With the false Biden presidency about to erupt at any moment now, with China overjoyed at having their boy in, the world will be turned upside-down, more so than with the CCP virus freak out. Biden will lockdown the US economy for 100 days, supposedly for Coviddy reasons, even though there is, as reported at this site, scientific evidence of the ineffectiveness of lockdowns. Never mind, it does wonders for the Chinese system. And, the economic destruction of the US will have kick-on effects upon the Australian economy, all bad. That is assuming that we do not go into yet more lockdowns with the so-called mutant versions of Covid-19 now doing the rounds.

What to do in these depressing times of semi-collapse? Obviously change the system, especially the economic and financial system. Our experts are onto that one, and I will get back to you. In the meantime, people will need to still eat, surviving on the meagre cruel gruel of the dole. But even that may go, with the coming, no jab, no life, where it is pretty certain that welfare recipients will be the first experimented on re vaccines, no vaccine, no welfare.

Some hope; an article at returntonow.net, discusses how one can produce 7,000 pounds of organic food per year on a tenth of an acre using permaculture. This is doable for many people.

When Jules Dervaes moved to his Pasadena home in the 1985, there was no soil, only adobe-like clay.

He and his family spent years bringing the earth back to life with rock dust, chicken and goat manure, fermented compost and effective microorganisms.

The Dervaes’s haven’t used organic NPK fertilizers since 2007, and have never used synthetic NPK.

They make the most of their small space with a modified version of square foot gardening they call “square inch gardening.”

In square-inch gardening plants are packed as closely together as possible to prevent evaporation from the soil and save water.

The Darvaes believe soil should never be bare and exposed to the elements. They ignore the spacing recommendations on seed packages and sew them as close together as possible in symbiotic arrangements.

“Bigger vegetables like broccoli or peppers are planted with a carpet of greens – lettuce, arugula, etc., underneath … the green carpet acts like a living mulch, preventing weeds and keeping the soil moist,” it says on their website UrbanHomestead.org.”

It is true that many people rent and do not have a backyard to speak about. But, in some rented properties, there is still some space for vegetables to be grown in pot plants, which is better than nothing. It is surprising what one can produce when hunger becomes a master again.
