“A pro-abortion feminist dropped the typical leftist charade in a recent interview, admitting that abortion was indeed about killing a human life, but argued that killing a human being is just fine.
“I wonder if we could think about defending abortion as a right to stop doing gestational work,” author Sophie Lewis said. “Abortion is, in my opinion – and I recognize how controversial this is – a form of killing. It is a form of killing that we need to be able to defend. I’m not interested in where human life starts to exist.”
Normally, the political left will argue that abortion is not killing a human being, but rather necessary healthcare or a right to bodily autonomy. Lewis decided that that argument was no too mild for her tastes, saying she is “interested in winning radically.”
Thus, abortion is “justified” killing. Well, “justifications” are as plentiful as weeds growing in the garden, and the radicals need to carefully think about where this desensitisation process is going to lead, as an inevitable logical conclusion of their thought.
