     As we all know, guns cause crime, firing themselves, so the gun banners say, so the same must be true of knives, which grow legs and arms and stab people. If this was not so, then there would be something mighty problematic to explain:

“Earlier this week five German cities saw stabbing attacks on the same day with several hospitalised and at least two migrants declared suspects in connection with the attacks. The attacks have generated considerable media attention in once-peaceful Germany, where this level of violence is unusual. The first attack occurred in Cologne at around 4:40 am Sunday and came about following a dispute at a local hookah bar. As the dispute became more aggressive, violence broke out with one of the men involved stabbing another man several times with a sharp object, forcing him to require emergency surgery to save his life, German tabloid Bild reports. … Another man described as having an Arabic background is wanted by police for a stabbing in Mülheim an der Ruhr along with four other suspects. The victim claimed that he had been lured to the site of the stabbing by an acquaintance and was then attacked on arrival. The suspect in the final knife attack in Frankfurt, a 19-year-old, phoned the police and gave himself up after he is alleged to have been involved, along with seven others, in the stabbing of a 22-year-old who was hospitalised. The attacks come just two months after three women were stabbed in Nuremberg and just over a month after an Afghan migrant stabbed a pregnant 25-year-old Polish woman killing her unborn child in the process.’

     If this was America, it would be used as a “reason” to shut down private gun ownership, because, well, knives were used, which is highly relevant, as knives are a bit like guns, at least in the minds of the progressives. However, for Germany, the elites can just settle for further clamp downs on free speech, and even more rammed-up immigration, hyper-drive immigration. That will surely stop the knife attacks. Maybe even outlaw private ownership of steel.
