The Archbishop of Canterbury Wants to Abandon the White Jesus! By Peter West and Brian Simpson

During this relatively slow news period, the lull before the storm, while we await civil war in America, with both Trump and Biden claiming victory, we consider pieces that we did not get to in the year, having to keep up with the news, summarise masses of material daily, and get it all down into a concise article, then on to the next one, like a production line. It is what it is. So, here is the story:

“The Archbishop of Canterbury has suggested that Jesus should not be portrayed as white.

Reverend Justin Welby insisted the church must not ignore the Black Lives Matter movement and said Christians should rethink how Jesus Christ is portrayed as a white man.

He said this needs to be reviewed in light of anti-racism protests worldwide but added he did not want to throw out the past by moving forward.

The Most Revd and Rt Hon Welby, 105th Archbishop of Canterbury, was asked whether Jesus' characterisation needs to be looked at, appearing on BBCRadio 4's Today Programme.

He said: "Yes of course it does, this sense that God was white. You go into churches around the world and you don't see a white Jesus."

"You see a black Jesus, a Chinese Jesus, a Middle Eastern Jesus, which is of course the most accurate, you see a Fijian Jesus."

The Archbishop insisted he did not want to "throw out" the past but said the "universality" of Christ needs a rethink.

He added: "Jesus is portrayed in as many ways as there are cultures, languages and understandings.”

First, even in his own terms, that different races and cultures have their own portrayal of Jesus, is not a problem, since the Son of God is beyond race and ethnicity. It is quite likely that a Black man and a Nordic White could be standing next to Jesus, and each see him through their own conceptual scheme. I do not see anything theologically wrong with this. But, given this much more logical line than the politically correct Welby, there is nothing to stop White people portraying Jesus as White! Of course the point of all this is to delegitimise Whites, but it does not take much to deflate the archbishop’s nonsense.

Secondly however, it is likely that people in the Middle East at that time were “White,” not Nordics, but still Mediterrean Whites. The Greek empire at the time of Alexander was White, and indeed, the Egyptians were White, as documented with the latest evidence in Arthur Kemp’s The Children of Ra (2019): “Lavishly illustrated with over 106 full color pictures, DNA evidence and a complete historical overview, this book proves that white people created the initial Egyptian civilization-and that ancient Egypt culture came to an end once those people had been bred out of existence. Contains the dramatic DNA evidence which shows that Tutankhamun was of the same racial stock as present-day western Europeans, additional DNA evidence and much more. "Eurocentric history is back!"

One of the Gebelein predynastic mummies, dating approximately from 3400 BC to the late Predynastic period, had red hair and was nicknamed “ginger”!

After the rise of Islam, then the Mongols, the people of the Middle East became a mixture of White, Black and Asiatic, as we know it today, and is the likely fate of the West:
