Russia’ Nuclear War Preparations By Richard Miller (London)
It seems that the West is playing a game of "chicken" with Russia to see how close the tensions can be reached to nuclear war. Russia has warned that it will make use of its vast nuclear arsenal if faced with an existential threat. How this idea is defined will depend upon circumstances, but clearly attacks upon Russia itself could enliven this, as with NATO troops joining the direct battle. And while some still think that mutually assured destruction (MAD) will prevent a nuclear exchange, Russia, now with superior hypersonic missiles, does not believe that, and is quite prepared to fight with nukes. Thus, their civilian population is being prepared for nuclear war, and there would be no reason to go to the effort of doing this if they did not take the threat seriously. Consider this recent report from Newsweek:
"Russian high-school students will be trained how to protect themselves in a possible nuclear war as part of the national curriculum, a local publication has reported.
Students will learn about "the combat properties and damaging effects of weapons of mass destruction, as well as methods of protection against them." It will be part of a subject being rolled out in high schools in Russia called "Fundamentals of Security and Defense of the Motherland," newspaper Kommersant reported on Tuesday, citing a document from the Ministry of Education.
Russian officials, including former President Dmitry Medvedev, have warned on multiple occasions that a nuclear war could break out amid the conflict in Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin said in September 2022 that Moscow was prepared to use nuclear weapons to defend its "territorial integrity" and the topic is regularly discussed on Russian state TV."
Russia also has vast underground nuclear bunkers for the population, while the West has nothing, at least for ordinary people; the elites are well prepared. This issue is not even seriously discussed here in Britain, and from my check of the Australian media, including Freedom Movement material, there is no discussion, let alone preparations at all. So, if the big ones are dropped, it is easy to predict the aftermath.

"The Russians have warned us over and over again that they will use nuclear weapons if they are forced into a direct war with western powers. So why are most western leaders not taking those threats seriously? Ukraine is not worth fighting a nuclear war over. Both sides would be wise to try to find a peaceful resolution while it is still possible to do so. But instead, we continue to see escalation after escalation. In particular, the Biden administration seems determined to see how close it can go without pushing things completely over the edge. This is very foolish, because the Russians are very serious about fighting a nuclear war if they are pushed too far.
This week, Newsweek is reporting that high school students in Russia will be trained what to do if a nuclear war breaks out "as part of the national curriculum"…

Here in the United States we rarely discuss the possibility of nuclear war, and any politician that suggested that we should train our students what to do if a nuclear war happens would be relentlessly mocked.
But over in Russia things are much different.
As I discuss in my latest book, the Russians have been feverishly preparing to fight a nuclear war, and such a scenario is discussed on Russian television all the time.
On Wednesday, the guy that could one day replace Vladimir Putin publicly warned that a war with NATO would result in an "apocalypse" and "the end to everything"…
NATO is a huge military bloc, the total population of the Alliance member states is about 1 billion people, and their combined military budget can get as high as $1,5 trillion.
So, because our military capabilities are thus incomparable, we will simply be left with no choice. The response will be asymmetrical. To defend our country's territorial integrity, ballistic and cruise missiles carrying special warheads will be put to use. It is based on our military doctrine documents and is well known to all. And this is exactly that very Apocalypse. The end to everything.
This is why Western politicians must be telling the bitter truth to their voters, and stop taking them for brainless morons; to explain to them, what will really happen, and not to play the false mantra of getting ready for war against Russia over and over again.
Dmitry Medvedev keeps saying stuff like this over and over again.
Since the year 2000, he is the only person to serve as president of Russia other than Vladimir Putin.
And once Putin is gone, there is a very good chance that Medvedev will be the one to replace him.
If that turns out to be the case, we are going to be in so much trouble.
With Medvedev at the helm, the Russians would not hesitate to use nuclear weapons if it became clear that a shooting war with the United States could not be avoided.
So you might want to pray for Putin's health.
Yes, I am quite serious about that.
Because if Medvedev replaces Putin, the risk of nuclear war would increase dramatically."
