The Burning of Woke LA, Product of Anti-Western Ideology! By Charles Taylor (Florida)
The LA fires continue to rage out of control at the time of writing, fuelled by unusually strong winds, and aided by massive amounts of dry fuel in the area. Social critic and professional sceptic, Michael Shellenberger, has put the dire situation down, not to climate change as the media elites are saying, but DEI anti-civilisational forces and mismanagement, such as lack of water (in turn caused by misguided conservation issues that limited water availability to the area), and flawed fire emergency preparedness. These misguided environmental conservation programs led to limits upon available water, so people had nothing to save their homes: "We needed more water reservoirs. We needed more water recycling and desalination. But it was opposed by the environmental groups like Sierra Club, like NRDC, whose donors control Gavin Newsom, they control Mayor Bass," Shellenberger said.
Add but one more disaster, including now at least 10 deaths, and numerous fire injuries, to the modern cult of environmentalism.
Michael Shellenberger, in a discussion with Sean Hannity, critiques the catastrophic response to fires in LA. He attributes the failures to what he describes as an anti-civilization ideology and mismanagement. He particularly criticizes the lack of water infrastructure and emergency preparedness, which he believes are key areas that need immediate attention.

Shellenberger argues that the disaster was preventable, highlighting the neglect in mobilizing essential resources and the impact of budget cuts under the current administration. He emphasizes that environmental policies have hindered necessary developments like desalination, which is crucial for a city near the ocean, and need to be reconsidered.'"
