Politics and Knife Attacks in Australia By Chris Knight (Florida)

Following from the stabbing and tragic deaths at the Bondi Junction shopping centre, there was a knife attack upon Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel, at the Christ the Good Shephard Church in Wakeley. The former attack was not regarded as a terrorist attack, while the church stabbing was, being religiously motivated, according to some reports, but the police are investigating this. In the Bondi stabbing, Joel Cauchi, who stabbed and killed six people and hospitalised another 12 people, was a known mental health patient with a long history of schizophrenia, who was not medicated or monitored. The system failed badly here.

However, the 15-year old (some reports say 16 years), was a recent convert to it seems radical Islam, and had been on a good behaviour bond after a previous flick knife incident. During and after the stabbing he was reported to be saying "Allahu Akbar."

The crime has been classified as an act of terrorism. As well, there was a crowd of church supports who gathered and assaulted police, injuring several police. Here details are unclear about their motive, but a fair guess is that some were seeking some sort of vigilant "justice." If this is right, then it is truly disturbing. But it is not clear why these people would aim to injure police.

Given this nasty situation, the government went into rapid damage control, as multiculturalism was experiencing a meltdown. Thus, according to numerous reports, the Albo government, through its E-Safety Commissioner voiced concerns over the spread of the clip of the stabbing and demanded that Facebook and X to remove it from public access within 24 hours. The grounds given werethat it will "make people emotional" and "cause disharmony." As Zerohedge.com notes, it is the challenge which this posed to multicultural harmony and mass immigration which was what was really disturbing the migration-based Albo government:

https://www.zerohedge.com/political/australian-government-orders-facebook-and-x-remove-muslim-knife-attack-video:

"The motivation behind Australia's effort to have the event removed from social media is blatantly transparent. If the attack involved anyone other than a Muslim it is unlikely they would have an interest in censoring the video. However, such horrifying incidents involving potential migrants create growing opposition to the open border policies of western progressive governments. So, rather than addressing the root of the problem (mutually exclusive cultures), officials have decided it's better to hide it instead."

Indeed, the E-Safety requirements do little, as anything, as videos like this are quickly accessed and put up on numerous sites. Even if Facebook and X complied, one can still see the incident, although Facebook entries seem to have removed the actual knife impact. Anyway, the video is up there on the internet.
