The Drone Attack Upon Ukraine's Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant; Who Did It? By Richard Miller (London)
On February 14, 2025, a high-explosive drone struck the protective shell of Reactor 4 at Ukraine's Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, where the catastrophic 1986 meltdown occurred. The claim made by Ukrainian president Zelensky was this was a Russian drone, and he claimed to have the wreckage to "prove' it. Just like police who set some people up on drug charges, always find some drugs from a search. Recall that Russia was supposed to have done an Equally insane thing, in blowing up the Nord Stream pipeline, which now seems to be from independent operators from the Ukraine, but we all know it suited US interest to keep Germany energy deprived.
The details: The attack caused significant damage and ignited a fire, which was promptly extinguished. Despite the breach in the outer containment structure, radiation levels remained stable, as the inner containment was not compromised.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russia of orchestrating the attack, labelling it an act of terrorism that jeopardizes global security. He emphasized the need for international pressure to hold Russia accountable.
In contrast, the Kremlin denied involvement, suggesting the incident was a "false flag" operation by Ukraine intended to disrupt potential peace negotiations.
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirmed the explosion but reported no breach of the inner containment. The agency highlighted the persistent risks associated with military activities near nuclear sites and called for restraint to prevent potential nuclear catastrophes.
This incident coincided with the Munich Security Conference, where U.S. Vice President JD Vance met with President Zelensky to discuss lasting peace and security guarantees for Ukraine. The attack has intensified international concerns over nuclear safety amid the ongoing conflict and has been viewed as a significant obstacle to peace efforts.
Everything points to this being yet another false flag set-up, as Russia maintains. It does not serve any military interest for Russia to bomb Chernobyl and expose the continent, including Russia, once more to dangerous radiation levels. More likely, Zelensky is delivering a message to he West about what he is capable of doing, if he does not get his way, or he and his gang are threatened with exposure. Everybody goes down.
