Sell Greenland? How About “Selling” Australia Now to the US While the Going is Good! By James Reed

     There comes a time when big decisions need to be made. Take Greenland for example, the land of ice.  Trump is considering buying it because of the Chinese threat:

“Speaking on the TV circuit on Sunday, White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow confirmed that the US president is really mulling the purchase of world’s largest island: "It's an interesting story,” Larry Kudlow told Fox News Sunday. “It’s developing. We’re looking at it. We don’t know." He also reminded host Dana Perino that “years ago” another US President, Harry Truman, also considered buying the 2,166,086-sq-km island, 80 percent of which is covered with ice. According to Kudlow, Denmark - which incorporates Greenland as a self-governed territory - should sell it to America because “Denmark is an ally.” “Greenland is a strategic place… they’ve got a lot of valuable minerals,” he explained, and he is right: Danish surveys have found that the owner of the island would stake a claim to around 900,000 sq km of the continental shelf in the Arctic Ocean. And on Sunday afternoon Trump himself confirmed the report was legitimate when he said speaking to reporters that Greenland is "strategically interesting" and "we’d be interested, but we’ll talk to them a little bit. It’s not No. 1 on the burner, I can tell you that,” the president said. "It’s just something we’ve talked about,” Trump told reporters when asked about the idea. “Denmark essentially owns it. We’re very good allies with Denmark. We’ve protected Denmark like we protect large portions of the world, so the concept came up."

     Now Australia is quickly being swallowed up by China, and this is a bigger threat to the US and pacific security:

“The bloodless coup by communist China taking over Darwin Port seems set to continue as Chinese nationalists move onto the Tip of Cape York Peninsula. On a second visit to the Tip this week Chinese interests were shown the ruins of Pajinka Resort, nestled on about 700 acres of mostly undeveloped land , by members of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Wymarra tribe. Local Aboriginal elders and genuine traditional owners for the area are aghast China could buy the three Perpetual Leases should the Department of Natural Resources allow the local government authority which holds the title in trust to be transferred. A local Islander identity assisting the delegation, has applied to have the Northern Peninsula Area Regional Council transfer the lease into his name, which, according to local Aborigines, would allow it to be on-sold to Chinese interests. A lease in perpetuity has no expiry date which means it can be held indefinitely. The potential Chinese buyers have been reported taking photographs of the entire area including the rugged northern coastline sparking great security concerns. It is believed state and federal authorities too are concerned about the Chinese delegation getting their hands on such a valuable and strategic site. The Wymarra delegation has been proposing a new resort complete with a Greg Norman-designed golf course within sight of the iconic Tip.”

     This is a typical story today, illustrating the basic point of loss of independence and sovereignty. I raise the point for debate, something that should have been debated after World War II, namely that it is unlikely that Australia can hold this country, regardless of how many migrants are taken in; numbers in an age of technology don’t count. And, a fifth column of traitorous elites have sold us out, and the buy up of vast tracks of Australia is already well advanced. It is time to consider becoming state of the United States, for protection, assuming that all of their problems can be solved. Of course, if the country plunges into civil war, then this is not a goer, and we become a colony of China.  But, either way, it is too late to realistically strive for national independence, as things have, as usual, been left too late. I simply can’t see the Australian people doing what it takes to preserve this country. I know that one of the rules of our side is not to throw in the towel, but to eternally whistle in the dark, but really, if there is a point to all of this writing it is to present realistic solutions to problems. We are heading to the worst-case scenario, and the time for idealistic thinking has long passed. What do you think?
