Quick! Ban the Transgender Illusion Professor! By James Reed

     By now we all know that the university system is not based upon classical liberal values such as free speech, but rather, upon cultural Marxist ones. Oh, I know, they try, but at the end of the day, the Left rise up and for all effective purposes there may not be any departure from the globalist party line. After all, there are no academics in Australia who have a position, and who are actively critical of ANYTHING the status quo does not like. No criticisms of immigration, multiculturalism, or anything Alt Right, let alone defending traditional Christian values. There are not even any social creditors in any departments that I could see from an internet search. Maybe they are hiding, and I do not blame them if they are, for the universities, as shown by US riots over the years, are dangerous fanatical places, because many students are dangerous fanatics.

“A US professor of paediatric medicine, who says the transgender movement is based on ideology rather than science, will speak at the University of Western Australia despite pressure to ban him. A student petition with more than 6,000 signatures is protesting against the appearance on Friday of the paediatric endocrinologist Dr Quentin Van Meter, who is on a national tour sponsored by The Australian Family Association. Van Meter has said that using puberty blockers for children with gender dysphoria was akin to child abuse. “Transgender is actually a delusional disorder,” he said. “It’s a state of mind with no biologic basis for it that can be found.” Van Meter is president of the American College of Paediatricians, which is known for its opposition to marriage equality, gender reassignment and abortion. A UWA statement said on Wednesday that while the university did not endorse the opinions of its speakers, cancelling the event would “create an undesirable precedent for the exclusion of objectionable views” from the university. “The views which have been expressed by the speakers in the past, particularly with respect to transgender people, are at odds with the university’s values of respect for human dignity and diversity,” the statement said. “That respect, in relation to LGBTIQA+ people generally, has been evidenced by the Rainbow Flag, which has flown for some months at the front of the UWA campus.”

     In this case I must admit that I am impressed that the university in question has not yet backed down, but it is still early days yet, and then there is the tried and proven method of the Leftoid students and feral antifa buddies ramping up a huge security bill. We will wait and see how things go. Nevertheless, we would not have these problems if at a minimum, Arts/Humanities/Social Sciences were eliminated from the university. That would be an excellent first step for the protection that taxpayers desperately need. And, as always, our goal must be to close down the immigration recruitment centres know as universities.
