist and communist regimes against the free world.
The growing hatred of Western culture goes unremarked by politicians whose populism is firmly rooted in political correctness. No major political party has calculated the cost of multicultural ideology to Western society. Instead, they extol it as a net benefit without tendering empirical evidence. When politicians claim truth without substantive supporting evidence, ideology is at play.”

Ideology is indeed at play. And what a bloody mess this is all going to be, when it finally all explodes.
